Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hunter Region

Julie is a wonderful host very easy to communicate with. We feel in love with Port Stephen’s and could imagine living there one day. Thank you Julie for the Christmas touches the kids very much enjoyed the lights. We hope to be back one day soon.

A beautiful oasis setting, in the trees. Wonderful western aspect offering evening opportunities to sit on the balcony and watch the sudnown. Easy 2 minute drive to Avoca beach. Really well set up kitchen with double cooktop and oven. Great communication from Janine and Henk.

We had a great stay at the property! Beautiful views of Smiths Lake and Sandbar Beach. The deck was the stand out for us- great to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen was really well equipped and bedrooms were spacious. We also had a great time playing table tennis. The property is also a short drive from all the beautiful surrounding beaches and a short stroll to the the local shops. Would stay at the property again!

Great peaceful location. Close to Hunter Valley gardens and wineries. Perfect accommodation for large families. Young Nephews loved the supply of toys! Would highly recommend and stay there again!

10/10 highly recommend and would stay there again. Fully stocked with lots of games and activities for both kids and adults. We experienced both sunny and rainy days, where we were either at the beach or in Michelle's pool, or indoors playing pool or board games. House was very clean and had space for everyone, including our dog. Umina shops were close by, and the beach was walking distance. Michelle's house is beautiful and homey, we felt comfortable and right at home. Thanks for having us!

Have stayed here several times. Geoff's place is always very clean, well-equipped, lovely and quiet and spacious. We will be staying again.

Lovely location, house is comfortable, relaxed and perfect for a beach holiday. Our dogs loved the back yard and the dog beach. Ceiling fans were essential as there is no air conditioning. We had a great stay and will be back.

This place feels like home. Belinda has taken care of every little thing that you may require is available. Kitchen is equipped, bathrooms, laundry, if you want to read, there are books available. This house has beautiful backyard where you can sit and enjoy your cup off coffee arnd flowers and fruit trees. This house has great positive vibes and energy. Thanks Belinda i always love staying at your place with my family. We have created memories here :).

We had the most amazing weekend at Donna’s place, Turtles. The apartment was clean, well- equipped, spacious, light and bright. The location was perfect for beach access and lovely panoramic views. Donna was polite and friendly in all interactions, responding quickly and providing detailed instructions. We will most definitely be returning to Turtles at Caves Beach, thanks so much Donna!!

We had an amazing stay at Steve's place! The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to all the local attractions. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the welcome chocolate and local recommendations. The communication with Steve was excellent from start to finish. He was responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and we would love to stay here again!

Beautiful studio- like apartment - lovely furniture and balcony and very comfy bed. Bianca was very despair and have great local recommendations! Loved the availability of acar spot in the garage as parking is hard to find around the area!

The only thing I didn’t like about the place was that I had to leave. I will definitely be going back there. Lovely relaxing place and the beach and veranda were very relaxing.

this was a great home from home for 2 people, we are only sad that we were not staying longer. there is so much to do in this area. we will have to come back again

Apartment was great! Lovely decor and super spacious layout. The building set up with carpark and amenities is a little confusing to navigate initially but okay once you get the hang of it. Great spot, easily walkable to many places and lots of great restaurants particularly along the harbour.

Bill’s house was absolutely amazing. The views were just breathtaking and the house itself was very cozy and delightful for cooking and sharing meals. Bill was also an amazing host and made us feel at home. Highly highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful experience and would definitely return again! Felt like home. Diane was so lovely to communicate with, the location was great across the road from the water. Beautiful view to wake up to each morning. Walking distance to carnival, beaches and water park for the kids. Woolworths in the next street which was very convenient. Beautiful short walks to the Rockpool and over the bridge to Forster town centre. Thank you Diane for a wonderful holiday!

We had an amazing stay at Andrew and Greg’s place, we immediately felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The apartment is so beautiful and immaculately clean with stunning views from every window and it is right by the beach! You can see the ocean from the bedroom window while laying in the comfy bed where you’ll sleep like a baby 😴 Andrew and Greg gave us great recommendations for things to do around the area and were very friendly and welcoming, we will be dreaming about Greg’s delectable cookies 🤤 Overall it was the perfect place for our beach holiday getaway, we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone. Thank you so much Andrew and Greg! ❤️

Grant and Jodee were amazing hosts. the place is outstanding and the views incredible. I so wanted to stay longer. it really is an amazing place to recharge, really comfortable and beautiful. I left some boardies and the amazing hosts even washed them and dropped them back to me. above and beyond hosts

Definitely recommend staying here, we will be rebooking in the future
