Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Hoedspruit

Andre and Erna were phenomenal hosts. They were present, responsive, helpful, and positive. Andre came each night to help us feed the resident bush babies and Erna had a full breakfast in the fridge and on the counter for us our first morning in the canyon. Our arrival was delayed due to weather and Andre stayed up to ensure we had a smooth entry. They had treats for the kids by their beds and put thoughtful consideration into each guest's stay. The photos of the villa look cool but NOTHING could have prepared us for the view from the front eating patio nor the careful attention to detail in decorating and landscaping of the house. 100/100 recommend!

My family and I had a lovely time at Miriam’s place. The house is equipped with everything that one will need. It was so nice to get peace and quiet we wanted for our down time. Unfortunately for us we didn’t get to see animals from the house. Even monkeys were missing in action 😅. All the facilities and games in the house ensured that we spend quality time together as a family. Just one thing anyone should be aware of is that network is not great at the house so if you do visit be prepared to be offline often. Thanks Miriam for allowing us to enjoy your lovely space.

This secluded river cottage in the wilderness of the Grietjie Nature Reserve offers a perfect and intimate wildlife experience. It offers a 180 degree view of the olifants river! We have enjoyed watching the animals while sitting on the private veranda. The pretty cottage has everything you need to cook and relax along with lovely swimmingpool nearby. We also highly recommend the bush walk with Mike, it was some different level of experience. Oli is a superhost, from giving us thorough understanding of the reserve to making us respectful towards nature and humbly advising us not to be too adventures to roam outside in the bush at dark time 😁, she has done all. Just for Oli and her hospitality and warmness, we surely will keep coming back.

Ntoma House was an absolute blast. The place was perfect for our girls' getaway, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. It is private and very peaceful. However, there was a slight hiccup upon arrival. We checked in at 2 pm, but the housekeeper was still cleaning, which delayed our entry. Thankfully, the host and team apologized for the inconvenience and got us settled in as soon as possible and left a complementary chocolate ☺️. Despite the initial delay, we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this beautiful place to others. The amenities, fantastic, and the scenery was stunning and far the best place we’ve ever been to. They have all necessary utensils you need for your stay (even hairdryers, ironing board and iron). Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience, the hosts were wonderful, and we can't wait to come back!"

Our time at the river was simply beautiful. Cooking outside while listening to the birds, swimming in the river or exploring the beautiful area and encountering zebras and giraffes - what more can you want :) 100% recommend for anyone wanting to switch off and rediscover the connection to nature.

Antonio’s lodge was amazing 🤩 It was very modern and very clean. The location was perfect. We heard lions roaring in the morning. If I could give 10 stars ⭐️ I would! The included game drives with Steve was once in a lifetime experience!!
