Karley’s was super responsive, very friendly person! The house was beautiful, very clean! The hot tub was an awesome touch too!

The cabin was small, but perfect for two! It was a perfectly peaceful and enjoyable for a relaxing few days before Christmas, even had a beautiful tree put up as well! The area was sparse on “activities” other than outdoor activities, but it was a slow paced area that we were able to do some shopping, eating, hiking, and driving around! Overall a perfect little space for a weekend getaway, Will definitely be back!

Rachel was a great host. Very clean & well taken care of. Close & easy excess to orv/snowmobile trails. Plenty of parking & close to town. Will stay there again.

This place is absolutely amazing. It was like a home away from home. I usually venture out on my getaways, but there was really no need to with everything this place has to offer. From the hot tub to the game room, there is plenty to do and have a great time. I wish I could buy it. I didn't wanna leave. We have already talked about returning in the future.

A very spacious and comfortable stay! The house was well equipped with standard kitchen appliances and toiletries. We enjoyed the large backyard and fire pit, followed by a dip in the hot tub or sauna. Pictures don’t do it justice, the house was spacious, not to mention the hot tub- can’t say I’ve ever seen such a large hot tub, let alone a home indoor one. It comfortably fit all six of us with room for more. We rented ATVs in St. Helen so the hot tub and sauna were amazing after a long cold day outside. Steven was very quick to respond to any questions we had. One question we had was about the water, which was confirmed to be well water (it was rather smelly water) so I would recommend bringing bottled water for drinking. The only other thing I’d note was the lack of WiFi, which might be an issue for others however that didn’t bother us at all. Other than that we had no issues with our stay and would stay again!

Nice, cozy and quiet get away for the winter. Would come back in the summer with family!

This is what our adult kids & ourselves do for Christmas. Instead of buying gifts for each other we put money towards having quality time together. This place was perfect! My son, daughter in-law & grandson had the space above the garage & the treat of us in the main house. There was so much room to cook, have fun & play games together. Not to mention the pool table & ping pong table. It was peaceful & restful which we all needed. Thank you Holly & Shayne!

We had a wonderful time staying here. In the perfect tucked away spot, the pond is very clean and beautiful and feels completely off the grid! The cabin is close enough to both Roger's City and Alpena that we made trips for dinner and to play some golf. Overall, a wonderful experience that made our up north getaway special!

Mabel's Place is cuter than the photos! It was perfectly cozy with a great yard space just close enough to town and other recreation areas! Roger always responded in a timely matter. This is a hidden gem!

This AirBnB brought us such peace during our visit to the area. It was nice and quiet. The house is super cute especially when the fireplace is on - we felt very comfortable. The fencing is nice if you have dogs as well. Fire pit was very relaxing! Easy check in/check out process. Thank you for the welcome goodies as well. We found out that Kirkland popcorn is now our favorite :)

This place is exactly what we were looking for- so cozy, clean, private, and perfect amount of amenities for a short new year’s trip! Good distance from skiing in Gaylord and trailheads for winter hikes!

Cozy place in a very quiet neighborhood! The houses feel pretty close together, but the cabin is set back in some trees so it feels a little more secluded. We didn't see anyone while we were there - maybe because it's the winter? The TV was nice and the wifi worked great. The bathroom is really spacious. The lighting is very cozy and the cabin is decorated nicely. :)

I grew up in this exact area and have a personal connection with this area in particular. The property was exactly as described, we are renting there again next weekend and hope to continue in the future! Thank you again, Frank and Eva.

My family of 4 loved our time here! It has the feel of “up-north log cabin” while also feeling modern, clean, and comfortable. We loved being able to enjoy the wood burning stove while cuddling up and watching a movie. The beds were comfortable. They had a few classic board games to enjoy too! We would definitely come back again.

This was such a beautiful location and perfect little cabin for a weekend away. The photos do not even do the location justice for how beautiful it is right on the water! Host was responsive when I had a question regarding how to use the heat and the area was quiet and peaceful. Truly a wonderful experience!

The location was great, you could walk right out onto the beach. There was only 1 other group staying at the time, so we had that area of the beach all to ourselves. It was pretty easy to find, and only a few minutes away from town. The space was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone lookin for a semi private getaway.

Rented for a softball tournament. Had a blast. It was warm outside and the upstairs was kind of on the warm side. No air conditioning. Overall worked well for what we needed.

We booked this place for a family reunion that we were attending. The cabin was perfect for what we needed. Toni was extremely quick to respond and super accommodating to our needs. We will definitely look into renting this cabin again in the coming years!

I love this place. The only thing I dislike is how uncomfortable the beds are. I would recommend bringing a topper so you can save your back from aches and pains after a couple days. we had an absolutely amazing time! hosts are very kind, responsive, and easy-going. host showed us to the cabin, gave us an overview of the place/appliances, and even gave us very personal recommendations of the area to visit. very flexible with letting you walk the trails around the property. we had trouble with the shower, where they were very responsive and fixed the issue right away. every cooking/kitchen utensil you could need for the tiny cabin is available to you. the hosts let us stay a few hours later than normal check out (due to no other guests coming that day), which led to a stress-free departure on a snowy sunday afternoon. it’s an absolutely beautiful location!! would definitely recommend and will look into staying again in the summer/fall seasons. perfect for a little weekend getaway
