We loved our stay at Kathi’s beautiful home. There’s everything you need there and we were grateful for the extra consumables and special holiday touches. We were able to bring our extended family together from around the globe and we felt right at home for the holidays. We loved the walking trails and being surrounded by nature. It’s relaxing to spend time in the garden, even in the winter, and the stars at night are amazing. Nearest grocery shopping is 8 minutes away and the neighboring villages are picturesque. Kathi was also flexible, which was greatly appreciated! We’d love to return.

We needed a weekend to rest and relax and came across the apartment of Elke and her husband. We were greeted very warmly by Elke and she showed us the well-designed apartment. This has everything you could ever need and more. Besides, everything was really very clean. The highlight was the hot tub. We were able to fully relax in it. The contact was friendly and quick. Value for money is absolutely great. It was a great stay, with super friendly hosts and beautiful surroundings. We will be happy to come back 😊

The house was very nice and modernly equipped in our area on the 1st and 2nd floor. The ground floor was not yet fully renovated. When we were there, no work was done. There was no noise or other nuisance. It was clear that a lot was and will be invested in the space. It was perfect for our family reunion. The large kitchen on the 1st floor was our meeting point for cooking, eating and being sociable.

Lakeside apartment on historic castle courtyard

The location of this unique apartment in the middle of the old castle courtyard is just great. The old centamt has been well renovated. Of course, the stairs are angled and the floors are slanted in such an old house, but the equipment is great, the 5 bedrooms are very cozy, the 3 bathrooms and 2 toilets clean and the sauna is the icing on the cake. The hosts super friendly, Mr. Baron von Thüngen greatly enriched our Saturday morning with a private guided tour of the castle park. Thank you very much for this fantastic place!
