The kitchen is large and superbly equipped. The house is ideally suited for holidays for one or two families. It has four bedrooms - two with en-suite showers - and a family bathroom on the first floor for parents and young adults, and two bedrooms and a bathroom in the attic for up to four younger children.

You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the comfy beds, the wood burning stove, the dark night sky and the views across the meadow. The house has just been renovated and includes stripped wooden floorboards, original fireplaces, a wood burning stove, roll top bath and kingsize beds with sumptuous linen. The sandy beach, stunning countryside walks, boutique shops, great pubs and restaurants make Southwold the perfect destination for a family holiday or short weekend break.

Our family has been holidaying at Westdene for four generations and it just gets better every year! Whatever time you choose to visit this unique part of Suffolk, there is a never-ending list of things to do. We have Netflix or Monopoly for the few rainy days and bikes and outdoor table tennis for sunny days. The house feels so spacious, but you will feel instantly at home. We are five minutes walk from the sea; two minutes from the pub; four minutes from the boating lake and golf club.
