Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Harbour Island

This house and property is even more beautiful than the pictures! The short walking paths to the beach and to Ramora Bay and Ross Rentals nearby for a golf cart were so convenient. Tim gave lots of helpful info online and his housekeeper, Angela, greeted us and made us feel at home right away. The island is special, but the house really added a lot to the charm of the visit. A two day visit was just right for us.

Paul was a fantastic host. I booked for my son. He was very helpful and gave us lots of tips. My son said the property was beautiful.

This is a lovely, well-appointed home right in the center of Dunmoretown. Valentine’s is right next door which means occasional smells from the restaurant but it’s still quite peaceful at Cherise’s. We were there during a time where much of the island was experiencing a water outage; the hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating. We’d love to stay here again. This was an absolutely gorgeous updated historic home. The location was perfect- right in the main area, but very accessible to the beaches. There was a cute food shop just down the block. The kitchen had great appliances, the linens were nice, and the TV was modern. There was an adorable tiny pool in the backyard that my kids spent hours in. The caretaker was lovely and very welcoming without being intrusive. We had a fantastic experience! Highly recommend!!

Location: My family and I had a good experience. For a non -beachfront property, the location is great. Arguably the best beach location we experienced on the island. The home also has plenty of items you would need for the beach. Facilities: May not be what you’re looking for if you’re expecting Ritz-Carltonesque facilities, but if you’re open-minded and understand how island life can be, you will you enjoy it just as much as we did. Read the home’s description and all reviews before booking to manage your expectations as they are all ‘somewhat’ relevant. Contacts: Tim provides contacts to communicate with in case something is needed (we didn’t). Housekeeper came by to check on us a few times. Tim also reached out to us a few times before and during the stay. Very communicative.

Will was a wonderful host, providing us with tons of local tips and knowledge that we wouldn't have had otherwise and making us feel right at home. His home is incredibly comfortable, eclectic, and interesting—his book selection is maybe the best of any home I've ever been in, not exaggerating. Make sure to budget time for a cozy evening in to read one of them! His cat, Gal, is an adorable sweetheart and will gladly curl up on your lap while you do so. And if you decide that you do want to go out, Will's house is perfectly located to enjoy either the oceanside resorts and beaches or the restaurants and attractions of the harbor. Best value in Harbour Island, hands down!

This is a very charming and comfortable cottage--on an island where affordable lodging is in extremely short supply. It's set back from the road and quiet--with a view of the sunset over the water from the patio. While most visitors use golf carts to get around Harbour Island, I simply made the short walks both into town and the pink sand beach. The host, Michelle, is friendly and responsive. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the cottage!

Wonderful cottage stay! House was plenty spacious. Well stocked and very private. Only downside was a fluctuation of power and water. Which was not thehost’s fault. It is now unfortunately a regular issue on the island. Overall amazing stay, and would stay again.
