Beachfront holiday rental in Halifax Regional Municipality

Our family spent Christmas 2024 at the cabin. It was all that we could have wanted. We enjoyed great meals and company. Wonderful fires and great conversations in the hot tub. The beds are super comfy. There isn't much that you would want for here.

Our stay at Terence Bay was incredible. The location is stunning—right on the beach with beautiful views of a lighthouse. My kids loved being able to climb on the rocks, go hiking along the seashore and even find sea glass right in the backyard! We couldn’t have asked for more and my family didn’t want our time to end! The property was spotless and even better than the pictures. Our two kids especially loved the bunk bed room. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was pure bliss. Danielle, our host, was fantastic—always helpful and attentive. You could tell that she genuinely cared about us having a great trip. She offered us tips and help when needed. We’ll definitely be recommending this spot to our friends and family.

This place was a fantastic experience. We arrived and got a tour and explanation on how to operate the hot tub and sauna. We jumped back and forth from the hot tub and sauna throughout the night. Hot tub was super easy to manage the temperature. The 2 person bath tub was an added bonus. This place is the perfect little get away. We’re excited to experience this place again in the near future. Thank you for the peaceful night away!

Our favorite stop during our vacation. Such a wonderful, beautiful and special place. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft. The entire process was easy. Ousamma was so accommodating and communicative. We will be returning in the next few summers. Our kids loved the goats and exploring the island. We loved the hot tub and the incredible views. Unmatched by anywhere we’ve visited. So much fun!

I can't begin to explain the scerene beauty that this place Tania's place offers. Stunningly beautiful views and a sunrise that leaves you breathless. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and their amazing dogs made the whole place feel like home. We will definitely be back. If I could ever recommend somewhere to be near Halifax but out of this city this hidden gem is an absolute must!!!

My friends and I stayed at Erin’s place for 4 days while visiting Nova Scotia and it was a very calm and peaceful stay just outside of Halifax with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend going here if you want a nice peaceful stay near Halifax!

This air b&b is a gem - my favourite spot of all the locations I’ve had the pleasure to stay at. The home is beautiful, welcoming, open and inspiring… the views are incredible and peaceful. Highly recommend!!

After many days on the road, it was fantastic to park our motorcycles at the Red Roof and totally unplug. It is a gorgeous, peaceful location ...... just soaking in the ebb and flow of the bay was perfect and Phil was a great host....we highly recommend!

This was the most amazing place. We spent a week here and Everything you needed or wanted was right in this place. The surroundings were peaceful, very inviting. Gillian checked in with us halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything. The beds were very comfy. The firepit is beautiful there was a fully stacked wood pile to use for the fire. There were lots of chairs all around to sit outside or out by the the dock. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Gillian and Scott for your hospitality.

We had a fabulous 2 week vacation at the Blue Heron guest house in Tantallon. We wished it could of been longer! Great hosts, very helpful and accommodating. Spectacular views especially loved watching the seals. Would 100% recommend!!

One of those rare times when a house described as "stunning" really lives up to it. John's house near Halifax is beautiful and serene, all windows and wood and incredible views out to the water in the cove and ocean beyond. Surrounded by trees and a garden path down to the dock, it feels private but not isolated. Great house on the inside also - spotlessly clean, streamlined so there's no clutter but everything you need, simple but quite beautiful also. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and bathrooms and just full of sunlight. Can't imagine a better spot to relax and recharge, and close to lots of good hiking. John is super friendly and responsive, a great host - look forward to coming back.

Vista Del Mar is an amazing place for a getaway with family or friends. It is so beautiful, spacious and very unique. Check in was very easy. It was so clean inside and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The view of the ocean from the patio is stunning. The amenities are amazing and there is lots of parking. The decor inside is stunning. It’s a very luxurious place that you will fall in love with. We were a group of 10 and had a fantastic time. We will definitely be back again.

Alex and his house are amazing. I would give Alex 10 Stars out of 5 if I could. He was very accommodating and very responsive to us before, and during our stay. The house is well equipped throughout, including the kitchen to do everything you need. The view is out of this world and is like something from a movie. The rooms are spacious, the living areas are perfect to relax and look at the Atlantic Ocean whilst ships cruise past. Access to the beach was easy and the little peninsula has a fireplace that just completes the whole package. It is private and just what we needed. I highly recommend Alex and his spectacular house for anyone and everyone!

Great location on a very clean and peaceful lake. Swimming , kayaks and paddleboards are available right off the private dock. My son and I enjoyed paddling around the lake with islands, walking trails and a natural area with diving board to explore. The house is on a peninsula so while it’s very private , you also get pretty views on 3 sides. The house is stocked with everything you need for meals, movie watching , games (indoor & outdoor) as wells as a fire pit area. Very rustic feel but everything clean and air conditioned so we were comfortable when we did spend time in the house. Lastly , we were able to get to the Halifax waterfront for a very enjoyable meal in only 35 mins. Closer options in Sackville & Dartmouth as well. We also appreciated having a large Sobey’s grocery store only 10 min drive away.

Amazing place to enjoy our family Christmas under one roof. Spacious and so cozy all in one! We loved the fireplace and the easy access to the beach. There was a snowstorm when we were there and so we were nestled in all day. It was so beautiful to watch the storm roll in and feel so comfortable!

This our second time at the Land Yacht! A group of friends and I used the space as a chance for a mini staycation together. The pool was a blast, all the access to games and puzzles made it easy for everyone to have fun and relax.
