Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Hayden Island

The place was fantastic in all aspects, clean, and Selah is wonderful. The home is warm and comfortable and we traveled with our dogs so it was a plus to have a secluded space. Very quiet neighborhood. Can’t wait to stay here again when we visit our family.

The Art House perfectly met our needs. From the cozy fireplace to the comfy beds, we felt right at home on this mother-daughter time away. Leah was very responsive and provided a clear balance of privacy and friendliness -- respecting our time alone but inviting us to stop by to say hello should we choose :) We're looking forward to returning with the rest of the family.

Well laid out, lovely space. Room for lots of people. Lovely kitchen. Easy access to downtown (walking distance). Good outdoor space for kids to play. I definitely recommend this place. You can't beat it for the price.

We cannot say enough about our amazing stay in Bill’s home. We stayed there for just over 5 weeks while in transition for our move. bill’s home is perfectly located with nearby access to the I-5 and within walking distance of uptown village and downtown Vancouver, Washington. This home is beautiful and has all the amenities you will need. The backyard is a great place to relax as well. We were especially thankful that they were dog friendly and accommodated our pups. Bill and his rental manager, Jeremy, are very friendly and responsive. They really made us feel welcome and at home. We genuinely could not have asked for a better place to stay and highly recommend you rent here as well.

We had a great stay at Damon's place. Everything was exactly as described and we'd happily return!

Eugenia is quick to respond with tips and info about her neighborhood and the check-in process was seamless. Her place is filled with her various mediums of art and is drenched in color and eye-candy on every wall. The rooms are large and comfortable and all within walking distance of cute coffee shops and restaurants on Broadway. This was a very nice stay for a quick two-day vacation.

I am so thankful for the time we spent at Jason’s house. It was in every sense of the word a Home away from Home. Jason was a very responsive and gracious host. I would stay again anytime!

I stayed a month+ with Mindee and I have ZERO regrets! The space was perfect for me and the cats, the kitchen was well-sized for the space and had the things I needed. The axe throwing was a ton of fun and Mindee and her family are incredibly welcoming and friendly. If I'm ever in need of a place to stay in Vancouver again I know where I'm going. Perfect location, within walking distance of food, coffee, drinks, groceries, and a dispensary.

Mary’s place was so fun. The mini horse walking around, the full size horses were friendly, the pool in the dining area, the peaceful garden area… it was idyllic for me and my child. We were able to keep my dog in the outdoor kennel/run while we were away during the day, too, which was great. My kid fed carrots to the horses and wandered around finding the ducks and chickens, barn cats, and dogs. My dog is pretty chill and has been around horses, and she also had the best time meeting the animals and running and running. The pool is a whole refreshing experience. Mary is very welcoming and laid back, inviting us to explore and meet all the animals, and also gave us our space. This would also be a fabulous place to retreat with a few good books (the backyard and sitting hammock were my fave spots) or if necessary, work for a few days, which I will keep in mind for myself!

Incredible stay all around. Amazing hosts. Location was perfect - felt like we were in the middle of everything, but so quant and quiet in the trees. Would definitely recommend and love to stay again!

Julie was a generous host. It was a peaceful place for my family to stay and easy for our local family to come for meals and visit. Every morning we had coffee on the large private deck. We sat on the deck some evenings and enjoyed the fresh air and complete lack of mosquitoes. The two full bathrooms for the five of us were essential. We booked this house to have a great place to stay-in and have local family over but it was also close to many things in Portland. The zoo and the science museum were two of them. Julie was responsive to requests and just a very kind person.

Scott’s BNB is absolutely gorgeous and worth every dollar. He is an exceptional host and treated my girlfriend and I to a much needed, relaxing night. Communication was on point and his family is more than willing to help if he is unavailable. The guest house is fairly close to the main house but there was 0 issues related (even if I was feeling that we were too loud for him). He respected our privacy beyond expectation and was extremely accommodating for us. I highly recommend booking with Scott and I know that I’ll be booking again in the future!

Excellent host and beautiful home. Especially the back outside area. Only issue was the Sonos speakers be able to connect for music. Great recommendations and directions to walk about.

I had an amazing stay at Karen & Eric’s place! The property was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Julie is nothing short of amazing, a super host who is proactive, attentive, communicative and friendly. We had a great stay for over two weeks at Julie’s place and we felt right at home. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and quiet. We will undoubtedly recommend Julie’s place to our friends and family. A 1000000%.

This is a lovely and comfortable place to stay. The beds were both very clean and easy to sleep in. The kitchen had many necessary appliances and gadgets. Our cat was very happy. He had many windows to gaze out of and many squirrels to observe.

This was a wonderful nightly retreat after long days at St Vincent with a hospitalized loved one. Cute & cozy with a definite PNW charm, I felt immediately at home here. Kate and William were helpful, flexible, and supportive which made a stressful time so much easier to cope with. The neighborhood is quiet, with quick easy access to St Vincent hospital, groceries, and dining options. Excellent value, and I would return here again without hesitation.

Diane and Michael were excellent hosts. We felt right at home and appreciated the use of their hot tub. It isn't the same as staying downtown, but this was perfect for us because we were looking for a place outside of the city where we could relax away from the hubbub, but still close enough that we drove to Powells and visited one of our favorite Burmese restaurants. We will definitely stay here again because it is what we look for in a short vacation.

We loved Melody’s cute space! It was exactly as described. The bed was extremely comfy. Walking distance to two wonderful coffee shops and very close to countless restaraunts, bars, etc. It was also perfect for my dog which I really appreciated. Very quaint space. Melody was very helpful; even letting us borrow a charger as we had forgotten ours. Would definitely recommend!!

This is where my US adventure kicked off. I grabbed my rental car at the airport and zoomed straight to my place. It's like, ten minutes to everything—my home, downtown, you name it. The apartment is super stylish, way better for living in than any fancy hotel. There's tons of stuff to buy nearby, and even late-night Safeway runs feel safe. My landlords are the best, always happy to help with anything. If my friends ever visit Portland, this is where I'd send them.
