Beach house holiday rentals in Hvar

Beautiful place, beautiful view of the bay, very nice and communicative host. The water in the bay is very clean and clear, it's a good idea to bring a swimming mask, under the water surface you will encounter a lot of fish. A beach made of small pebbles is clean and well-maintained. The tap water is not drinkable (due to the salty taste), but hosts easily provide good water. We were with a small dog, which was no problem in the hosts building. However, you should know that there are signs at the entrance to the beach that prohibit dogs, but with reasonable care, no one pays attention to them, so it's not a problem either. Getting to the bay can be quite difficult for not very good drivers, the roads to Hvar are winding, sloping and often unsecured. However, it will be a great adventure for people who like to drive. In summary: I would definitely recommend this place and the host, choosing an apartment here you will get beautiful views, silence and unforgettable experience.

What a lovely place! The village of Polvja is a sweet little oasis about a 45 minute drive from the ferry terminal in Supetar. It is away from the bustle of tourism that you’ll find in Bol or Supetar but with all the amenities you can hope for. The house itself is right on the bay. Beautifully designed, the outdoor and indoors spaces merge into each other beautifully. It provided plenty of space for our party of 7 people , with a fully stocked kitchen and spacious rooms. It got a bit hot in the rooms in the evenings but was pleasant enough with windows open and fans on. That said if you’re used to A/C - you might find it difficult. I would come return to the house and the village in a heartbeat!

Ivos house is a real gem - the location of the house is just amazing, being located so close to a dream-like blue bay. The house itself offers great views, is very spacious, very clean and offers everything you meed for a stay. Plus Ivo is a fantastic host - always there for questions, very nice and helpful. All in all an absolute pleasure and we will return for sure!

Thanks for everything, we had a great time. The place is beautiful and we really enjoyed the large terrace as well as the small cove at the bottom of the house for swimming.

Bruno's place was a really special experience, looking out into the sea from your bedroom window at the little fish with a coffee and listening to the waves on waking and going to sleep. The summer kitchen is also a bonus, it's down on the ground floor right beside the private swimming bay. Bruno was so friendly and picked us up at the Port and gave great recommendations for local cusine and places to visit. It felt very safe and was easy to walk around the bay. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early than we had booked as I was unwell but Bruno even refunded us for the night without a second thought which was so kind and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend his place. It is a little sweet slice of authenticity in a modern world.

Even though the weather didn't work for us as usual in Croatia, the days in this place were unforgettable. The atmosphere of the place, the view of the olives and the sea, the peace and the peace. Good accessibility and scenic roads to downtown Milna. All of this is great here. The space is cozy, practical and unpretentious, with amazing outdoor seating, a great grill, and an outdoor shower... we didn't miss anything. Very kind and communicative hosts. We want to come back soon. Thank you!

What a fantastic location. Peace and quiet and the beautiful sea. Lovely hospitable hosts. Super friendly and genuine. The BBQd fish they bought us for lunch was the best we had ever had. If you want to get away from it all then this is the place to come. We stayed a week and didn’t use the car once.

Unique stay in a sheltered and beautiful bay, steep road down from towns above. We were well looked after by Irene & Druro, Pavo's parents. A welcome mix of very kind hospitality and privacy. Really wonderful hosts. The apartment was very homely inside; very comfortable bed, all the equipment we needed. Tastefully furnished. Outside we enjoyed the lush garden over several well planted terraces. Lots of mossies though - possibly due to the heavy rain. Enjoyed swimming and using paddle boards - although the water gets pretty busy with sailing boats coming and going. They were fun to watch from one of the various terraces. 2 local places to eat and a shop with basic stock. A little tricky to find on arrival. Thank you very much for an enjoyable and memorable stay. A special place :-)

Loved our stay at Mirjana’s place! Would recommend to anyone, it is amazing! Very clean and modern apartment. Located centrally in Hvar, only a short walk to the supermarket, all bars and restaurants and the ferry port. Mirjana was so accommodating to us and flexible with check in and check out with our ferry times which was super appreciated. Mirjana was so friendly and responsive to any messages we sent. We loved the pool and terrace area too. Beautiful. Defo stay here if you are coming to Hvar.

The place is so beautiful that no photo will reveal this wonderful view that amazed us every day. The atmosphere of the house was amazing - we felt like on a deserted island surrounded by chickens, a rooster, who was our morning alarm clock, and the beautiful horses complemented the charm of this place... The house was clean, very well-equipped- and you can feel homely when cooking dinners on the patio. Close to the beach with a descent to the bottom where we were alone. Not only the atmosphere of the house, its location, the amazing view made an impression on us - such great hosts, with a huge heart, helpful and warm-hearted, and when we returned home, we received a gift from them and a beautiful bear for our daughter. With all our hearts, we encourage all those who value peace, quiet, nature, and paradise views. Thank you for everything- Arek, Kasia, Adrian.

Filip was an amazing host, always helpful, friendly and made us feel right at home. We all loved the house and location, easy walk into Hvar and in the other direction to a wonderful beach. The house was comfortable and had all we needed. The pool was perfect. Highly recommended and thanks Filip!

