The space
River House for Gathering is a boutique riverside retreat accommodating up to 6 guests. Beautifully arranged across three private levels, River House combines contemporary A-frame architecture, light-filled interiors and uninterrupted views of the Murray River bank. Designed for slower stays, the home balances generous shared spaces with peaceful corners for reading, resting and taking in the peaceful surrounds.
At its heart, the open-plan living area (with gas fireplace) and dining area features soaring double-height ceilings and flows seamlessly onto the balcony, where mornings begin with coffee overlooking the riverbank and evenings unfold over sunset drinks as the light fades through the trees. Thoughtfully curated furnishings, natural textures and a calming palette create a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout.

Pet Policy: We’re delighted to welcome your furry companions. Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are invited to join you however, we ask that they remain supervised at all times and are kept off furniture and beds - please remember to pack their own bedding. Kindly note that owners are responsible for any damage caused during the stay, and we ask that you pick up after your dogs in the garden.
