Our stay at Maarten's place was fantastic! The instructions for check-in were clear and easy to follow. Maarten and Ilse were amazing hosts, always responsive to our msgs. They ensured we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The house is nestled by a serene lakeside, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. It was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything, including a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, bikes, relaxing chairs by the lake. The thoughtful touches truly stood out, like the beautiful Christmas decorations with a charming tree and lovely lighting added to the festive atmosphere. We loved spotting the adorable Big duck family and squirrels near the property and enjoyed a wonderful bike ride through the forest trail, where we saw deers, horses and rabbits. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re so grateful for this experience and would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable family getaway.

Lovely place, in the middle of the countryside. You can enjoy hiking and cycling but also unwind completely!

It was a very nice house. The interior design was very cozy and harmonious. Everything worked. I had overlooked the fact that there was no hair dryer. S**t happens. Beautiful areas. We really liked Harlingen. All in all it was a very nice holiday. Beds were comfortable, too. If you needed anything (wood) it was on the terrace the next day. The house was the same as in the description. It was very clean. The hosts wrote to us a week before. And were quick to respond to questions. We have also received an exact description of how to get to the house. You got into the house and felt right at home. The kitchen is super equipped and it has everything you need. A delicious sweet surprise was also ready for us on the table. Irene and George are great hosts. We will definitely be back.

Cozy, clean and spacious apartment. Communication with Christa was smooth and friendly. We were very neatly received by Christa's father. Getting up with a view of the meadows was delightful!

Beautiful house and nice contact with Stan and Nicole. The house has steep stairs and high thresholds, which brought some challenge for our older members of the group. But still had a lovely stay

It was a perfect stay for a winter week around New Year's Eve. Wonderfully cozy with the kids playing games around the wood stove. And in the evening with a glass of wine on the sofa. Have breakfast in the morning with a view of the wide surroundings. Aagje was incredibly friendly and helpful. In conversations short but powerful, but we felt very welcome there. We can recommend a stay at Aagje's place to everyone!
