An ideal place if you are looking for peace and relaxation and want to explore the great nature around Lauwersmeer. It was really super nice!

What a beautiful place to be a few days. It was foggy every day so we didn't see much of the beautiful view,but a very nice place to retreat a few days and just have to do nothing at all. Beautiful, relaxed and comfortable.

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

if you could give more than 5 stars, we would have done that. What a wonderful stay we had. Everything feels luxurious and wonderful to enjoy underfloor heating after a winter walk and a well-equipped kitchen and lovely bed. Everything is there and also very clean. The location is within walking distance of the Wadden Sea and by bike you are also in Franeker and Harlingen, beautiful historic places. Definitely recommended.

Had a great stay in the small apartment. Very fully furnished. A wonderful location to completely relax and unwind. You should not be very afraid of spiders and mosquitoes :-)

Had a great stay over New Year's Eve in the loft. The cottage is very nice, ideal for two people and furnished with a lot of love for detail. As a welcome, there was a bottle of sparkling wine and a warm welcome, which made us feel right at home. Everything went smoothly, and we enjoyed the time very much. We will be happy to come back!

We came to get a breath of fresh air and that worked out well with wind force 7! It was extra nice to sit by the fireplace and warm up in the evening. Very nice to stay in the village with everything around the corner, yet nice and quiet on the outskirts of the village. Felt like a warm nest. Definitely a place to come back to again!

We had a lovely stay. Nice place by the water. The house was clean with lovely duvets. The 2 things we had questions about were quickly answered and resolved by the host. Definitely a place to get back.

Great location and top service! We at Royal Deck had a fantastic stay at this beautiful location. The area is wonderfully quiet and private, while everything is easily accessible. What you see on the pictures is exactly what you get: a neat, clean and well-maintained place. Patricia is very nice in communication and actively thinks along to make the stay as pleasant as possible, for example with cleaning and other amenities. This makes it extra pleasant, especially for longer stays. We definitely recommend this location and will be happy to come back here!

Beautiful house and nice contact with Stan and Nicole. The house has steep stairs and high thresholds, which brought some challenge for our older members of the group. But still had a lovely stay

We spent three nights in the house with 6 people over New Year's Eve. Everything was perfect and available as described. There was nothing missing. Check in and Check out was easy and flexible to handle via a lockbox. House was clean and cozy. If we ever move near Burum again, we'll be happy to come back. The communication was easy and the service great. Our cars were even thought of over New Year's Eve, so we were allowed to safely store them on the private property. Thank you!

The house is located in an amazing environment: small canals where you can observe frogs and herons, and a stable adjoining the garden. The wild geese flew over our breakfast on the first morning! Very nice house. And idyllic location: visits to Etam, Hoorn, Alkmaar, Petten and Amsterdam. In short, a very nice stay!

A fantastically beautiful monumental building with beautiful spacious rooms and bedrooms, very tastefully decorated and located in a beautiful location just outside the historic center of Leeuwarden. Cecelia is a very friendly hostess who takes care of everything down to the last detail and is quickly accessible and responds to questions. Thank you for this Cecilia! We had a very nice stay around New Year's Eve. The cottage is modernly decorated and has everything you'll need. Nice baby cot. There were also many extras such as coffee and tea. It is nicely located on the waterfront. Contact with Helma went very well and smoothly, she gave clear instructions on where to be and how to get in. We were also spontaneously offered a flexible arrival and departure time. Highly recommended!

The best neighborhood , a minute walk from downtown and a place that feels just like home! Timnette and her husband welcomed us to their beautiful home and very lovely people . We checked in early because we arrived early but enjoyed the walk straight after in the area. Plenty of restaurants around , supermarket is 5 minutes walking and home was fully equipped with everything. I wish we stayed for longer it was th perfect holiday home. Thank you for making our stay super memorable with my mother 🫶🏼

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

Very nice place for our short stay on Vlieland. close to restaurants and shops and cozy, even in cold and windy weather. Harry and Maria were very responsive and even passed by for New year's greetings.

We stayed for a short 2 days to visit the open day at Meppel NHLstenden with our daughter. It was a perfect place to stay, in the middle of the city where we could walk to everything. Convenient parking garage just a block away. Place looked just like in the pictures, very colorful and quirky.

What a wonderful stay. I was here around New Year's Eve, and the space was incredibly cozy and cozy. Small lights, candles and of course the wood stove! I went here for the silence, and it was quiet. I barely heard any fireworks. Lovely! Linda and Sjoerd are incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd love to come back!

We had a lovely stay. The place was private and had everything well-deserved rest for a few days. Bed was comfy and view was beautiful. The waterfront seating was our favorite. The surroundings are great too! We cycled over 80 kilometers. We definitely recommend this place 👍
