Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hartland

Nicole is very understanding and super responsive. I would recommend her place to anyone trying to ski or snowboard at Okemo or Killington.

Our stay at Dennis' home was one of the best I've ever had with AirBnB! When we arrived, I felt as if I had walked in to my own home! The way that Dennis prepared the rooms with towels laid out really felt full-service. We appreciated how Dennis was kind enough to leave us snacks and coffee, as well as cabinets fully furnished with utensils, plates, spices etc. Dennis even pre-built a fire in the wood furnace prior to our check-in. Everything was in tip-top shape and it warmed our hearts. The hot-tub especially! I would highly recommend this stay for anyone who will be visiting the Rutland area! Thanks Dennis!

Dana's house is a gem! We loved our stay, the accommodation is very welcoming, and we immediately felt at home. It is beautifully decorated and set in a stunning natural environment. We hope to return someday!

Had a fantastic time staying at this house on a winter weekend. It’s on a quiet, pretty road with a short drive to skiing resorts and restaurants/shops in Winhall and Manchester. The house was very clean and was as advertised (if anything, the pictures in the listing don’t do justice to how spacious/nice the downstairs area is). Lucy communicated extremely well and was super responsive.

We really enjoyed our 'short-term' (1 month LOL) rental! Everything was as expected from the reviews and photos. Home has everything you need to actually feel at home. Gigantic fireplace was the star of the show, and wood all split and stacked and ready outside the nearest door was appreciated. Property is remote which is good in that it is private and there's access to hiking trails (or ski-touring if enough snow, which there was during my stay). A mile or so down to the reservoir. It is a long drive to... anything, with a few miles of dirt/mud road to navigate, which is no problem unless/until there's a storm. Just be ready with the right type of vehicle for snow or mud as it is a hill. There's equipment for grilling over the fire, which I found to be a fun and better option for my steaks which were delicious. Todd checked in a few times, answered questions very promptly at all times in the process, and made some special accommodations for us. Highly recommend this property!

Can't say enough good thing about this property - the location (7 min drive from Stratton Mountain), private and surrounded by woods, and beautifully maintained. House was very well laid out - cozy, lots of different sitting areas, two wood burning fireplaces, kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub was well maintained and had a great view. The host was super responsive and very friendly. Would 100% stay here again!

Our stay at Upper Dipper was fantastic and we cannot wait to go back. Jim was so helpful and responsive before, during and after our stay. The house is well appointed, clean and very cozy. Each bedroom is spacious and feels like a little escape. The location cannot be beat. And, the hot tub makes it a perfect Apres house! Thank you, Jim, for a wonderful stay!

Laurie and Bill are wonderful hosts! The apartment is cozy and clean and the yard/land is goregous. Laurie and Bill are kind, respectful and went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. The banana bread was delicious and they even made some homemade treats for my pup, Daisy! We'd love to come back when the weather is warmer. There's so many hiking trails near by and even a rock climbing area just miles down the road in Rumeny. This was a the peaceful trip that I was hoping for 😀

We loved staying here with our dog. The location was perfect for our skiing in Killington. It was very dog friendly and will definitely be coming back!

The house is great to stay with a family of 4-5 right near Okemo Ski Resort, 8-9 minutes drive to the slopes. The place is very beautiful, private, warm, clean and cozy, offers enough space for a wonderful stay. Everything was as described, and the cleanliness exceeds expectations! Michael was a great host, proactive and provided all the instructions in advance, as well as answered all our questions. Great location, quality and price make it a good alternative to nearby hotels that get overpriced in high season. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much, and we highly recommend this place!

I’m so glad I booked with Doc! Doc was one of my all time best host so far on AirBNB! Very friendly, helpful and caring! I brought my cousin and his friend and he welcomed us all with open heart. The location is awesome if you’re an outside enthusiast. Would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning soon! Must place if you ski at Stratton. There is also EV charging which is super helpful as the ones on Stratton are always take.

Our stay in Vermont was one of the best vacation experiences we’ve had. My husband and I spent most of our time at the Airbnb because the views of the fall foliage right in the front yard were breathtaking. We didn’t feel the need to venture far, as nature’s beauty was right there with us. A big thanks to Jerry and Bonnie for being such wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature.

