Nice house as described. Renovated bath room and very quiet environment. Easy check in and out.

Tomotaka san is full of warmth and hospitality, and it is a peaceful place to get away from every corner of this house. I look forward to staying here for a few more days when I come to Japan again.

Very laid back house (surfer’s house?) and comfortable. We had a great night. Close to Kanegahama beach. Sato was really nice and speaks good English.

I stayed there for only one night, but I think it was too little. It should have been 2 nights because there was a small town in the area, with shops and restaurants. The nature there was very beautiful. The owner is friendly and can communicate well in English. The house is clean. The bed is very warm, warmer than any other night I slept in Japan. I like the smell of firewood. It gives a natural atmosphere.

The host was a very friendly host.

It's a really nice place. It was so good that it was a shame to only stay for one night. It was a real shame that we entered the property later than planned due to the delayed aircraft. There are many places to go such as Takachiho Gorge and Shrine trains nearby, and you can see the Takachiho Bridge from the accommodation. The common space was very spacious, so 10 people stayed widely. There is a spacious kitchen, a spacious living room, 2 toilets, a bathroom with 4 showers, and 4 rooms. It's so memorable that I want to go back ~

A perfect place to have some quality peaceful time! Angela and Yasu are reachable, helpful and easy to communicate with. They are quick to respond to any questions. The kitchen has everything you need to cook simple meals. The two tatami rooms are cozy. The dining table is good sized and great for doing some work. The wifi is also good. Great for workcation! The house is well planned. After coming back from surfing, you can put your board on the rack and hang your wetsuits outside. Then, you can go straight to have a shower. The workbench comes in handy for waxing your board or repairing a ding. Last but not least, I like the “doma” space, which is really rare to see in Japan nowadays. The house is located in a cute coastal village where you can savor historic ambience. Strolling around the village is relaxing. It’s really quiet at night. Great for a super light sleeper like myself. What’s not to like? Thank you, Angela and Yasu. I didn’t want to leave the house. It felt like home!

We had a wonderful stay at Emi-san and Shintaro-san’s place! They were very friendly, kind, and responsive. The house was perfect! It was so clean and lovely and we had everything we needed. We cooked breakfast every morning and found delicious restaurants in town for dinner. Our sweet hosts gave us a full listing of restaurants and grocery stores in the area. Their neighborhood was very quiet and close to docks with fishing boats. We had a pleasant walk around there one morning and saw almost a dozen black kites (hawk like birds). It was an easy walk from the train station. We had a lovely stay!
