Herdy View is a magical place. Perfect spot to explore the North Lakes and a really peaceful way to start the New Year. We felt right at home with everything we needed and the place was pristine, snug and cosy.

Lovely stay at a private & peaceful cabin. Beautiful surroundings, quiet & intimate. Stayed for my partners 30th, and the hosts kindly decorated the cabin for me prior to arrival. Great size, everything that we needed for our weekend stay. & hot tub was great to relax in and soak up the rural surroundings.

Rattlebeck Farm Cottage & Hot Tub *Pet Friendly*

JasonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. We arrived just after over a foot of snow had settled so getting down the long drive was difficult for us. After speaking with Amy, her father was there within the hour with his tractor clearing the entire drive of the snow. Can't fault the support and the place was stunning.

New 2023 mini moon luxe with hot tub copper bath

SteveRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Fantastic stay in the most beautiful cottage and stunning surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but wish we had stayed another night due to (in our opinion) a late check in and early check out we felt like we missed a day. The cottage is stunning and there was nothing that wasn’t there to make our stay not feel like home, Nicola has thought of it all even if our complementary fizz had been forgotten we can forgive that haha. Nicola is a fantastic host and answered all enquiries in a friendly and attentive manner while responding quickly. Although a couple of cosmetic touch ups are un need the cottage is well presented and the hot is fantastic. We would definitely love to visit again :)

Cosy Relaxing Lake District retreat Fast BroadBand

BazRating, 5 stars3 months ago
My family and I had an amazing stay at Ralph’s cabin near Penrith! Ralph was a fantastic host with excellent communication, even offering to adjust the heating for us remotely, which was so thoughtful. The cabin was cozy with nice, comfy beds, and the kids were thrilled with the selection of games available. We even spotted wild rabbits outside the bedroom window, which was a special treat! The location is ideal, close to Keswick, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway.

Lakes cottage with stunning view & private hot tub

RyanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wonderful place - all the little details thought of and catered for. We particularly enjoyed the views from the hot tub after a nice walk in the lovely local area. Beautifully decked out house with character features but still with all the modern amenities and comforts one expects. We would recommend this place to anyone .

It is with regret that I have to write such a positive review, as it might mean this property is then unavailable for when I want to stay again 🤣 This property, the hosting, the location were all perfect!! This is the best property I have ever stayed in. It is immaculate. It is friendly, warm, homely. We stayed for the weekend and have said we wish we could stay here for a week or longer. Thank you 😊

Solway Marsh Cottage 5 miles from M6.Jct 44

PatriciaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We were given clear instructions on how to find the property and how to get inside. The cottage was spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. As it was over New Year, we chose to bring food and cook it but there was a village nearby for supplies. We had our 2 dogs with us and even they were catered for. The mud/wet room was great and a towel was provided for cleaning the pups paws. The garden area was adequately enclosed. The view was gorgeous. It would be even more beautiful in the warmer weather.

Delightful Cottage overlooking Fitz Park

GinnyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We couldn’t have asked for more from a host. Tina was incredibly thoughtful and very responsive throughout. Her communication was helpful and clear. Tina’s place was both comfortable and clean, providing an ideal set up and location for our family getaway. We were impressed with Tina’s consideration of the needs of our mixed group and the provision of essentials and equipment at the property. Thank you Tina - what a wonderful host, you really had thought of every detail!

Large family, wheelchair friendly with a hot tub

LeeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at the Chapel over Christmas and was very impressed with the property and facilities. There was enough room for all of us (13 people). The views were spectacular even in the fog. The kitchen was well stocked i.e. had most utensils we needed. Bedrooms were spacious as were the ensuites and master bathroom and communal areas. Hot tub was a bonus! Constructive feedback (none of which detracted from our experience): The Wii console had only one working remote. Could have done with an airfryer (but this is personal preference). Pool table wasn't level but this made it more of a challenge 😅 A note regarding the ev charger being a standard uk plug would have been helpful but there are chargers within a few miles. Overall we we had a great experience and would highly recommend the Chapel to anyone. Thanks to Christian and family for the new memories!!

Lovely family farmhouse. Perfect quiet spot to bring in the New Year. We even got snow, which the garden was great for building a snowman ⛄️. The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays and felt like a home from home.

MaddyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The location around was very picturesque. The barn was lovely and homely, with lots of helpful information on the area around and things to do. Highly recommend staying here if you want a good base location for the peaks, lakes or even Scotland boarder! I also recommend the local national trust sites around.

Period Cottage in picturesque village

AnthonyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Fell view cottage is a real home from home, we stayed here over the course of Xmas with our dogs and 2 children. Jenny was a brilliant host from start to finish she was really helpful and understanding. You will need for nothing at this cottage as it has absolutely everything, it’s really cosy and the small village is really nice especially the pheasant inn which is a 3 min walk is really cosy and there food is amazing. Thanks again would definitely recommend 5 stars x
