Holiday rentals with lake access in Gwynedd

This was the perfect place for our trip to climb Snowdon. We chose to climb the Miners track which was a short taxi ride from the house (or you can get the bus) and we came down the Llanberis track and were able to walk back to the house from there. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend!

Me and a small group of friends booked Stuart’s place last minute for our trip to North Wales. The accommodation was pristine throughout and finished to a very high standard. The house is very spacious and it has everything you need for a home from home stay. We travel to Wales often as a group and I will certainly be booking this accommodation again if it’s available. This is a fantastic little home from home and exactly as described. It's great value for money and is a cosy, comfortable renovation project. It's really warm and homely, the kitchen is amazingly well equipped, the living area is really cosy and the two bedrooms are a great size. The bathroom is great, the bath is HUGE, kids could probably swim in it!!! The property was really clean and tidy, and for the cost per night it's brilliant value. Parking is tight, but Karen clearly explains the best way to get a car in and it was fine (we have a Lexus NX and got in easy peasy). There isn't a garden for dogs to go to the toilet, but there are plenty of spaces less than a couple of minutes away so not a problem. It's in a lovely quiet residential area, so we slept like a log, and being in the heart of the national park there are plenty of walks straight from the door.

What an absolutely stunning place to stay. So luxurious, comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean. The welcome treats and fresh flowers were lovely and greatly appreciated. The house far exceeded our expectations - can honestly say it’s the best place we’ve stayed. There was everything we could have possibly needed and more. The beds were soooo comfortable! As one of the previous reviews said, when we got up in the morning, we couldn’t wait to get back into bed that night! Particularly after long walking days. Fantastic location, right in the heart of Llanberis with easy access to Snowdon, Padarn Country Park and Quarry plus local shops, bars and eateries. Ceri and Paul were fabulous hosts, very responsive and kind. The information booklet was great and very informative. We cannot recommend their place highly enough. Thanks so much we had a really lovely stay.

Lynne’s place was absolutely beautiful, we felt very much at home and well rested by the end of our trip. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful cottage.

Had an amazing long weekend here. The house is beautiful and had plenty of space for the 7 of this with 4 dogs. The views are outstanding and lovely being able to walk down to the lake. Fresh eggs from the chickens was a lovely bonus and we enjoyed feeding and petting Bonnie. Jane was excellent with communication and more than helpful.

Lucinda’s place is beautiful! She was kind enough to accommodate a change to my original booking when there was bad snow. It’s a cosy place in gorgeous surroundings, totally peaceful and perfect for a “getaway from it all” weekend. Lovely walks nearby and I visited a local place for Sunday lunch about 3 miles away, which was lush. The bath and shower are perfect, a powerful shower is a must for me and it was just that! Bed super comfortable and lots of thoughtful touches. Lucinda was super friendly and helpful, I couldn’t have asked for more from her throughout my stay, from originally booking right through to me checking out. I would recommend to anyone :-)

Fantastic place to stay, the Chapel was beautiful. It’s very local and near everywhere we wanted to visit, great local amenities too. Maggie was a fantastic host, communication was great. We would definitely rent the chapel again especially as we want to do another walk up Snowdon! Thank you Jon and Maggie!

Fantastic apartment with wonderful views. We took our 3 year old and 3 month old children, alongside our 2 dogs and had a wonderful time. The enclosed big back garden was really helpful with the dogs, and was also a sun trap. Aberdovey is a little hilly when you turn off the seafront, so bear this in mind as the entrance to the apartment is on a side street, we managed fine. The apartment itself was great, but literary being over the road from the beach, we generally only ate and slept there. Highly recommend. This is the second time we have stopped in Aberdovey and we will be back again. Once you go 400m down the beach from the centre, the dogs are allowed to roam free all year round.

The place was spotless and tidy. Getting in was easy and the hosts were very quick to reply to messages! Such a lovely location and lots of parking space on quite a quiet road. Well worth it, Y Felinheli is very sweet and quiet with two big towns either side for more options shopping and of course Angelsea and the expanse of Snowdonia so nearby. A great home base for adventures.

