Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Hombrechtikon

For us this was perfect “home base” away from home full of old Swiss rustic charm and private. Very well equipped kitchen, home is spacious, clean and cozy, laundry room came really handy as well. Great location - away from hustle and bustle of Zurich but short distance from it and from the airport as well. Many great day trips possible within 5 min drive up to an hour drive. Grocery store 3 min walk away. Thomas is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We also found great restaurant 5-8 min drive - Gasthof zum Kreuz - shout out to the owner - very friendly made us feel like family - food was great, nice atmosphere and good prices. Grateful we got to experience it all.

Erica's house is very spacious and clean. The atmosphere is peaceful. Patrick (her son) was very helpful during our stay.

Best hosts ever! Nui & Stephan spoiled us with many extras. They are truly passionate about welcoming guests. Location with car is fantastic, minutes away from highway access points to visit Aarau, Zurich, Basel and Bern. Lovely area for walking, visiting castles and exploring. A Volg grocery stores is walking minutes away. The house is big with multiple sitting areas, the kitchen has every gadget, garden and sunroom. A big surprise was having several food items provided to get us started. And there was chocolate & cake.

We were very well hosted by Theres, very nice cottage, very nice view, the kitchen is well equipped, rustic but very pleasant to live in. The rooms are big. We'd be happy to come back.

We were able to relax and stay like at home in this country where we can have incredible experiences. No convenient parking issues. It's a little far from the center of Zurich, but the distance is worth it for this house. The only thing I'm sorry about is that we didn't spend a lot of time in the house, we just entered to sleep. The information for the house, the pictures are all exactly the same. We were very lucky to shop very close to a quiet village of Konstanz Germany. If I come back, my choice will be Andrea and Marc's house again. Thank you so much. You are great.

Place is super clean, well furnished and super cosy, you feel that Jaqueline is really invested in preparing a tidy place for her Guests! She was also super reactive in case we needed anything! I vividly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay with amazing view, this place very close to ski for winter time and lake at summer time! Sauna is a big bonus, unfortunately pool was closed (I guess because it’s not a season), but I would love to jump into it after sauna😅!! Place was clean and have everything you need.

The stay was very pleasant. The area is very quiet and quiet. The shops are very close (100 meters) and you can go there on foot. We'll be back.

We chose this location due to it being down the road from family that live in Switzerland, and we really enjoyed using the property as a comfortable base during Christmas week 2024. The property is very quiet, clean and warm. It has easy access to road and rail networks, but you can also walk from the door into peaceful open countryside or down into the old town of Mellingen. Sue and Fritz were very helpful and friendly, and we even had a light snowfall on our first night – many thanks to Fritz for clearing the path of snow for the next morning!

Our stay was just lovely. Antonia is extremely friendly and her cozy house is quietly located. Our dogs felt at home:) We'd love to come back

It was a lovely family Christmas! The apartment was very spacious and very clean. The panorama from the living room to the lake and the mountains is amazing. The owner is very responsive, always responding quickly to messages. And an important moment for us - our youngest daughter forgot her phone in the apartment, and we discovered the loss only a few days later. The owner resolved this issue very quickly, the phone was even charged so that we could see its location. We are definitely ready to return here, with pleasure!

The loft is modern, fully equipped, clean and exactly matches the photos. We were very comfortable. From the bed we could see the stars on a clear winter night. Sidney is a great hostess. We liked it very much and would be happy to come back!

Besides the breathtaking surroundings, and the modern, hygienic and fully equipped apartment, what we really appreciate is that Pius respects our privacy and gives us 100% freedom, but at the same time he is very helpful and answering message in minutes. Beautiful, bright, and spotless apartment in a fantastic, walkable neighborhood. Extremely well appointed kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. Transportation, grocery store, and coffee shop within easy walking distance. Host Mark was friendly and responded quickly to our questions.

We had a lovely few days in the snow in the Wäglital. The apartment is well equipped and you can quickly reach beautiful places by car for hiking, skiing and walking. Sandra, Marcel's wife, clarified everything with us. She was super friendly and helpful.

This was a fantastic trip with our two daughters and our dog! Desiree's place was magical and felt a bit like disappearing into the pages of a favourite picture book. The setting is beautiful - peaceful and away from everyone and everything, with the mountains in the background. The old farm house is comfortable and had everything we needed, plus it was fun heating it with the wood stove - cosy and warm. Desiree is a great host - accommodating and helpful and made us feel very welcome. By the way, we did not find the dirt track to the house difficult to drive. (We did have a 4x4)

we had a perfect 3 days in the petra loft. The environment in the middle of nature and waterfalls was beautiful, and the perfect loft to get away from the world for a few days 🕯🌌

My husband and I were super happy with the place. Great location with views of the great mountains. Breakfast on the terrace with mountain views. Starting point for great hikes. Nice, uncomplicated hosts. And the apartment is great. We would definitely go back.
