Holiday rentals with a kayak in Hudson River

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful spot for our weekend get away! Perfect space for our family to relax and enjoy the area. The hosts were very accommodating and communicated well. We were in town to visit our son at RPI but wanted to try a different location and this one was awesome. We will be back and will plan to stay longer next time to enjoy the area even more.

Came for a winter weekend with some friends. Loved the hot tub and river views. House was clean and well appointed. Made use of the kitchen and grill. Would stay again!

We had a great time. Beautiful property and perfect location. We traveled into Jim Thorpe (about 10 min drive) for the Fall Foliage Festival and dinner Friday night.

Thank you, Brent and family for a great stay near Cooperstown. The home had everything we needed for a party of 10 that included young kids. Brent was very responsive throughout the entire stay and was a great host! The home is right on the river and had kayaks and canoes available for guests. We took advantage of the bbq in the backyard. The rooms were clean and large enough for everyone to fit in comfortably. Plenty of bathrooms for all! We enjoyed our stay!

Despite booking my stay with three other friends for my birthday during February, it was the absolute best decision. Everything was as described, lot of great in-home amenities including games (i.e. ping pong, pool, tons of table-top entertainment.) Scott was absolutely one of the best hosts I have coordinated and communicated with. He would check-in to ensure we had what we needed and when there was a heavy snowfall the evening prior to our departure date- he immediately checked in and had the walkway and driveway cleared of snow. Lot of great, beautiful hikes in the snowfall and do hope to have the opportunity to return during the warmer season. Thank you, again, for the wonderful accommodations and for being such a proactive and communicative host!

The view from the house of the sunrise over the mountains and reflecting on the lake was spectacular. Lastly, it being dog friendly made it all the sweeter. Tranquility and comfortability at its best with this air bnb.

Dana was a great host. We were looking for a quiet place to recharge and plan 2025 and her place was perfect. Two chairs looking out at a pastoral landscape with frozen lake and trees watching the birds and bald eagle fly by. Super peaceful just what we were looking for. We will be back.

It was wonderful! being lakeside with the help of the weather gods, it was PERFECT! Three decks ourside,kayaks avialable. Spectacular view ourside and from most windows inside. The resident duck tribe added to the natural beauty. Indoors, a clean, fresh feeling, comfortable furniture and beds. It was a home run as soon as we entered the door.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was beautiful and very peaceful.

My stay was nothing short of amazing. Although we were snowed in and did not leave, we were able to share relaxing moments, while taking in the view of the frozen lake. I will be returning in the future.

Quiet and quaint, this was just what my sister and I needed while visiting our elderly father who lives around the other side of the lake.

our stay at ellen’s cottage was private and peaceful. the space had everything needed to feel right at home, including a super comfy mattress!

The cottage is a beautiful retreat on Cedar Lake, perfect for a little getaway! The place itself is cozy but with plenty of space for what we needed, and a gorgeous deck right on the water. Couldn’t get enough of the outdoor space! Quiet neighborhood and incredibly close to the restaurants and shops of Sturbridge. Amazing stay!

Can’t say enough about how great this property is! My girlfriend and I, along with our dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this awesome cottage. It’s surrounded by great views. It is exactly what you need if you want a peaceful getaway and time to just relax. John went above and beyond to make sure our stay was just as intended. He was available for any needs. We will definitely be back to experience all the seasons at this great cottage.

I stayed here over the holidays, as my parents are local to the area. Doreen was wonderful about coordinating my stay, and the cabin was so cozy and peaceful. It made for a very relaxing Christmas. I cannot recommend it enough, the lake is beautiful and the cabin is pristine yet inviting. By far the cleanest and coziest cabin I’ve ever rented on Airbnb, I cannot recommend it enough! Perfect for your lake getaway!

Had a great couple of days skiing with my sons. 4 of us at the cabin, great living space for us to watch the football games or play cards at the dinette. Beds very comfy - we all slept well! Ryan was very clear with his instructions to get in which was very helpful. Had a blast - thanks!

Wow, as my first place on Airbnb I have to say I’m blown away! Never been treated so well and felt so welcomed! Dennis is an awesome host! Communication with him went smoothly, and the cabin feels so cozy, especially now with the snow! Instructions were very clear and the place looked absolutely brand new like no one has ever stayed there when we arrived haha. We truly felt like we were in a movie and we love our thrillers set in the woods so this was 10/10 for us! I definitely recommend checking out this Airbnb if you’re looking for cozy vibes, peace, scenery, and a smooth experience. I’m definitely coming back and my only problem was I booked 1 night lol, next time I’m coming for 3!!!!

I've stayed at a couple dozen AirBnB's over the years, but this most recent one, Jacqui's place on Spruce Lake, goes right to the top of my list of best AirBnB experiences. It has an amazing location, is wonderfully designed and decorated, pristinely clean and functional, but most of all, it has an indefinably cozy and peaceful vibe. A lovely retreat from the world, and a great place to hang out in front of a roaring fire ( it has a truly magnificent fireplace) with loved ones.

Thank you for sharing you property with us. My kids had so much fun with the boats and the great fishing. They also loved the rope swing. Comfortable furniture, really good amount of cookware, and various items around like bug spray or drinking water, life vests, first aid kit, and boats! Good amount of boats/kayaks to use. Friendly host and felt welcomed and at home. There is a gas grill that works very good, and also a set up so that you can grill over fire...very cool. Inside there is a propane stove top making morning eggs and potatoes easy. Excellent silence too, being so away from main roads. Saw a lot of birds, and there is plenty of bass. Very fair price for convenient and well seasoned fire wood. Great stay. I recommend.

Linda was absolutely phenomenal. The lengths she went to ensure my family had a great ski weekend were truly above and beyond. The lake house is roomy and exactly what we needed. More than we needed actually and a great spot. I can’t recommend the house, or Linda, enough.

Even on a snowy days, we loved the lakeview provided at the cabin. The shower was great, and it was so nice for a hot shower after a day skiing. The kitchen had everything we needed, and utilized my quick cooking skills without a microwave. We enjoyed the small town cultural offerings at Catskills Foundation (20 min away), and the quiet of the land at the cabin. We all slept well, and appreciated the murphy cabinet bed utilized by our toddler, and was a cozy area for us all to watch a movie, since the couch is a 1-2 seater. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would love to visit in the summer/spring to break out the canoes!

Carol and Jeff were fantastic hosts and their cabin on the lake was exactly what my wife and I were expecting for our baby moon. The property on Sixth Lake was just far enough from town to be peaceful and relaxing but close enough to get a bite to eat, do some shopping, and pick up any needed grocery items. Carol and Jeff provided perfect communication and the house had everything. Oh, and can’t forget the cookies, which were the best. Sean and Katie
