Great place to enjoy a winter cottage. From the decor to the hot tub, everything was perfect. Host was also very responsive and quick to troubleshoot any questions.

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Our family had a great stay at Martin’s place over the holidays - we took full advantage of the hot tub, sauna and endless games which are huge bonuses to the property! Everything was as described in the listing and when we did have questions or concerns Martin was quick to respond and provide us with a solution. Would definitely stay again.

Kelly’s place is well worth every penny. Beautiful river and huge property with a great fire pit and multiple paddle boats. Also well equipped inside with everything you need and very well kept. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful long weekend here. The environment is fantastic, and my friend and I felt very comfortable staying in the house for two days. Even though we encountered a snowstorm, we were able to relax comfortably in the house. I highly recommend the hot tub; it was amazing to enjoy the snowy scenery while sipping on a warm drink. Most importantly, the host was very thoughtful and responsible. Not only did they treat us to a bottle of white wine, but they also promptly fixed the hot tub the next day when it wasn't heating up properly. I feel that booking this house was excellent value for the money!"

We had a fantastic stay with our kids while in town for our wedding! Hilary was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during such a special time. She was friendly, prompt, and answered all our questions quickly, which made the stay stress-free. The space was perfect for our family, with thoughtful touches that made it easy and comfortable for us and our little ones (like setting up a cot and having a pack and play available to use). We’re so grateful for their hospitality and would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially families. Thank you for helping make our wedding trip unforgettable! Doreen and Derek were excellent hosts. They were warm, friendly and receptive. The place was clean, nicely furnished and the kitchen had all necessary amenities. The neighbourhood was quiet and beautiful. We would like to visit the place again if the opportunity arises.

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful experience staying with Simona and her husband! From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with open arms. Their house is absolutely stunning—spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful details everywhere you look. The natural lighting is fantastic, and the view from the big windows overlooking the lake truly made our trip special. Simona and her husband went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Her husband even cleared a path for us to head out ice fishing on the lake next door! He was so kind to check in on us while we were out there, and when it was time to leave, our car wouldn’t start. Thankfully, Simona and her husband jumped right in to help us out. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts!

Doris was a great host, she made us feel like home and so comfortable specially in thanksgiving time. She was so responsive and answered all our questions, she even let us to check out two hours after normal check out time. Overall very clean, perfect location, nice host and peaceful area, worth every dollar spent. :) would love to go back again with my family this time.

Clean, friendly, large space for just the two of us. We would definitely book this place again, kitchen had everything we needed, and we were actually snowed in for our entire stay. Still a great time!

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! This was our 4th time coming back, and it never disappoints. The snowshoe trails are fantastic, offering great adventures right outside the door. We especially enjoyed the outdoor winter fires – a perfect way to unwind after a day in the snow. The cabin itself is so warm and inviting, truly the ideal spot for a cozy winter getaway. Tammy and Donna are such wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Can’t wait for our next visit!

My partner and I had a wonderful long weekend at Krista's bunkie. It was so warm and cozy, a perfect place to hunker down over a snow stormy weekend. Krista was very friendly and responsive, she reached out a couple times throughout our stay to ensure all was well and to see if we needed anything. The bunkie is fully stocked with all the essentials you'd need(paper towels,Kleenex,salt,pepper,olive oil etc.)and is super homey. Overall, super peaceful and relaxing stay- Highly recommend!

Best cabin-in-the-woods weekend ever! Perfect spot for hiking, kayaking, movie watching, and board games. Bill went above and beyond to make the trip go smoothly.

My partner and I spent 2 nights at The Cabin By The Stream in -5C weather. The cabin was lovely and cozy and peaceful - perfect for a brief escape from hectic city living. John was a thoughtful, courteous and communicative host. We would highly recommend a stay!

Johnny was an amazing host. Stayed for two nights for our Anniversary and we are already planning our return. Johnny was very responsive, thoughtful, kind and very accommodating. He even included a handmade gift knowing it was our anniversary. The Nespresso was definitely a nice touch and we just had to get one of the pod holders for our Nespresso machine at home, also made by Johnny. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and the cabin was quite cozy. Thank you Johnny for your kindness and flexibility. Looking forward to our next stay.

Such a peaceful, beautiful location hosted by very friendly, easy-going people. We enjoyed the setting in amongst the trees with open sky views and were blessed with a clear sky on our second night to see the magical array of stars! We will definitely be back!
