Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Huizen

This is how you do Air BnB the right way! Having stayed in a number of Air BnB's this is without a doubt up there as the best yet I have been to. Kimmie was extremely welcoming, responsive and helpful, we couldn't have asked for any more from our host. The house was extremely clean and we very much enjoyed the hot tub and bath! The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed ourselves so much we will be going back soon. Kimmie had kindly set up a safe sleeping cot with appropriate bedding for my daughter along with a high chair and toddler cutlery, it's this attention to detail which made the difference for us. If you are looking for a place to stay on a lovely lake with everything you need, do not hesitate to book!

We had a very nice weekend with two couples and 4 small kids in Bart and Bas's cottage. The house is cozy and there are lots of toys available for the kids which was very convenient! Also quick and clear communication with the hosts which was very nice. There is an outdoor and indoor playground, a petting zoo and a swimming pool in the park. So we didn't have to go far to entertain ourselves and the kids. In short, with all the facilities nearby and the nice house we were able to have a very relaxing weekend together!

My partner and I spent five nights in the cabin and were absolutely in love with the place! The cabin is incredibly cozy, and with a lot of personality. It was clear that Han has put his heart and soul into it and we loved it. The location is superb, quiet and within walking distance from the lovely Alkmaar although we very much preferred to stay in and enjoy the cabin and sorroundings, as well as the very friendly animals. Last but not least, Han is one of the loveliest hosts we have ever met and could not do enough for us during our stay, even kindly offering a fascinating tour of the 1632 mill! We had a lovely family vacation in Wyik aan Zee. Beautiful beach for walking. A trip to Haarlem and Amsterdam were also on the program. Highly recommended. All in all, we will be happy to come back.

Bink was really helpful. The main entrance for the neighborhood was closed due to some works, but Bink managed to get for us the code for the other entrance so we could park next to the house and didn't have to walk more than 10 minutes from the parking area.

The house was just as clean and beautiful as on the pictures – everything super well maintained and welcoming. The communication with Remco was very friendly and fast from the beginning. The location is beautifully quiet, perfect for relaxing. The absolute highlight was definitely the hot tub. Even when a little mishap happened to us in the house, Remco was incredibly understanding and relaxed. We had such a lovely time staying in Middelie. The location was beautiful, serene and peaceful. It was a great location for us to see a variety of other cities and towns in the area.

We enjoyed the accommodation all around. It is located in a quiet and idyllic location directly on a small canal, with good connections to the nearest cities of Hoorn and Alkmaar as well as the beach, which can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Especially the large bathroom with towels and bathrobes as well as the cozy living room and kitchen impressed us. The bed was extremely comfortable, so we slept wonderfully. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were warmly welcomed, got a small tour of the horse farm and valuable excursion tips. Also on departure, the owner inquired about suggestions for improvement, which was very attentive. We can fully recommend this place and will be happy to come back!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and had everything we could possibly need. It smelled amazing and felt so cozy and welcoming. Sylvia was an outstanding host — incredibly kind, helpful, and always responsive. Her instructions were clear and made every part of our stay easy and smooth. The home itself is perfect, and the neighborhood is just lovely. It’s a peaceful area, with restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. You can reach the metro with a 10-minute walk along a beautiful path, and from there it’s only a 10-minute ride to Rotterdam city center. We would absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Dear Hans and Paul, Our little family had a very nice time at your place. You were very helpful accepting our daughter’s packages we ordered. New Year’s Eve was special, as far as we could see, there were fireworks. Hope to visit Wassenaar in the summer time too.

We arrived at the most enchanting haven imaginable, Michiel and Marjolein’s serene abode here at Lekkerkerk. Savoring breakfast or dinner while basking in the breathtaking views of the pond and birds was nothing short of magical. I was deeply inspired by waking up to the melodic songs of birds, and reading a great book at night after a day of exploring the nearby sights in front of the cozy wood burning fireplace. This place is truly a slice of heaven and brought profound peace to our souls. Michiel and Marjolein are the epitome of exceptional hosts. We have traveled to numerous destinations and have stayed in many ARBNBs, but never have we encountered such warm and lovely individuals. Thank you both for making our stay with you nothing short of extraordinary. This is truly a special place.

We stayed here for a weekend and enjoyed it, super welcoming, everything clean and tidy. Backyard under construction but a beautiful side/front garden with various seats where you can relax. We had a small problem and this was immediately looked at! Great stay!

Very good location, 15min walk to Ahoy Rotterdam the metro station, restaurants and groceries. Host was very friendly and offered flexible check in and check out times. Highly recommend!

An absolutely fabulous luxury flat. Mariette’s flat sets new standards for luxury with her flat. Warm welcome her on arrival. The flat is in a beautiful peaceful setting. Easy to access Amsterdam. Beautiful little village with lovely bakery, deli, lovely for walks along the beachfront. Extremely well stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need and more. Spacious Bedroom and living room . Thank you for having us.

The place was great, very modern and looked like the pictures. We felt very comfortable. The pool was also great!

Great country retreat!!

We stayed at Advas house with our dog for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The host was leaving some treats for us and even for Lumi (our dog) and also suggested nice restaurants and possible walks with gpx files in the area. The place was just as presented on Air BnB, really clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to really enjoy the garden but I’m sure it would be great to enjoy a nice little fire outside :) would be nice to come back in summertime!

We were delighted by the environment, the setting, the calm and the change of scenery. The cottage is nice and cozy. We recommend it.

Beautiful location snuggled in a very cute backyard. Peaceful atmosphere in a very quiet neighbourhood with great restaurants within a 1-2min walk. Would definitely stay again!

Had a wonderful weekend in this cozy and cozy house. Great that our four-legged friends were allowed to come😍. Relax wonderfully in the sauna, good beds and nice warm blankets. Fantastic hiking tours made in the area. Recommended!

We had a great stay with Nico and Danielle. They are very nice hosts who are quick to respond to any queries. Even a smart TV was arranged at our request. The cottage has all the comforts and is very tastefully decorated. Great bathroom and bed. The cottage is in their backyard, but you hardly notice that because it is completely enclosed from the main house. The area is worthwhile with Hoorn and Enkhuizen. In short: had a great week!

We had an amazing stay here, the area is so peaceful and quiet and was perfect for a break. The rowing boats and canals were such an amazing bonus too. We could get food delivered for dinner but the shops were less than 15 mins drive away too. We will most definitely be booking this again ❤️
