This was our very first AirBnB stay for our 1 year wedding anniversary and Maureen and Matt set the bar high! We were searching for a quiet, peaceful cabin with a hot tub and great view. This cabin delivered everything and more. Maureen thought of every detail, from the cool instruments throughout to play, to the expansive record collection, even leaving a beautiful sketch of a bird for us to find on the picturesque enclosed porch. We watched birds fly over the mountains with the supplied binoculars, spent a relaxing night under the string lights watching the stars in the hot tub, and planned our next years goals together while playing connect 4 and enjoying our wedding cake in the living room. The cabin was super clean and well equipped. We forgot a few things and to our delight, were able to find substitutes easily. We ventured into Berkeley Springs for a coffee and it was such a cute town. Absolutely perfect weekend. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay, it's a very well equipped cabin, in an amazing, beautiful and very quiet place, exactly the kind of retreat we were looking for. Great mountais view. The nearby town is also very quiet and receptive, where it's easy to buy food and supplies. Su and her husband are amazing people and always willing to help. I can't wait to go back.

I will say excellent things about this place. I will say excellent things about this place. Welcome to the schoolhouse, where the decor and environment remind you of days of yore. With a gorgeous views especially out the back and kitchen side, we enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub. We enjoyed an outing of a hike in the PawPaw tunnel, and had some food at Cheryl's Snack Shack. We were seeking a private place with easy access but felt remote, within a couple hours from home. We achieved that goal, and we enjoyed ourselves. Kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of towels for the hot tub.

Great stay at a wonderful cabin nestled back into the woods. Well furnished and maintained with a phenomenal deck and screened patio.

We did a last minute booking for our big crew of two families and it was the perfect location and house size. Room for the parents and the kids to spread out and spend some fun time. We came to the area to snow tube at night and decided we just wanted to stay. The kids loved that you could watch them rebuild the hill! The house is easy to find and located in a great location with tons around. Check in was easy and we were greeted by a nice cozy, warm house after our drive to the area. Contacting the office for any issues is super easy. We couldn’t get the fireplace to light and they sent someone right to us. We had already booked our tubing, but they gave us a refund of the discount offered as a guest. There is a lot of highway noise and noise as they rebuild the hill, so just be prepared and bring ear plugs or a noise machine. The office does offer ear plugs as well, but we were just fine and so tired that it didn’t bother us! Thanks for the hospitality!

This is the second year that we’ve stayed and I have nothing but good things to say about the property and the hosts. Always great experience, house is always spotless, the hosts are always responsive and the location for us was perfect. Thank you!

This was a beautiful home with lots of room for our group to spread out. We all had our own private space as well as several common areas to hang out together. The house was clean, spacious, and had great views. Thanks for the great stay!

We spent Valentine’s Day here, and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. Not only was the area beautifully aesthetic, but it also had some amazing features that made our stay even better. The breathtaking views were a highlight, and the bathroom was next-level with Bluetooth speakers for music and heated tiles that felt incredible after a shower. My girlfriend absolutely loved it, and it was the perfect getaway for some relaxation. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and escape for a bit, I highly recommend it!
