Holiday rentals with lake access in Gwynedd

Jonny & Sarah’s house is perfect for that little Welsh getaway!! Stayed two nights to climb Snowdon on one of the days and was a god send of a place to relax the night before and to recover once we got back down. Would 100% recommend to anyone to stay at Snowdon View!! Jonny and Sarah were also very responsive to messages and also very helpful when i realised I had a flat tyre just before leaving!! Great place, great hosts, couldnt ask for anything more!!

A fantastic home and a great location. We didn’t need to drive anywhere during our stay and had a few full days of exploring the area. Karen is a fantastic host. We felt at home and communication ahead of the trip was really good. 😊

What an absolutely stunning place to stay. So luxurious, comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean. The welcome treats and fresh flowers were lovely and greatly appreciated. The house far exceeded our expectations - can honestly say it’s the best place we’ve stayed. There was everything we could have possibly needed and more. The beds were soooo comfortable! As one of the previous reviews said, when we got up in the morning, we couldn’t wait to get back into bed that night! Particularly after long walking days. Fantastic location, right in the heart of Llanberis with easy access to Snowdon, Padarn Country Park and Quarry plus local shops, bars and eateries. Ceri and Paul were fabulous hosts, very responsive and kind. The information booklet was great and very informative. We cannot recommend their place highly enough. Thanks so much we had a really lovely stay.

Lynne’s place was absolutely beautiful, we felt very much at home and well rested by the end of our trip. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful cottage.

We had a lovely time at the cottage. It was very peaceful and idea for both us and our dog. The facilities were excellent and we will definitely go back. I would highly recommend the cottage.

Fantastic and characterful place to stay in the heart of Llanberis, so perfect for walking up Snowdon and local amenities. Beds were very comfy, excellent and well equipped kitchen for self-catering, with decent knives and enough crockery to load dishwasher and still have spare to use. V good hot shower and bath, we really loved every aspect and would happily stay again. Thanks Maggie

We had a lovely stay at Andy’s place. Has a very homely feel to the house, and we felt very relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The location is perfect, less than 10 minutes to bottom of Snowdon. Would stay here again for definite.

Fantastic apartment with wonderful views. We took our 3 year old and 3 month old children, alongside our 2 dogs and had a wonderful time. The enclosed big back garden was really helpful with the dogs, and was also a sun trap. Aberdovey is a little hilly when you turn off the seafront, so bear this in mind as the entrance to the apartment is on a side street, we managed fine. The apartment itself was great, but literary being over the road from the beach, we generally only ate and slept there. Highly recommend. This is the second time we have stopped in Aberdovey and we will be back again. Once you go 400m down the beach from the centre, the dogs are allowed to roam free all year round.

I cannot recommend this place more, the view and location is incredible. communication with the hosts was great. overall, 5* stay!

Had an excellent 2 night stay in this beautiful place, Grady was a responsive host and had clear instructions. The area was beautiful and it’s in walking distance of all the amenities and everything Barmouth has to offer. Great location overlooking the harbour and east walk into Porthmadog for shops and restaurants. Very peaceful with lovely balcony (if the weather had been better!)

The apartment was a lot bigger then I presumed. We booked the apartment for a weekend to walk up snowdon. The town was quiet as out of season for tourists, but the apartment was a great size and felt at home right away. Everywhere was spotless clean and spacious. Can’t fault it.

Lovely cosy convenient flat.Everything we needed and owner very helpful on our arrival in the rain.Would definitely recommend. Very good for Nell my dog too.

Stunning Valentines weekend away. Myself and my partner had an amazing relaxing weekend, local to Snowdon for walks and also beautiful views of the lake from the bedroom window which was only a 5-10 minute walk - beautiful! Gorgeous space, very light and airy. Decorated beautifully, very comfortable, felt like we were at home. Would definatley recommend and we are looking to come back in Summer time. Not far from a local co op and petrol station. Very simple instructions on how to get in, we arrived in the dark and all the lights were left on. Heating is on a timer which was perfect for us, we we’re always warm and perfect temperature. Thank you Ceri & Gwion for such a spectacular stay.

Our second stay at this great cottage. It’s very convenient for us as it’s close to family. It’s very well equipped and in great condition. Huw is a very friendly and responsive host. We will use it again in the future

Spent the weekend at Lliwen’s place as a group of four. Very peaceful location, incredibly helpful and responsive host, and only a short drive from Snowdonia! Had an amazing time, felt right at home.

Exactly what we look for in a holiday and had a fantastic time. The cottage itself was spacious but still warm and snug. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils for multiple people if needed and the WiFi worked as should. In the heart of such an incredible place and beautiful breathtaking walks especially near the lake.

Really lovely house, perfect for two people with lots of space and a nice wood burner. It's in a great location, very close to a town and has lots of lovely walks and hikes nearby. Nick was very helpful and was very quick to respond if we ever needed anything. Overall was a great place to stay.

We loved our long weekend break at Ship Cottage! The accommodation itself was so clean and had everything we needed, especially the kitchen. We loved the fireplace in the cold evenings which was stocked with logs. I was also a huge fan of the comfy duvet and bed. The cottage is easy to get to and only a 10 minute drive from Llanberis which we enjoyed going to for breakfast. The secluded location meant the view of the stars at night were unbelievable and it was wonderful waking up to views of Mount Snowdon every morning. Thanks Basil for a great stay!

Having visited the town over the years, we were glad to be in such a convenient location. Vicki was very responsive and accommodating when organising logistics and once we were in the house there were no issues.

So warm and comfy - great to come back to after a cycle along the lake. Exceptionally well equipped cottage with a fabulous cooker which even tempted me to cook a few meals. It’s very well heated and with the wood burner positively toasty even in February. The village is exceptionally friendly - I spent a lot of time chatting and everyone says hello. The lake is just down the road a great place to swim in a few months time. Philip was very helpful and friendly and always got back really quickly.
