Chalet holiday rentals in Hockley

Doug’s place was right across from Blue Mountain Ski Resort. The shuttle made traveling back and forth so easy. The space was very clean and free of clutter. Great communication too. Perfect spot for a couples ski escape.

If I could give Tamara more stars I would! Our stay was incredible. The home both inside and out was picturesque and exactly as shown in the photos. We spent the weekend in Collingwood for a 40th birthday gathering and honestly one of the highlights was spending time at the Airbnb! Tamara was a wonderful host, super responsive and accommodating, could not have asked for more from her or the accommodations. If you are thinking about staying in the Collingwood area and want a private cottage with a drive less than 10 mins to downtown look no further, this is your place!

Vivian's chalet is very conveniently located less than 5 minutes by car to the ski lifts/parking. The place itself is comfortable with a large living room brand new kitchen which was perfect to accommodate our whole family. There are many bedrooms to so again very convenient for a large group. Our kids really enjoyed the soccer table and it was great to relax at the end of the day with everyone on the 3 sofas! The sauna was particularly welcomed at the end of rainy and cold skiing days! We had a great stay there and the description is as mentioned. Vivian was quick to reply to our questions.

We had a great time at their place! Our hosts were very responsive (sent someone the same day we had dishwasher troubles and they fixed it), the house was perfect for our big group with lots of kids and the location was perfect for easily getting groceries, checking out local activities and restaurants as well as spending time outside enjoying the pool/yard. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and main living space large enough for our group of 16 (plus a dog!)

We had a wonderful stay at Sara’s Everyone had such a great time together, sharing, cooking, playing games, using the sauna and the hot tub. Sara is an amazing host, quick to respond and very helpful with recommendations and tips. Our holiday was fantastic. The house is walking distance to the ski resort and the village and there are a couple of towns (10/ 15 mins drive) where you can find supermarkets, stores, cafes, etc so it is very convenient. I highly recommend this place and we would love to come back again soon!

A house with all the amenities. Walking to the slope is perfect with ski valet near. Village also walking distance. Nice house that slept all of the family very comfortably. We will stay again.

We've loved our time at this amazing home. What surprised us when we first entered the house was how much more beautiful, large, and breathtaking the home is compared to the photos. The photos really don't do it justice.

Anthony's place was nice and we enjoyed our stay. Place is very well stocked with towels, dishes, utensils and extra propane. We had a few concerns which Anthony adressed. Pool - house by the dirt road and thus traffic will cause dirt to enter pool. We advised Anthony and he promptly gave us access to the skimmer and we were able to clean the pool. Temperature is set at 80F, DO NOT increase the temperature or a fee of minimum $1500 applies if liner comes out or $5000 if liner needs replacing. This is stipulated in the contract you have to sign at check in Leak- master shower leak from damaged caulking causing water leak downstairs from the pot lights. We advised and stopped using the shower immediately. Anthony said was the first time and was going to repair the leak. Beds- bunk beds need safety railings due to safety hazard for children. Bring your own pillows if you like fluffy or firm. Anthony had offered an exclusive rate and was very kind. Would visit again.

This place was magical, even with the colder weather. We felt right at home with our little one. The views of the lake while sitting beside the fireplace, fully furnished kitchen, cozy living room, only the sounds of nature at the dock, and the hidden treehouse were perfect. It was truly a breath of fresh air to stay in an Airbnb that DID NOT have a list of things to do at checkout! We will definitely stay here again when it’s warmer!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Beautiful view, room was clean and comfortable. I would have liked a coffee maker but knew ahead of time there wasn't one so I brought my own. I come to the area to visit friends and will definitely stay here next time I come.

What a fantastic, gorgeous, private getaway! Right by the water, large panoranic windows, hottub, shower sauna, convenience store across the street, 6min drive to the village, all organized with a descriptive & responsive team. Negotiating an early check in was easy. We visited during the winter and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The highwinds made the exhaust fan for the stove clank and clang all night but we enjoyed the cooling breeze when we were in the hottub. You pay a pretty penny for this place, the cleaning fee is up there considering they expect you to do a lot of the cleaning yourself, but you get top notch view and amenities with it and privacy. More cost effective to go with a group. We are already planning on booking again and are grateful for the coupon for our next visit! A big Thank You to our wonderful hosts!

Lovely cottage, was ideal for a group of friends who wanted to get out of the city. Plenty of space, we really enjoyed our time there!

Vicki’s place was incredible. Spectacular view and great location in Collingwood close to hiking trails and grocery stores. Really cosy place and well thought out with mostly everything you could need. Bring your own shampoo and bath soap.

Amazing getaway place to go! you can rent a kayak and canoe here. walkable to Jackson Point, which is a good place to stargaze at night. I hope they have an outdoor table where we can eat... bring a camping table and chair if you have one. grill worked great.

During our stay at Jen’s cottage, we were truly impressed by how accommodating it was. We all have small children so this place was perfect as it had activities such fishing, volleyball, chess and board games and so much more. At one point the kids even had fun gathering the leaves in the front yard. This place is spacious, had everything you could possibly need for a nice getaway from the city and it’s still close to home. We had the most amazing time and will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you to Jen for being the most wonderful host and letting us use her home!
