Shane and Craig have a beautiful cozy cabin nestled in a private setting. They went above and beyond with local recommendations and tips for a wonderful stay! The cabin is well stocked, with good dishes and silverware, really feels like you are in your own vacation home. They will remind you to bring firewood as there is no central heating in the cabin, you’ll want to do that in the winter! Overall a wonderful place and would love to return.

What a special place! A perfect and peaceful getaway in an absolutely stunning location. Loved how beautifully the house was designed to feature the surrounding forest, and Bob’s interior design choices are absolutely inspiring. I personally loved how cozy and comfortable the space was, all of the windows and skylights, using the hot tub with the view out towards the tree line throughout my stay, and cooking meals in the kitchen. Bob was friendly and communicative throughout! Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Bob!

It's a lovely home. Very charming, very peaceful. Good privacy. The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and all the instructions were easy to follow. The fireplace, hot tub, koi pond, floor plan, and overall peaceful quality are the highlights here. The critiques I have for this place are: 1. the bed in the master bedroom is a queen at largest and the mattress was too firm for our liking. 2. The kitchen appliances and utensils had not been cleaned very well and I hate to say that because I know a cleaning crew had been there before our stay (I would give them the benefit of the doubt on this topic though, because that was not reflective of the rest of the house which was very nicely set up and clean for our stay). Overall, we had a great stay.

Tree House adventure! Such a cute little house in the middle of the most amazing trees and nature. House was a little cold but made snuggling that much more fun. Visited a local brewery and had breakfast at Hole in the wall all super close and so much fun.

My husband, our “dog-daughter”, and I had the most beautiful holiday stay at Ryan and James’ stunning home. I cannot recommend their home enough. It was beyond perfect for our trip and we enjoyed the tranquility, views, and peacefulness so much. Thank you so much! We will absolutely be looking forward to visiting again!

Our group of four enjoyed our stay at the Black Sheep. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and watching movies on the big screen. We especially appreciated having robes for getting in and out of the hot tub in the wintery air! The downstairs is a bit of a quirky layout, but the large great room upstairs was a comfortable space for our group of four and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We were unable to use the grill or enjoy the large deck during our stay but would definitely enjoy that as well in warmer weather. We loved looking out on the trees off the deck, and we found the neighbors to be friendly as well. Communication with the hosts was easy and they were responsive throughout our stay. Tip: pick up some firewood before you arrive to enjoy the fireplace.

We felt so comfortable here! Very relaxing and peaceful. We loved hiking and coming back to the house for hot tubs. The bed was very comfortable. Loved just hanging out in the house.

Very charming cottage. Love the knotty pine walls and ceiling, a true vintage cabin, with everything you need including a washer and dryer. It’s nestled in the trees, surrounded by large moss covered rocks. The beds are very comfortable, I slept like a stone. A great place to catch up on your sleep, or just sit and drink coffee. There’s a nice desk and WiFi to do a bit of work.

Cozy house, great little mountain town. Would stay again!

Defne's cabin was peaceful, cozy, and everything we could have dreamed of and more for a winter getaway! The hosts were kind, helpful, and responsive and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

Feels wonderfully isolated despite being close to town. I greatly enjoyed sitting in the back listening to the stream and the birds and watching the sun filter through the trees. Great places for a little creative getaway in the mountains.

We’d give this place 6 stars if we could. My partner and I visited for a long weekend and had such a wonderful time. The hosts were responsive and communicative. The house is so thoughtfully decorated and is equipped with things we didn’t even know we needed. The nearby hiking is great, we found some excellent restaurants in the area, and the hot tub under the stars was a highlight of our stay. We’ll definitely be returning!

Lovely place to stay. The deck is a perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. Spacious bathroom, and very comfortable bed.

We were looking for a place that was dog friendly, private and peaceful , in a scenic area and fun for our family of 4. Sweet Creek delivered. We wish we could have stayed longer but the one night we were there was special for our family and Cookie was a super gracious host. Thanks.

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

Thora's place was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for in a quick getaway with the kids. The access to the river is absolutely the best part of the stay since we didn't have to leave the property at all. The water's are calm and the fact that there are umbrellas on the beach, and even a kayak to use, was the icing on the cake. EV charging was key and it made the whole round trip from the city just that much more easy.

Even with rain the whole time, it was beautiful. The binoculars allowed me to pick out the seal heads among the flocks of birds chasing schools of fish in the water, and fog creeping over Inverness Ridge gave everything a mystical tinge. Inside was warm and cozy, the heated bathroom floors were always a welcome surprise, and the bed was very comfortable. Just what I needed!

The pictures do not give this place justice. Absolutely amazing and just what we needed. I was so happy there wasn't a TV to distract us the the beauty around and the cozy cabin. I highly recommend and can't wait to rebook this place.

Highly recommended / 5 stars! Lovely, cozy, well-appointed cabin in the woods yet a 4 minute drive / 20 minute walk into the heart of Guerneville. The cabin feels peaceful and private -- like you're in a treehouse amid the forest -- but it's super easy to get to the restaurants, bars and more of the adorable town of Guerneville. The place was spotless, warm and well-appointed, and Jessica was super friendly and communicative. It was too cold in late December to make use of the spacious deck, but I imagine that in other seasons, it would be a great place to entertain or enjoy meals and time in the beautiful surroundings. Thanks Jessica for the wonderful stay!

Inverness is absolutely charming, beautiful and secluded, and this home is a classic example of the area. Absolutely loved our stay!!

Austin's place was exactly what we were looking for; a modern cozy retreat in the woods. The cabin is wonderful and filled with thoughtful touches! The wood stove makes the cabin so cozy and the hot tub under the stars on a cool night is absolute perfection! Austin was incredibly responsive and quick to provide clarity and find a solution to a very minor inconvenience during our stay. Would love nothing more than to stay again in the future!

This was just a wonderful experience staying in this cabin on the river in the midst of beautiful redwoods. JENNIFER was just a wonderful host, anytime we had a question she got back to us quickly. It’s a great location with a couple restaurants within walking distance and wonderful small little villages and towns not too far away by car. If you’re looking to get away, this is an incredible value.

Our stay at this cottage was truly magical. It is a retreat amidst the redwoods with a mystical, serene feeling that permeates the entire house. The house itself is cozy and extremely comfortable, with ample sleeping space and everything you could need for your stay. Even in winter, there is so much to do in the surrounding area including walks, hikes, dinner in nearby guerneville, a quick trip over towards the coast for shopping and stunning California coastline views. I'm already looking ahead to book my next stay at Perjol's cottage - cant wait to return.
