The space
Behind La Shack’s humble exterior lies a beautifully curated coastal retreat that greets you like a warm embrace. Joyful pink walls bathe in natural sunlight, while artworks and details delight at every turn. Each space is thoughtfully designed for comfort, quality, and effortless charm that invites you to truly relax and unwind.

La Shack welcomes up to six guests across two inviting bedrooms: a master with a queen bed, and a second room featuring a queen bed plus bunk beds. Refresh in the main bathroom with a generous walk-in shower, or indulge in a long soak in the vintage outdoor bath - a year-round signature experience. For added convenience, there is a separate toilet.

The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for cooking and long, relaxed meals. Whether you’re gathered around the breakfast bench or nestled in the iconic dining nook, every moment feels warm and intimate. Outdoors, dine under the gentle sway of the old peppermint tree or fire up the BBQ on the back verandah and enjoy the secure garden ideal for children, pets, and lawn games. Over the cooler months, wrap yourself in woollen blankets and gather around the fire pit to create lasting memories.

Extras include free Wi-Fi, a smart TV, picnic baskets, board games and plenty of thoughtful touches throughout.

Explore Like a Local: Just 300m away are safe, sandy, dog-friendly beaches and stunning clifftop boardwalk views. A 4–5 minute drive brings you to Falcon Bay foreshore, perfect for families with its calm waters and playground. Book a private ceramics workshop with local artist @studio_bythebay, or spend your days surfing, fishing, or exploring the Mandurah Estuary with easy boat ramp access nearby.

Guest access
You’ll have exclusive access to the entire property and generous secure backyard. The large block and nestled position offers privacy and a sense of seclusion, making it the perfect setting for your retreat.

Other things to note
Open Flame Policy: The outdoor firepit is yours to enjoy from May 1 and October 31. Please bring your own firewood and lighters.

Pet Policy: We’re thrilled to welcome your furry friends! Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are invited to join, but please keep them supervised, off furniture and beds, and note that owners are responsible for any damage.
