Waterfront holiday rentals in Holetown

This location is a hidden gem and exceeded all expectations. Literally the beach is at your doorstep and is not crowded like other beaches. The flat is lovely as well as the gardens are well maintained. I loved it and will definitely be back and recommending to friends. Thank you.

We've just returned home from our first trip to Barbados and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Kerry and Nathan were wonderful hosts - friendly, welcoming and super responsive. They prepared us a welcome pack and it was exactly what we needed so we could immediately relax and feel at home. Casuarinas was perfectly situated, with wonderful views out to sea and a terrace that meant you could sit and watch the sunsetting out over the water. It was just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and a couple more into Oistins. It was the perfect balance of connected but peaceful. We would definitely stay again given the opportunity, I can't recommend highly enough. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely 2 bedroom/2 bath unit within the Glitter Bay property. The unit is under new ownership since we stayed there in March 2019 and its been completely and very well renovated since our last visit. White floors and comfy white living room and patio furniture, well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, good washer and dryer — everything felt and looked clean and well maintained. Only downside is that there is only one tv in the unit, in the living room; with older children traveling with us, it would have been nice if the bedrooms had televisions and the one in the living room had been a bit bigger. The unit has a nice view of the property and a peak of the ocean from the wonderful enormous covered terrace. There was housekeeping everyday but Sundays and they did an excellent job. For those who haven’t stayed at Glitter Bay before, the property is on one end of a lovely 1/2 mile white crescent beach with relatively calm waters — think snorkeling vs. boogie boarding. Lots of water activities (jet skis, sailing, kayaking) are easily available or can be arranged at the Fairmont. A small bar/restaurant is on site during the day and there is a beach attendant who provides beach/pool towels and, with your input, assigns you lounge chairs for your stay so there is no need to run down to the beach early in the day to put your stuff on beach chairs to “reserve” them; there are also plenty of umbrellas at the beach to provide shade during the heat to the day. For those who like swimming pools, there is a good sized pool for laps and kids to play in as well as a nice kiddie pool. Next door is the very high end Fairmont Royal Pavilion. While not cheap, they have a good restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner which overlooks the ocean. Farther down the beach is the Lonestar Hotel and Restaurant. It also serves a lovely breakfast, lunch and dinner by the beach but is a bit fancier than the restaurant at the Fairmont and quite pricy. It is easy to walk about a mile or take the public bus/drive/taxi into Holetown. There is a very well stocked Massey’s Supermarket, for those who need supplies and/or want to cook while staying at Glitter Bay, as well as a liquor store. Limegrove shopping center has a number of upscale show and restaurants. Good restaurants in Holetown include Nishi, The Mews, and Fusion Rooftop, with Paul Owen’s Beach House just outside of town. The area around Glitter Bay is relatively low density and low key compared to the areas closer to Bridgetown or Oistens. We really love it and hope to go back to Barbados and stay at Glitter Bay #207 again next year.

We have stayed with Gene Marva multiple times and never tire of being in Bathsheba. There is little to do but enjoy the beauty of the area,it is a vacation not a trip.

We loved this tastefully decorated and restful Villa and have already booked it for next year. Chanel and her team were so helpful, proactive and caring. She even came to our rescue when our flight was cancelled and we needed to extend the stay. Pool was lovely and quiet and the people we met around Schooner Bay were very friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Barbara, the host was hospitable, helpful, and attentive! She welcomed my mom and I, and really made the experience smooth! And the place is lovely....walking distance to Miami Beach! Wonderful deck where you can see the monkeys and listen to the birds. Bring your tennis shoes for the walk to the beach, or rent a car. The road is a little uneven. 10/10 would return!

Absolutely amazing location right on the ocean. The space is beautiful with lots of outdoor spaces to eat and lounge. Very well stocked with supplies, games and swimming gear (ie snorkel gear and water shoes), including rum punch in the fridge to enjoy on the patio to the sounds of the ocean. Debbie was a wonderful host who was such a pleasure to meet and clearly put love and thought in this space. Very reasonably priced. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Our second stay. We love the location and working with Lex. If you want beach front access walkable to Freights ( 1.2 miles) the grocery store and a taxi stand you found the perfect spot.

