Holiday rentals with a kayak in Gulf County

The home was immaculate with a very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable and tastefully decorated. Quiet and relaxing neighborhood, with a short walk to the beach. Nature trails and restaurants nearby. Julie recommended Serenity Trail and Uptown Raw Bar and Grille which we really enjoyed. We hope to return soon!

Had a wonderful family Christmas at the beach. We had everything we needed for an adult family of five for the week. There are wonderful restaurants and fun shopping within an easy drive. The beach was peaceful and quiet. The accommodations were exactly as advertised. Adrian was very responsive both prior to check in and during our stay. I would definitely return and stay again.

A calm, welcoming, well-appointed delight of a home. I got exactly what I hoped for: delightful nature, waterfront on St. Joe Bay, quick walk to public beach, peace, quiet, security, kayaks, bliss. The hosts outdid themselves taking care of me. I will stay again, and again!

We had a fantastic stay at this well-kept home. The host was very responsive and attentive. Our family stayed there for Christmas, and Kate kindly offered to set up the Christmas tree before our arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. The house had many family games and puzzles; we completed five during our visit. There was also a ping pong table and arcade games, which allowed us to take a break and disconnect. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool with a good book. Went and watched the sunset on a few evenings to take in the whole experience. Overall, it was a great experience.

Sandy Paws is a big, uniquely lovely home in a very natural & wild but welcoming part of Florida. Andy & Travis have done an amazing job setting up the place to make guests feel comfortable & at home, including pets, which we deeply appreciate! (But if it weren't for conveniences like pet bowls & beds etc we wouldn't have known, as it was very clean.) The beds were nice & comfy while the kitchen has a great assortment of utensils, dishes & assorted things you tend to need on vacation. The decks & screened porch were big hits, plus many conveniences like bikes, outdoor shower & golf cart. It's even more spacious than the pictures suggest, with a fun game room & DS mini fridge, big Jacuzzi tub & peaceful, private location just a short walk/drive from the beach. The beach itself is beautiful, sunny, full of shells & not crowded, though we visited in the off season. TH Stone & local food+shops were excellent as well! We had a blast & can't recommend Sandy Paws & its hosts strongly enough.

Sunnie went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. The house was beautiful and plenty of room for my family. The area and had shops, food, and much more within walking distance! House was fully stocked and didn't need anything for the beach. Highly recommend!

Great stay, immaculately maintained house and close to the market place. East access to the house with everything available that one would need for a comfortable stay. Very peaceful with no distractions and lived our stay.

House was great, awesome layout. Having separate rooms and the carriage house is great to give everyone their space.

You can’t beat the location. Located right at the entrance to the state park steps off the beach. There’s still hurricane damage all around but that’s understandable considering how severe it was. The condo is older and well worn but that’s just what we like. We felt comfortable in the space. The only complaint would be the soaking tub in the master is beyond “worn”. I really wanted to soak in the tub with the amazing view of the beach/gulf but didn’t feel comfortable even trying to turn it on. We want to go back and take the grand babies!
