We had a wonderful time at Amanda's apartment. The place is clean, bright and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. Needless to say, the view from the main window is incredible. The area is quiet, though supermarkets and restaurants are nearby on foot. Amanda was an amazing host from start to finish. She was speedy in responding, helpful and flexible, helping us with extra sheets and even booking us a cab to the train station when we left. Highly recommend this experience all round!

Crossing the road is Dongdaemun Night Market, the house is neat and has a washer and dryer, it is very convenient, the host is quick to reply, push it.

Great stay, owner always enthusiastic and quick to respond to all questions, very recommend everyone to come to Hualien can stay on this side, easy to go to Dongdaemun night market or elsewhere

The common space and room are very clean and welcoming, Mama Lin is warm and friendly, located in a small alley next to the main road, convenient and quiet, very welcoming and comfortable stay

Robert's apartment is truly a gem! We are living in Taipei for 5 months and visited HuaLien with my 3 kids for a long weekend trip. For roughly $50usd/night, we had walkable access to numerous restaurants, street vendors, the Dongdamen Night Market, an incredible beach with a very large playground (zip line, swings, slides, large play structure, the works) and lovely long trail for walking or running. A longer walk takes you to the beautiful Martyr's Temple. We hired a driver to take us to Taroko Gorge (which is mostly closed due to the earthquake last spring) but it still quite a scenic drive. The apartment itself was very comfortable with a queen sized bed and a bunk bed with full sized mattresses. Bedding was clean and the studio was completely pest free. The shower is a wet-style (no door) but easy to manage and the hot water pressure was surprisingly strong. The tea and coffee was a nice treat, as was having a single burner for cooking and a mini fridge. Love this place!

Beautiful house, clean and tidy, beautiful sea view from the window, 5 mins walk to the night market. Highly recommended!!!

we found that tarokos house was AMAZING! The host was extremely helpful and provided recommendations for many local activities. this apartment was very clean and spacious. we felt right at home from the moment we arrived! We will always recommend taroko and Diana as hosts to anyone visiting hualien. very surprised at how amazing they were especially considering the price! thank you so much for making us feel welcome and providing a stress free residence for our stay in hualien! can't wait to stay again in the future!
