We arrived during storm Eowyn and Emma offered us the option to check in early, allowing us to travel in the light. The cottage was great and the gaming barn was a good addition too. The cats were very friendly ! All in all a great stay

We booked Dot’s place as a treat for our dad and it did not disappoint! A beautiful cabin with a peaceful and tranquil vibe, perfect for relaxing and being with nature. We loved the log burner and the hot tub was an extra bonus! Dot was a fab host, always friendly and responsive, helping with anything we needed. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family, and will return in the near future. Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing Stay at the Apartment with Jacuzzi! I had an unforgettable stay at this incredible apartment with a Jacuzzi. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the modern and spacious design. The highlight, of course, was the luxurious Jacuzzi – perfect for unwinding after a long day. It was impeccably clean, and the water temperature was just right, creating a relaxing oasis. The apartment was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the location was ideal, close to everything I needed. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to indulge in a relaxing, rejuvenating experience!

Exactly what we needed for extended family get together. Host was responsive and helpful. Everything was clean and well-supplied. Kitchen had good supply of equipment, hot tub was lovely and we had a nice walk up to castle hill. Good amount of parking; pub and off-licence in walking distance. Would be happy to rent it again.

Had a lovely New Years holiday with family (and dogs) and it did feel like a holiday. Hosts were very attentive (with hot tub, and asking about wi-fi) yet I think made sure to let us feel comfortable and give us our privacy. A 15 minute walk to shop, or 2 minute drive - we also visited Blackpool (30 minute drive). Clean beds, lovely living room and can't fault value for money, and would recommend. Thanks for having us!!

Great little stay with my brother and dad. The house was clean and perfectly located for walks and a stroll over to the local pub. Communication from the host was spot on and check in/out was seamless. Thanks Jeff!

We spent our Christmas in Sally's cottage and we could not have asked for a better experience. Greeted with Mince pies and shortbread from the local farm shop and also fresh bread was a welcome treat after our journey from Ireland. The cottage was perfect in everyway from the interior to the location. We had an amazing stay visiting family and we will definitely be back.

Lovely cosy little place , great views, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and there is a pub right down the road !

Lovely cottage in a beautiful village, Very private even when on the ground of the host's property. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short as we were in the middle of a big freeze : frozen ground, ice and very treacherous conditions to do any walking anywhere. Pot luck when you decide to visit the Yorkshire Dales in January but thankfully , the little cottage kept us warm even with - 2 temperatures day time and even lower at night time. The cottage is well equipped , a little gem surrounded by beautiful walks ( in normal weather conditions! )

Really enjoyed our stay, the cottage had everything we needed. Great communication from Jane and clear instructions. It was peaceful and the view was lovely. The kids liked the pull out tables, they came in handy. Would highly recommend, thank you.

absolutely wonderful stay for myself and family . easy to find,car parking for 4 cars on a private driveway. the house was perfect with 7 bedrooms ,large open plan kitchen living area ,2 large bathrooms and even a chill out area on the 3rd floor for the kids aged 4 to 13 to watch TV and play while us adults could have adult time. lovely little co op just a 5 minute walk so we could top up for food and drinks. Sara the host was so friendly and helpful would definitely recommend anyone staying here

Me and my partner brought my parents for a weekend in Marsden and Hywel’s place was perfect! Felt cost and at home the second we walked in. Everyone was catered for from music to books and board games. There’s nothing he doesn’t have in the kitchen to! The location is central and you have numerous walks on your doorstep. I contacted Hywel regarding something I thought I had left and he communicated back straight away. We can’t wait to come back :) x

An amazing host. Detailed correspondence before stay. Immaculate and homely house which was a lovely place to stay. Walking distance to Booths and the town centre. Would strongly recommend. The only issue could be if you struggle with stairs as they are quite steep and narrow.

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

Lovely welcoming and clean cottage. Hosts on site for any difficulties. Great for our hen weekend. Pool was warm and each cottage has an allocated time so that meant we were the only ones in there. Thinking of booking again for a soon to be significant birthday

Me and my friends had a lovely time. There were lots of little touches that made it amazing and so homely. The location was perfect as it was down a few slopes/steps and you were in town. Holmefirth itself is beautiful and we are definitely coming back and will definitely stay in Eider Cottage again. I always had quick responses from the hosts leading up to my stay and whilst I was there. Thank you so so much

Visited Lower Gill Farmhouse as part of my mum's 70th Birthday celebrations. 12 of us ranging in age from 5 to 75! All rooms were a great size, was excellent having 3 en-suite rooms along with a very large main bathroom and a downstairs toilet. The Kitchen was lovely, everything we needed and more - might have been nice to have tea/coffee and a little milk left for when we arrived after a long drive but luckily our tesco delivery arrived early so this wasn't too much of a problem. The living room had 3 good size sofas so we could all relax in front of the log burner. We made full use of the pool, games room, football pitch and tennis courts - a great addition especially for the kids and 4 hours allocation each day was perfect. Our dogs had a ball too - lots of places for them to run and play. Even in January we managed to spend lots of time outside and the little stream at the back of the cottaqe was wonderful. Great response from our host too, even though she was on holiday herself.

A beautiful cottage in an amazing area. we walked most days and did bot require the car all that much. we walkedto 4 local villages...visiting The Ablingdon Arms at Beckley on a few occasions. Our doggo was super happy in the cottage as were we! Cosy nights watching TV in the living room to big breakfasts around the dining table...and yhe odd midday nap. There has been alot of thought put into this place by the owners and it shows!