Had an excellent 2 night stay in this beautiful place, Grady was a responsive host and had clear instructions. The area was beautiful and it’s in walking distance of all the amenities and everything Barmouth has to offer. Absolutely loved the accommodation, perfect for a weekend by the coast. Beautiful scenery and close to all the shops. If I return, I would love to use this accommodation again.

Very comfortable stay, clean and spacious flat. Host very welcoming and friendly. Walkable to the lake and mountain. Handy Spar shop for all your needs.

The apartment was a lot bigger then I presumed. We booked the apartment for a weekend to walk up snowdon. The town was quiet as out of season for tourists, but the apartment was a great size and felt at home right away. Everywhere was spotless clean and spacious. Can’t fault it.

Stunning Valentines weekend away. Myself and my partner had an amazing relaxing weekend, local to Snowdon for walks and also beautiful views of the lake from the bedroom window which was only a 5-10 minute walk - beautiful! Gorgeous space, very light and airy. Decorated beautifully, very comfortable, felt like we were at home. Would definatley recommend and we are looking to come back in Summer time. Not far from a local co op and petrol station. Very simple instructions on how to get in, we arrived in the dark and all the lights were left on. Heating is on a timer which was perfect for us, we we’re always warm and perfect temperature. Thank you Ceri & Gwion for such a spectacular stay.

Perfect location for walking on or around Snowdon. literally a few hundred metres from the foot of Llanberis trail/railway station. The room was well appointed and absolutely spotless, as was the bathroom. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Instructions on location and entry were first class, flexible too on departure day, many thanks 🙏

The cottage was beautiful, very cosy and well presented. They clearly take very good care and attention to how they keep their space. Not only was it beautiful inside and out but the bed was very comfy and everything was very tidy and clean. The hosts are kind and friendly and welcomed us upon arrival. 100% hope to go back soon to spend a night under the stars in the hot tub.

What an amazing place to stay! The location was incredible and, despite being a little hidden away, the instructions given on how to find the cottage were super detailed and easy to follow. Spotless and clean, beautiful surroundings, and within a short driving distance to anywhere you could wish to explore in Snowdonia! I would without a doubt stay here again.

A small and cosy cottage that was lovely and clean inside, everything was as described and Nick was super helpful, Siobhan was just as nice too, letting us know when we could check in, we were able to drop our heavy bags off early too which helped a lot as we went and hiked Snowdon on the day we arrived, Nick is super helpful and replies quickly, would definitely recommend and would happily stay again 👍🏻

We had a wonderful week in Elliw and family's lovely cottage. It had everything we needed for a week away with our 7 month old, and was a great location for exploring North Wales. Elliw was really helpful and responsive to questions. The cottage was beautiful and has been really thoughtfully renovated making it a really relaxing place to stay. We would love to return in the future.

Having visited the town over the years, we were glad to be in such a convenient location. Vicki was very responsive and accommodating when organising logistics and once we were in the house there were no issues.

Samantha was amazing and the cottage was a perfect little retreat. The home was prepared immaculately with care and thought; walking through the front door (self check-in) gave us both an immense sigh of relief and relaxation after a lengthy drive! I was amazed at the lengths Sam went to to provide local recommendations and her knowledge of the area is commendable. We had a niggle with the wifi and messaged Sam to be met with a call minutes later ensuring we had resolved it and the offer of a plan B & C if we hadn't! Faultless and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends & family. Thanks Sam!

So warm and comfy - great to come back to after a cycle along the lake. Exceptionally well equipped cottage with a fabulous cooker which even tempted me to cook a few meals. It’s very well heated and with the wood burner positively toasty even in February. The village is exceptionally friendly - I spent a lot of time chatting and everyone says hello. The lake is just down the road a great place to swim in a few months time. Philip was very helpful and friendly and always got back really quickly.
