Family-friendly holiday rentals in High Peak District

Beautifuly furnished house ,perfect for a weekend with friends. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was well maintained & just what we needed to relax. Jo was a friedly & very helpful host ,I would recomend anyone to come & stay at this beautiful peaceful location . Thank you for a lovley weekend at you tranquil home .

Really nice cottage. Quite new so everything is fresh. The hot tub was fab, hot and ready to jump into as we arrived. plenty of space to park. Would stay again.

Absolutely loved ower little get away to Scott’s castle house the property was amazing had amazing facilities and the 4 poster bed was so comfy

showed us round helped us out with food places and restaurants when a message with them all on nice touch. place was really nice walked us threw everything with all the remotes and stuff really nice guy and everything was set out nice we will be back thanks

We stayed in the Manor for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with our relations from Australia. We had a fantastic stay! The rooms were a perfect size and could fit us all in for games and entertaining ourselves, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the crockery and glassware we needed, the children loved the games room and the hot tub and the house was beautifully adorned with Christmas decorations. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this characterful house.

Went away with some friends for the weekend and the Dairy couldn’t have been a more perfect spot for us! Clean and cosy and the hot tub was absolutely worth the extra cost. Nathan and Katie went above and beyond to help with anything we needed during our stay. They had great recommendations and allowed us to take a look around the farm and tell us about their lifestyle. We had a brill weekend relaxing in the hot tub, catching up and had a fantastic pub walk on the Sunday. We’d defo go again 😍 thank you!

We had a wonderful long weekend with the extended family. The hosts were so friendly and responsive with a welcome bundle that was a lovely addition. The place was so well equipped and a simply stunning lounge area. The local area had plenty to do and we enjoyed the sculpture park and Cannon Hall. We will certainly be back when next in Yorkshire. Really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for 6 of us. Really well organised. Very comfortable. Nice bathrooms. Large lounge. Good location for Town but quiet.

We had a great time in Lynsey’s ‘Little Barn’. It was both quirky and cosy and our kids were really excited about the mezzanine bedrooms and the table football. The barn’s in a stunning location and it was very quiet and peaceful. Lynsey was a responsive host but also respected our privacy. We would highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

Superb cottage in a fabulous location near Castleton. Great base to explore the beautiful countryside and walking distance to Castleton either down the main road or via the scenic route. Spotless interior and lovely touches in the bathroom and kitchen. Private location with spectacular views of Mam Tor and the surrounding hills.

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

We stayed at Lorraine's place for a month whilst we were waiting for completion on our new house. We found the house tidy & with everything we would need for our stay. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking/cleaning during your stay. The views at the back of the house & lovely! Our 3 year old enjoyed seeing the ponies everyday. Lorraine is a lovely host who is very responsive & happy to help. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable & cosy place to stay. 😊

Beautiful place to stay. Jane checked in with us that all was ok. Fresh linen, lots of space and comfortable. Cozy cottage and beautiful surroundings. Lots of extras such as fresh flowers, coffee and fizz. So many walks around area and fab pubs close by too. Super host and would definitely stay there again.

We visited to celebrate a big birthday and the house more than accommodated the 10 of us. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was a whole cupboard of board games. The hosts were welcoming and the house was stunning.

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

The accommodation is exactly as described, it's cosy, has incredible views and is surrounded by farm animals. The Goats are super friendly and loved having an apple in the morning and their heads scratched. We explored the surrounding country side and sat by the lake - it's very private and so peaceful. John is super friendly but leaves you too it, he answers messages if needed and was friendly when we bumped into him on a walk but other than that he leaves you be which I love. it's not pristine clean but that is clearly stated in the description, its in the middle of a farmers field but in the same breath it's not dirty, the furnishings, bathroom and kitchen were clean. it was a perfect weekend for us and we will definitely return.
