The space
Behind La Shack’s humble exterior lies a thoughtfully curated coastal retreat designed for slow days and simple pleasures. Bathed in natural light, the interior is layered with character, original artwork and collected treasures to create a space that blends nostalgic charm with laid-back luxury.

Sleeping up to six guests, La Shack features two inviting bedrooms, including a master with a queen bed and a second bedroom with a queen bed and bunks - ideal for couples, families and friends seeking a boutique beachside escape in Falcon.

At the heart of the home, a fully equipped kitchen invites slow mornings, shared meals and long conversations. Settle into the cosy dining nook, gather around the breakfast bench, or step outside to enjoy aperitivo hour beneath the shade of the old peppermint tree.

Days are best spent exploring the stunning beaches and waterways of Falcon and Mandurah before returning to the simple pleasures that make La Shack so special — sunset drinks in the sunken lounge, long lunches with family and friends, evenings around the firepit, and indulgent soaks in the vintage outdoor bath beneath the stars. The secure backyard offers plenty of space for children and dogs to play freely.

Thoughtful Extras: Complimentary Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, books, board games, picnic baskets and outdoor games and a collection of careful details designed to make your stay effortless. A port-a-cot and highchair are available on request (bedding not included), along with ample secure off-street parking.

You’ll have exclusive access to the entire property and generous secure backyard. The large block and nestled position offers privacy and a sense of seclusion, making it the perfect setting for your retreat.

Other things to note
Open Flame Policy: The outdoor firepit is yours to enjoy from May 1 and October 31. Please bring your own firewood and lighters.

Pet Policy: We’re delighted to welcome your furry companions. Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are invited to join you however, we ask that they remain supervised at all times and are kept off furniture and beds - so please remember to pack their own bedding. Kindly note that owners are responsible for any damage caused during the stay, and we ask that you pick up after your dogs in the garden.
