This place is incredible! We felt like kids again using the slides and swings. The hosts were so lovely, they’ve provided everything you could think of to enjoy the place, even in the rain. We absolutely loved it, couldn’t recommend the place enough!

We were very busy with family events during our stay so we didn't really get the full beach/Bach experience. We did love our morning beachcombing and would love to stay there again for longer especially in summer. Recommended for that classic kiwi Bach holiday!

The home and its amenities were wonderful. The main living area was welcoming and pleasantly pleasing. The outdoor deck with ocean view and sounds was fantastic. The spa on the front deck felt great after an active day. The kitchen was well-supplied and nicely appointed. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

Had a wonderful stay in the marvelous cabin with seaview and walking distance to the beach. The interiour is absolutely stunning, besser are comfortable and the fully staffed kitchen , including sharp (!) knives and a fantastic coffee machine an absolute bonus! In total: we loved it!

Rosandra Retreat 2 - Luxury unit

Unit 2 at Rosandra retreat is a HUGE 1bdr unit attached to an even bigger private residence. It has a second bed in the enormous lounge, a full size kitchen and great bathroom. Off st parking outsjde the unit and beautifully developed and presented grounds. Swimming pool, tennis court, cattle to view out the window. Friendly cats. A high quality accommodation on a pretty 5 acre block about 6-7 mins from town. Would book again.

We really enjoyed staying at Tiffany’s cottage. The cottage is extremely clean and tidy, decorated with beautiful flowers freshly picked from Tiffany’s flower farm, with the serene view of the farm from the deck. It rained half of the time during our stay there but the cottage stayed cozy and warm. The location is close to Nee Plymouth city and a few minutes drive away from the local beaches. It’s also very close to Pukeiti and Mangorei Track Trailhead going up Taranaki. Tiffany is very friendly and responsive, helping us finding the cool local spots and organic groceries and making sure our stay was comfortable. We had a great holiday experience despite the weather and we look forward to come back again in the future 🌼🌸

A truly wonderful home to stay in…..easily accommodated our family of four adults and two children. The views are spectacular and an easy walk down to the beach and playground. The distance from Whanganui City is a quick 10 minute drive away…and so much to do and see in Whanganui and adjoining area. Highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay at Rob's place. It was quiet, private and cosy with good kitchen amenities and pantry staples, a comfy bed and enough space to gather in the loungeroom for a bit of TV watching. Rob was a very kind host and offered thd use of their clothes dryer if needed due to the weather forecast being a bit wet. Rob gave us some great reccommendations for places to visit and eat. His daughter brought us freshly picked fejoas from their tree which was lovely. Thanks for having us, Rob.

Heinrich and Nicayla were lovely hosts. They were understanding and adaptable to our needs and making sure we were comfortable. The home has beautiful views of the sea and all the comforts including two living areas. They offered thoughtful snacks, appliances and suggested. The space was clean, beautifully presented with high end and well kept furniture, bedding and carpets making it feel luxurious.

Such a lovely place right IN the dunes. Our kids loved the location and played endlessly in the sand dunes. The walk to and on the beach was beautiful, avoiding the nesting birds. The house was very well stocked and we felt completely at home. Very comfy beds, lovely bathroom and kitchen. Spacious but cosy. We loved it all.

My sister's & I enjoyed our stay at Robyn's. It is a real time capsule & quite special as well as being homely & very welcoming. Nicely situated for Pukekura Park & town & beautiful views of the mountain. One thing to be aware of is that there's no WiFi, not that it bothered us. Definitely an eclectic cottage!

We loved our few days at Grace’s place. It was perfect for our family of four and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and was very handy having a washing machine and dryer! The 4 Square and cafes are just a 2 minute walk away and just a 5 minute walk down to the beach. Ōakura is such a beautiful village, we’ll definitely be coming back!

Thanks Debbie for a great stay. Location is perfect, quiet and away from the main roads, but still close enough to all the local amenities, shops, etc. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Loved that there is a washing machine available to use.

The beach house if very nice and homey. We are a family of 7 and we were able to cook and relax the only thing I can suggest is to put some lights on the terrace area specially if the guests are having dinner on it. But overall if was a good experience.

Our group of 10 loved every minute of our stay here. We did not want to go home..such a beautiful location, very peaceful and private. The house had plenty of room, with the lounge, deck and dining area being our favourite spots. The whole property made you feel right at home and plenty of space for chilling, playing ganes or heading for a swim. We can't wait to stay there again. Thanks for a great experience Lizzy