We had a wonderful stay at Davids house in Feb 2025. The house is beautiful and the photos don't do it justice. The sitting room and kitchen open directly onto the deck area the surrounding gardens are beautiful and relaxing with lots of visits from birds and there is a sea view from the deck and outdoor seating. The pool is a great place to cool down, it's too shallow to swim in but it has ledges to sit and chill out. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size all with air-conditioning. The house is on the outskirts of a traditional town where locals live, it's not polished like Holetown but it has a charm and the locals are friendly and the rum is cheap. I recommend Joan's Snackette & Bar for roti on Wednesday. We walked a lot, the house is about 40 mins to Speightown parts of the road don't feel very safe so I would recommend a car. There are plenty of busses running between all the towns too. We will defiantly be booking again

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property! The seclusion was exactly what we were looking for, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The place was perfect—cozy, well-equipped, and surrounded by nature. Ruth and Chris were amazing hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and ensuring our stay was comfortable. We truly enjoyed every moment and felt completely at home. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a serene setting, this is the place to be. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking tranquility and a unique experience. Would love to return!

We had a fantastic stay at Blue Door Beach House and can’t recommend it enough. The location is absolutely perfect– just steps from the sea, allowing us to easily enjoy the beach at any time. Super easy to get to, we took the bus to and from the airport, which was not only convenient but also a fraction of the cost of a taxi. A taxi driver quoted us €200 for the trip, but the bus for the five of us was only €17.50! The house itself was awesome, with great facilities that made our stay even more enjoyable. The air conditioning kept us cool throughout, and the washing facilities were a real bonus. We especially loved the outdoor seating area, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the ice machine was a lifesaver – it never ran out! Our hosts were very welcoming and easy to contact, always ready to help with any queries. All in all, a lovely place to stay – we’ll definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful stay with our kids. The apartment was better than described, well-equipped, and Alicia & Mark couldn’t have been more helpful hosts before or during our stay. We’ll be staying again!

Stay at Preetam and Namrata's unit 401 at Allure! Brand new, lovely and very welcoming. The place was spacious, clean, modern and filled with lots of extremely thoughtful touches throughout. The communication we received both before and during our stay was amazing. Preetam had fantastic recommendations for us, on great beaches, things to do and most especially on restaurants - we took him up on many of them and were never disappointed! He came to meet us in person (map in hand!) and we found his insights really helpful. The beach out front of the property was very nice, too (it's slightly rocky for swimming, which didn't stop us, but maybe pack water shoes) and never crowded - super relaxing. But make sure to explore the island too - tons of great beaches (all public) and there are plenty of other activities a short drive away too. The Bajan people are all so friendly and welcoming. The food, drinks, weather were all excellent. A great week in a great location! Go!

Lovely accommodation in a great location for St Lawrence Gap. Becky was brilliant with information and communication. Would definitely recommend and look to book again in the future!

Visited Barbados for the first time with my wife and teenage son. Mary’s place is awesome and she’s a superlative host! Very accommodating of my list minute travel plans and super responsive with comm. She provided loads of good inside info and even went so far as to help me find the best deal on a last minute rental car as we were running through airports to make our flights! I mean, who does that? The balcony is just 50’ from the ocean and the sound of the surf softly serenaded us to sleep each night. The location allowed easy access to all the St Lawrence gap bars and restaurants. The condo itself was very well appointed with views from the balcony, living room and master that are second to none. This place is an absolute gem and Mary is fabulous! We will definitely be back!!

Roseanne and Doug were VERY polite and hospitable and their home is wonderful. We highly recommend them and their home. The location was gorgeous, very clean and everything needed for our stay.

Loved the property, great location with small private beach, and pool. Located on saint Lawrence gap so close to a number of restaurants and bars. This was a great base for us to explore more of the island. The condo is a fully equipped home with all you need. We stayed 2 weeks and so it was cleaned fully after our first week. June the local host is lovely and was able to answer any queries we had which were few. Will miss the amazing view from the terrace, which is just stunning and the sound of the ocean as you fall asleep every night. Other guests at mistle cove were also lovely. Highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed our family stay over the holidays. The local beach was the best on the island for snorkeling in my opinion. The location had everything we could ask for.
