The space
Nestled on 5 acres of native Jarrah, Karri and Marri bushland, Terra Rosa Haven is a peaceful sanctuary with abundant wildflowers in season. Built with natural earth bricks using ancient techniques, the home blends into the environment — offering comfort, warmth, and a chance to slow down and reconnect with nature.
This handcrafted retreat sleeps up to six guests across three generous bedrooms, each with luxurious queen-sized beds. In cooler months, electric blankets ensure cosy nights.
The main bedroom features an ensuite and overlooks citrus trees blending into the native bush.
The second bedroom gazes out over a sprawling garden framed by grapevines and English Wisteria.
A cosy sitting room leads to a mezzanine loft bedroom, complete with a day bed and a Juliette balcony that peers into the garden and forest beyond.
The main bathroom offers a walk-in shower and a stunning antique clawfoot bath with views of a private courtyard garden. For something extra special, immerse yourself in a steaming outdoor bath under the stars, surrounded by forest sounds.
In the open-plan living space, leadlight windows frame the views of the surrounding bush and garden. Curl up by the wood fire, enjoy the cosy living space, or gather around the long dining table for meals and conversation. You’ll have exclusive access to the house, garden, and surrounding bushland, which is home to birds, insects, marsupials, and a beautiful night-time soundscape of crickets and frogs. All water used is rainwater, and the house naturally regulates temperature without the need for powered heating or cooling — a testament to its sustainable design.
Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with a 6-burner gas stove, large oven, fridge, and dishwasher. The back patio offers a BBQ and outdoor dining so you can eat under the big sky and trees.

No Smoking Indoors:
Our home is strictly non-smoking inside. We appreciate your care and respect.
Rates & Bedroom Use:
Rates are based on 2 guests sharing one queen bed.
If 2 guests require separate bedrooms (e.g. friends travelling together), a flat $50 cleaning & linen fee applies for each additional bedroom used.
This also applies if 3 guests use 3 bedrooms. Please let us know at the time of booking so we can arrange this accordingly.
Additional Guests:
Extra guests (after the first 2) are charged at $25 per person, per night.
Only the number of guests included in your booking may stay at the property.
No Parties or Events:
Parties, events, or large gatherings are not permitted.
Please keep music and noise to a minimum, and off by 10pm, out of respect for our lovely neighbours and the peaceful bush setting.
The property is not fenced so therefore be considerate of our adjoining neighbours and keep within the cleared fire breaks between properties.
No Pets:
To protect the local wildlife (including small marsupials), we kindly ask that no pets are brought to the property.
No Open Flames Outside:
Due to bushfire risk, open flames outdoors are strictly prohibited.
This includes fire pits, candles, or any flame-based cooking or lighting.
Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from the property without refund. This is a non-negotiable safety issue — thank you for understanding and keeping the area safe for all.
Unfenced Water Soak:
There is a small, unfenced water soak through the gate at the rear of the property. For this reason, children are welcome only if closely supervised at all times.
