Cottage holiday rentals in Hakuba, Kitaazumi District

Great house for me and my 6 friends. Walking distance to the town, roughly 10 minutes Rubbish was always grabbed if put in the outside bin. Great communication Host come and cleaned house half way through our stay and also restocked towels and kitchen

We had an amazing night at this beautiful Airbnb. We especially loved the sauna and the hot tub. The house was beautiful, lots of space and beautiful interior. I would definitely recommend staying here!

He was very kind. It was helpful to respond quickly even when I didn't know. It was very quiet at night and the view outside was very beautiful when it snowed on the day. They also told me about nearby sightseeing spots and restaurants, and the restaurant was very stylish, delicious, and the view was very beautiful. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

This is a quiet area with privacy. Check-in and check-out is easy without hassle. We can easily communicate with the host via airbnb messaging. There is public bath shared among other residents here which is clean and nice. The cottage we stayed also has its own toilet and bath tub. The overall experience is great here.

One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had across many countries and years. Had a group of six of us stay. Patrick coordinated with us to pick us up from the station, offered to drive us to gather groceries, and made time to drop us off when we left. Took time to make sure we were comfortable, understood how to use the homes features, and gave us plenty of information on what to do in the area, even down to giving us updates on mountain weather each morning and making recommendations on which ski field to go to each day based on changing weather conditions. He was invaluable and a super friendly and helpful host. Thanks mate! See you next time!

An Unforgettable Stay at Kashibesso Green Bell – A True Hidden Gem! Our stay at Kashibesso Green Bell was nothing short of exceptional! Hütte Boden is a cozy cottage nestled in the mountains near Mt Asama. The views of the mountains across were incredible from the porch on a clear sunny day. It has a good access to Karuizawa and Kusatsu Onsen (if one has a car). The host was very kind and friendly. She had neatly organized all the recommendations into files. The place was very cozy and we had an amazing time. She was also very considerate, with us forgetting the check out time. Definitely recommend this place for a mini vacation near Karuizawa.

What a delight it was to arrive at Ken’s place. After sleeping in a shared traditional Japanese house in Nozawa Onsen for 5 nights we really relished the modern elements in this super comfy house and BEDS! The timber panelling feels inviting and we loved the colour/design details. This was easily the best accommodation we had stayed in Japan and BIG. The heating was strong, perhaps too strong as it was hard to control the fan speed and amount of heat it throws even at low temp. The walk into Echoland village is beautiful and fairly close, but my 3 and 6 year olds found it too far. If it’s snowing it’s a long way. I would recommend a car. The Hakuba area is quite large and taxis are expensive and unreliable. Ken provided transfers to the station which was amazing!! The bath tub is superb, tv huge. The kitchen is small compared to the house but it has everything a traveller would need. The street is stunning with gorgeous trees and snow walls. A special place to be for any lengh of time

Homely feeling cute cottage tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but a 8min walk right into the heart of it! Close to cafes/restaurant’s/bus stops/bars and food trucks. Everything is provided, and Takeshi responds to all our questions in a professional manner. Would stay again!

The accommodation was very comfortable. Especially around the kitchen, it was very clean, and there were plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, so it was very helpful when cooking. It was very good to experience the extraordinary experience of staying in the warehouse!

Had a great stay! The house had everything we needed and was toasty and warm. All kitchen items were available. House was clean and tidy and we had a cleaning half way through the stay. Awesome location, close to the Echoland village and restaurants but also far enough away to have some privacy. Also having the car available to us to use was amazing. What a great idea! Projector was also a bonus, which we used on chill nights. Would look to stay again in future!

My husband and I stayed one night.It was just around the time to see the autumn leaves, and it was a very calm environment with a colorful autumn leaves around the area. It was really perfect for relaxing away from the city, and I slept for the first time in a long time.The outside terrace was also large, and the breakfast in the beautiful air was exceptional. The dishes and futons are also very clean.We'd love to stay again for our consecutive holidays.

I stayed here to focus on some work on my laptop, and it was perfect — super quiet and private, with almost no one around. There weren’t any supermarkets or convenience stores nearby, which was a bit inconvenient, but it wouldn’t have been a problem if I had a car. Since it’s pretty deep in the mountains, next time I’d like to come with a car or a bike! The Wi-Fi was great too — I got 76Mbps download speed on the Fast speed test, so everything ran really smoothly. I’d definitely come back! 🫶❤️✨