I had a great stay at Tom’s villa! It’s in a beautiful setting with incredible views of the Adriatic and the mountains in the distance, with a sparkling pool and vineyards in between - stunning! Shops and restaurants nearby were open during the first few days of my stay but closed down in early October. Plenty of great restaurants in Jelsa though which was still walking distance from the villa (3km). Tom had wine, and other drinks in the fridge and snacks on the table prior to checking which was so appreciated and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking (spices, oils, etc). Don’t hesitate, if you’re looking for a great villa in a perfect setting, book Villa Tomic!

This is by far the most beautiful, perfect Airbnb I have ever stayed at. It is truly a magical, hidden gem that is better than you can imagine and better than all the pictures combined. Everything was perfect and the little touches such as the huge fresh fruit platter and the wine and water made it even more special. Matea is the absolute sweetest host. The spa is spectacular. The house is immaculate. The views are beautiful with a sunset every evening. The location is the best. I love love love it in every single way. I’m coming back. Well worth the price.

The location was wonderful. I traveled with three teenagers who loved that they could walk to the town to go out at night and walk to the beach. The adults loved the pool and how close the beaches were. The only thing that wasn’t 100% great was the air conditioning. He needed another unit in the living room area of the upper apartment. We were there in July when temperatures were 90 degrees + and we couldn’t use the living room, too hot. I would definitely book again.

Very good value for money, best host possible

This house is beautifully decorated throughout, with lovely furniture and very nice touches. The photos don’t do it justice. It has a fabulous kitchen with everything you could possibly need (including a bottle of rosè wine). Truly fantastic master en-suite bathroom with excellent shower and very comfy large bed. The house is just off one of the pretty cobbled streets leading down to the buzzy little port but the garden and pool is also such a nice place to relax. Jelsa is such a picture perfect town with excellent restaurants (highly recommend Me & Mrs Jones) supermarkets, ice cream shops and fresh bakeries. We loved watching the boats coming and going. Also beautiful coastal walks either side of the Jelsa harbour. Hvar island is one of the prettiest places in the med. All in all this is probably the best AirBnB we have ever stayed in - we highly recommend Hvar island, Jelsa and this gorgeous house.

We had an amazing time @ Jacolien’s place. The location is perfect, the area calm and relaxing, the view is stunning and you also wake up with the cigales. I will definitely come back here for my next trip in Hvar. Highly recommend !

The proposed apartment is of high standard. Very good quality of the furniture, spacious rooms. There are also 3 toilets and two bathrooms (one shower and one bathtub). Several accommodations with different amenities (hot tub). We have to be hosted very, very well and had a good time. We recommend the restaurant next to Argentinian. We were delighted with the meal, wine and the quality of the service. Thanks to Daniel and Ben for their welcome and the quality of the apartment.

We had a very nice vacation. The beach (small/rocky) is close to the house and not overcrowded. Bathing shoes because of the sea urchins and the stones are important, as almost everywhere on the island of Brac. The place is very well equipped, which was extremely important for us as self-catering. There are large supermarkets in Supetar. Overall highly recommended if you want a quiet holiday with plenty of relaxation.

We had an amazing stay at this beach apartment! The location is perfect, situated in a nice and quiet area near Jelsa. It's just a 15-minute beautiful walk along the seaside to reach the village center, making every outing enjoyable. The apartment itself is simple yet comfortable and well-equipped, featuring a beautiful terrace surrounded by lush plants. The sea is right in front of the apartment, providing stunning views and easy access to the water. The shaded terrace allowed us to enjoy meals outdoors comfortably. Nada was incredibly kind and helpful, always available to answer our questions and provide useful information while fully respecting our privacy. Her hospitality made our stay even more pleasant. The beach road in front of the apartment is quiet and safe, used mainly by walkers, joggers, and cyclists, adding to the peaceful ambiance. Overall, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend staying at Nada's apartment!

We didnt want to leave!!! We are already recommending this lovely little find to friends and family and we will definitely be back. We booked last minute and Maja could not have been anymore accommodating and helpful. The villa was everything we could have wished for . Everything was clean and comfortable. The location was amazing only 5 minute walk to the harbour and restaurants and 15 minutes to the beach. We rented a boat for the day to explore the islands and rented bikes for a day and cycled over to Jesla which was a delight. Hvar town is only 30mins taxi ride away . Nera is very friendly and responsive, goes out of her way and helps. The apartment was nice, clean, big, has everything you need at your disposal. The bay is a very beautiful, quiet, pebble beach. The island is interesting and has a lot of nice things. The week went by very quickly and we have good memories.

My 3 kids spent 5 magical days in Elena's house with their grandparents and cousins. Access to the sea 2 steps away, meals taken facing the sea, sumptuous sunsets, olive trees all around …. 4 days of total happiness and unforgettable memories. It was a pleasure to hear them when they returned and my husband and I hope one day to have the opportunity to experience this little piece of paradise. Only small downside: in the middle of the season, the wait for the Ferry to reach or leave the island of Brac can be long (more than 2 hours out and almost equally on the way back).

We had amazing stay. Calmly located, way bigger and cozier than expected. Beautiful beach and honestly the best restaurants were 50m away, not in Sumartin although the 20 min walk there was nothing but nice. Nothing bad to say about this place, worth every penny!
