Cottage holiday rentals in Havelock North

We had a great stay, the cottage was lovely and the surrounding property beautiful. We were within easy distance for everything we wanted to do.

While perfectly private and set amongst beautiful countryside the place was a great base for exploring Hawkes Bay without being too far from anything— and with a great spa and sauna to relax in after a long day! Cam provided us with greens and herbs from the garden and a fantastically bright and sunny demeanor despite the rainy weather— making a memorable experience for our family we hope to repeat in the near future.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The cottage was modern and had everything we needed, the outlook was just beautiful and we were so close to everything in town. Even though it rained most of our visit, we still enjoyed every second of our stay. We LOVED being able to get up close with the farm animals, our 6 year old had a blast! 10/10 and highly recommend to stay here. Hopefully we’ll be able to visit again from our next visit from Australia ❤️

It was a paradise close to Napier. If you prefer the silence and the nature and you appriciate to have fresh vegetable from the garden and fresh eggs from the chicken next door than you are 100 % at the right place. If you are keen in yoga you have your own cottage for the exercise. For us it was just a dream.

Great little house, spotless, superb location close to waterfront, restaurants and cafes. Love it!

The cottage is in beautiful countryside but within easy reach of Havelock North. It is very well equipped and furnished and has a very comfortable bed. We thoroughly recommend it and would like to stay there again on our next trip to see family in NZ

Great place for our family to stay. So close to the beach and shops. Nice and clean and also very quiet at night.

Great stay, very clean and had everything we needed - fully equip kitchen, comfy beds, aircon in the main living area, quiet and peaceful but only 15-20min from the town. Compared to other places we have stayed in Hastings for similar prices, this airbnb was much better value.

Quail cottage is a lovely spot, set amongst grape vines, fruit trees, and flowers. The cottage is very modern and clean but also has character, quality furnishings. There are two decks to sit on and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, garden and orchard views. Although it's very quiet and secluded, it's only 10-15 mins drive to Hastings, Havelock North or Te Awanga. A great combo of modern amenities and character.

Booked for a family member who was blown away with how amazing it was. Absolutely stunning, peaceful and beautiful a true slice of paradise. Close enough to town if needed to pop out and get anything , but further enough away to feel fully surrounded by nature.

We really enjoyed John and Leonis space. The living area is comfortable and it’s nice to have your own ensuite.

Lovely, quiet cottage in a beautiful location amongst the apple orchard. Very well equipped kitchen - appliances and basics such as butter/spreads, lovely morning sun with outdoor furniture/bean bags. Only wish we had spent more time there apart from sleeping! My only suggestion would be for some clearer instructions - it was dark when we arrived (10pm) so it took us a little while to find. I’m sure it would have been easier in daylight though!

We have stayed at Max's Place a number of times before and each time has been great! Belinda and Phil are lovely hosts, always welcoming but respecting your privacy at the same time. It's a great location and has all the amentities you need, including comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and lovely outside area. Great additional touches such as Nespresso machine and coffee, eggs provided, which were really appreciated. Highly recommended to all!

Thoroughly recommended. Reminiscent of a family bach but with better facilities and greater comfort. We hope we can return. Jane was a truly helpful host by letting us know about an upcoming public event and giving us the option of changing our minds about coming. We didn’t, but it was great to be forewarned.

Second time I’ve stayed at Bull in the Vines. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet retreat but still be only a short drive from activities. Will be booking again!
