Cottage holiday rentals in Gulfport

Great clean place. Looks exactly like the pictures, excellent location and extremely close to the beach. Cottage is very clean and well maintained. Pool was also very clean and the grounds are clean. Easy to find, would absolutely stay again. Only tiny issue is hot tub would only heat to 89 even when set higher. The washer and dryer are a major perk when traveling for a lot of days as a family. Thanks for a great stay!!

We loved our stay. House is nice and clean, beds are comfy, kitchen has everything you need to cook meals and there is a nice charcoal grill in the backyard. Our family really enjoyed the ping pong table, heated pool and hot tub. We visited over the Thanksgiving holiday so the hot tub was especially nice in the chilly mornings and evenings. The backyard is so peaceful for reading and relaxing and there is plenty of nice seating around the pool and a couple pool tubes and rafts on the back porch. We had 2 who worked from the house and the wi fi worked great. The location can't be beat. We had a golf cart but you can really walk everywhere from this property. This was our 5th visit to Bay St. Louis and this property was our favorite. Hope to stay here again next visit.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway at this location. The home has so many nice amenities and in a fabulous location. Loved all of the art in the home and it has upgraded appliances and is well furnished. It is very close to a railroad track and you can see and hear the train. The negative to that is the conductor blew the horn at 4 am which makes for an abrupt wake up alarm. Overall, the place is comfortable and has a lot of charm.

This is our second year that we have stayed at the Mermaid Cottage and we just love the house and the surrounding area. Lynn is a great host and very helpful with any questions that we had.

Larry's place was great, perfect for our trip in town, and will certainly be returning! Super cool little place with a lot of personality. highly recommend!

For our family of six plus our dog, this was a sweet place to stay for a long weekend at the beach. We were always able to find parking right at the beach, and the beach was not crowded at all. The beds in the house were comfortable and easily fit the six of us. The neighborhood was fun to take the dog on walks, and my husband and I enjoyed going for a run in the morning. We could easily make our meals, do laundry, and Janie communicated everything clearly!

We stayed there for a week during Thanksgiving while visiting family in the area. It’s a great location easy to get around. I loved being so close to the beach and boardwalk. The cottage was perfect for a cozy beach week in the winter. I’m sure the area is a very busy in the summer but there were several things walking distance and easy drives to make the location convenient during busy season. The cottage is dog friendly, which was a huge plus for us. We will definitely be looking to rebook next year when making our plans.

This is the perfect cottage for a getaway. 2-3 blocks from the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and best of all… pet friendly. We went during January so there wasn’t as many tourists. The cottage was the perfect size. Casey was an amazing host and was quick to respond to my questions. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The place was very clean and organized. They had any and everything you could want or need available. It was comfortable, cozy, and only short walk to the beach. Overall it was a great experience. I would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely loved our stay! Feel like I’ve made new friends in the process! Beautiful, spotless home with gorgeous gardens and decor. Everything is exactly as described, which is refreshing. Danny and Don were great hosts and so accommodating! Tons of suggestions on what to see and do in Bay St. Louis! Walkable to restaurants, bars, and shops. Cannot say enough good things about our stay!

My wife and I stayed for an extended weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The home was beautiful! And very easy to gain access to with the instructions that Teri provided. It was so clean and comfortable, and very close to everything we wanted to visit. Although most of our time was spent away from home, we found it very comfortable and easy to relax into once we were there. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit the Gulf Coast region, and my only wish was that we could’ve stayed longer!

We have stayed in every casino (multiple times), most hotels and many airbnbs along Beach Blvd. from Ocean Springs to Bay St Louis over the years and this little blue cottage was our favorite!! Love the whimsical decorations. Love that it’s a 100 yr old home. If the walls could talk! Fabulous location!! The beds were dreamy. So comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for more. Love the hosts! Jessie couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. We can’t wait to come back!

This was the perfect place for a last minute 21st Anniversary trip for us! The home was beautiful, extremely clean & super cozy. Master bed was comfy. Shawn’s communication is great! We would definitely stay here again.
