Holiday houses in Hitaua Bay

Beautiful surroundings Listened to the birds Sat outside and watched sunrises and sunsets and tried to name all the stars.. lots of satellites scooting across the night sky too House also was not only beautiful, but very comfortable

This spot was very gorgeous and lush. The views were stellar and it was particularly good for birding, as the deck was elevated to the height of the surrounding trees. Getting to the spot was a bit tricky due to the narrow, winding roads that lead you a fair distance away from Havelock proper and if you have mobility issues this location will be difficult. There is a very steep incline to walk up followed by a series of uneven, gravel steps. The path to the nearby beach is also inaccessible for those with mobility issues but well worth the trek for others. That said, we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it but just be aware if you have mobility issues.

The apartment is spacious and has everything you need including a washing machine. The views are fantastic and everything is a quick walk or drive down the hill. Be aware, if you don't have a car - while it is very close to town, the hill is very steep if you have heavy luggage. Great exercise though! Loved Picton and this airbnb.

Clean, quiet and comfortable location for exploring the wine region, walking distance to restaurants in town, highly recommended for anyone visiting the area

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great location, very comfortable lounge and nice outdoor area too. John's apartment is very well equipped with everything you need for a lovely holiday. The bedroom upstairs is fab and the bed was super comfy. Our boat is in Waikawa so we couldn't ask for a more perfect location. Thanks John!

David's place is perfect to be away from the noise of the ferry dock but close enough to Picton Towne Centre that you can still see all that it has to offer, museums, shopping, groceries, and head back on a nice day and either watch the boats in the harbor or go for a spin in a kayak as I did! His selection of books also gives insight to NZ history and it's boating characters.

Spectacular accommodation! We were 5 people and would all recommend it! Nothing negative to say.

A well equipped lovely place in one of the world’s special places. Exceeded our expectations and a great spot to have a break.

We had been in New Zealand for almost 2 weeks and this was the best accommodation so far with the most amazing view. Absolutely loved it. Great hosts.