We had a beautiful time as Roberts home is so peaceful with the incredible winter views! It was a frigid weekend so unfortunately we couldn’t really enjoy the hot tub even though we did venture in it for a quick 15 minutes . Do not recommend doing this in negative wind chill! The apartment had everything we needed for a cozy stay. Robert met us at the parking area and gave us a great recommendation for dinner - the Grafton Inn Barn Pub restaurant was so quaint in a an old barn with a fire going in their two story fireplace. What a treat also to learn what an incredible glass blowing artist Robert is. We visited his gallery workshop and watched him and his assistants create glass bowls and purchased a colorful glass pumpkin and an ornament. We loo forward to our next visit when we can see the farm and animals in full bloom!

Brigid’s place is exactly what we were looking for. The views of the mountains and meadows is something special. If you’re looking for a peaceful rustic Vermont getaway, it doesn’t get better than this. Our dog Joy loved the freedom of roaming the 27 acres of fields.

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is a beautiful piece of art and felt like we were truly in the middle of the woods. Everything was spotless and incredibly well-equipped. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and slow down. Additionally, it’s only 15 minutes from Killington, making it an excellent choice if you’re looking to go skiing. Thank you so much!

My partner and I spent a long weekend at the Cabin & we are actually hoping to come back in the Fall. The cabin felt loved and lived in. I was blown away at how well stocked the kitchen was, as someone that loves to cook (cooked all of our meals there) it was really a treat to not have to figure out how to make due with one busted up pan as is the case at so many other Airbnbs. The wood stove was a delight to have and kept us sufficiently warm as we could not figure out how to get the wall heater on try as we might. We only had to use the generator for our first night, after that we had plenty of solar power the next couple of days. Because of the amount of snow we didn't leave the cabin at all except to traipse about in the woods ( follow the trail behind the cabin down to the river!) We arrived at night and the cabin is almost impossible to see in the dark so definitely heed advice on arriving during the day time. Can't wait to to come back!

What a lovely little cabin! It had everything I needed. I especially appreciated the wood stove. The host was awesome, taking the initiative to reach out before I arrived to make sure I had all the information I needed, and reaching out again to make sure I got in ok. Definitely print out or write down the directions for getting here, West Jamaica is extremely rural and has basically no cell service. I will come back again for sure!

We *LOVED* our time in the Cabin in the Woods. Sondra and Daniel were very responsive in responding to questions about the property. The layout of the cabin was sensible and comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. We would love to go back! The cabin location is perfect and is sweet and romantic. Sondra and Daniel have thought through every detail. Thanks again for a splendid vacation spot!

We recently stayed at a charming cabin in South Royalton, VT, and it was such a peaceful and relaxing experience. The cabin had just the right mix of modern amenities and cozy simplicity. The gas stove was a standout feature—it kept us warm and added a lovely ambiance to the space. The surrounding area was beautiful, even in winter, when the view of the pond is a bit harder to see. It was a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. Francey was a friendly and welcoming host, making sure we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed exploring the local dining options, all within a 30-minute drive. Wit & Grit and The Short Notice in Randolph, Simon Pearce in Quechee, and The Rochester Cafe in Rochester were all excellent choices and added to the overall experience. This cabin is a wonderful place to unwind, and we’d love to stay there again!

This was everything we were looking for out of a weekend cozy cabin trip! We were fortunate to get some snow and also some starry skies, but it really contributed to a perfect winter stay alongside a hot tub, fireplace, and nice feeling a privacy despite still being in a neighborhood. A benefit of having other homes was that the roads leading to the home were well cleared of snow, and the driveway was also plowed when we got there. During the day you definitely feel the other houses around, but most of our time spent outside was at night because there were plenty of activities in the area during the day, and at night you feel comfortably secluded in the hot tub. The privacy barrier on the side of the A frame where another party was staying was a great touch. The kitchen was well stocked and every room in the home was a lovely setting to sleep, hang out, and relax. Great hosts. Would highly recommend!

An amazing host and an even more beautiful location. The perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature while still having the option to go explore local communities. George is an awesome host that was responsive, clean, and friendly. Worth the paycheck and the best view money can buy!
