Holiday rentals with beach access in Hauraki District

The property has clearly been recently refurbished- all to a very high standard of design and finish. if anything the reality exceeds the photos. Everything spotless. Great location - in close proximity to beach and short walk into town. Quite neighbourhood with easy parking. The property is very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Communication with Rebecca was excellent. We would gladly return.

Wonderful place to stay in Whangamata! Verena is a fantastic host, we felt so at home and got the warmest welcome!! Beautiful beach just a block away and so easy to walk to town for shops, restaurants, etc. The place was so clean and we were very comfortable for our 6 night stay. Highly recommend this location, easy driving to get to Hot Water beach, Hauraki bike trail, and other Coromandel Peninsula attractions.

From the moment we got there the hosts made us feel right at home. My kids had a blast with the games and toys. We went for a quiet kayak with the swans in the morning, which really made it special.

The access right on the beach was delightful for a surfer family like us! And 5mn walk to the Main Street with the shops and restaurants. The best location!!

Our family had an amazing time and it was the perfect location on the beach for the kids to spend time when they wanted and not have to drive. It was walkable to the town where you could find all the shops, restaurants and grocery that you needed. It was quiet and clean and had an amazing view. We were able to meet the owners who were amazing and helpful as well. Would recommend it time and time again!

Wow.... what a place!!! Everything was super smooth, clean and spacious. Bruce was the perfect host and I can't thank him enough.

We loved Vernon's place. Comfortable and well equipped. The fridge was full of goodies and much appreciated after a long drive. All the worktop space in the bathroom was great, plenty of room for sponge bags and toiletries. The beach was close by and we found some lovely shells. Yes the drive is steep but we managed to reverse up it in a small hatchback. Would definitely be happy to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Waihi beach, a beautiful well appointed home. Super central location close to shops and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed some cold drinks in the evening on the deck. And the kids enjoyed riding their bikes and scooters on the concrete driveway. Check in and out was super easy. Graeme and Judith were great at communicating with us throughout. Would absolutely stay again.

A great kiwi bach, humble but perfect for our family, all very clean and comfortable, nice garden/grounds, had all we needed for our 4 night stay. Communication was excellent also.

A lovely spot to stay on a very busy weekend. Walking distance to the beach and close to the action when we wanted it to be. Clean and tidy and good amenities. Good communication and clear instructions helped a lot.

A beautiful place to stay, comfortable, Cheryl was a responsive host, leant us beach/ camp chairs for our visit. The photos don't do the house or surroundings justice, it's a wonderful place to stay. Great neighbourhood, the view of the bay changes all the time , with the tide and the weather, my favourite time of day was at the top of the tide when there was no wind and the bay was like a mirror. Lots to explore , beaches, waterfalls, swimming holes, thermal pools, mountains, gorges. We want to return in 2026, still so many places to explore.

Beautifully presented and lots to do nearby. All worked as it should and the WiFi was VERY fast. House and garden looked as though they had been designed by professionals or very talented amateurs. We loved staying in the Blue Bach Robin

Cally is an excellent host with clear communication for the duration of our stay, the house was immaculate and very comfortable, definitely your home away from home, the views from the lounge are superb looking out over the water and catching the amazing sunsets, I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family, and hopefully I'll be back one day 😊

The best place we’ve stayed in NZ (and we’ve stayed in a lot of places over our 20yrs of visiting!). Fantastic location (3min walk to the beach); high end property (great kitchen, bathrooms, lovely linen and towels), multiple outside seating areas; spa and pool; super friendly and responsive host. Pretty much perfect!

Anna is a great host . Easy and friendly communication , clear instructions , easy access . The location is wonderful with great views . The home is comfortable and laid out well for families or friend groups . Plenty of parking on site and in the street . Amenities were good and the place was spotless . Very peaceful location . We are a family of adult couples and found Nautilus House perfect for our stay .
