Craig's Cedar Serenity House was a well designed guest house that I strongly recommend for a relaxing few days in Siler City. Gas range and convection oven allowed us to make a great little dinner and breakfast. There was really no reason to leave. The fireplace made the couch and living space a cozy hang for my wife and I. We had a warm enough morning right before we checked out so we made coffee and sat on the screen porch. I'm writing this from my desk at work on a Monday morning - what a great weekend of relaxation and memories created talking in the jacuzzi under the stars, watching a movie on the couch and eating meals side by side at the banquette! Bring a book here or your favorite person to talk with all day - we needed all of these things and the Cedar Serenity House did not disappoint.

The lakefront cottage utilizes space well and is very clean and comfortable. The location on the lake is absolutely wonderful. Private area without a lot of traffic. We used the kayaks most of the days for fishing and exploring. Caught several bass and a 25lb catfish! The kitchen is well stocked! We cooked most meals at the house, utilizing the blackstone for breakfast. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed it immensely.

Had a great time here! Everyone felt at home and it was very relaxing. House was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The hike down the stairs and back up from the dock takes a little energy so try to make sure you bring everything down you need in one trip! The dock was BEAUTIFUL and in a cute little cove that was shallow enough and private enough to let our 10 y/o kids play in the water without worrying about boat traffic. We really enjoyed ourselves! I booked Tammy’s cottage on behalf of my mother who was visiting the area for a little over a week, and she absolutely loved it. The property was peaceful, spacious, and private, and provided great views of the lake and sunset. It was a delight walking out to the water in the evenings and seeing all the neat birds zooming around. The inside was bright and clean, and very well-stocked with everything she needed. We greatly appreciated the lived-in cottage feel, in contrast to so many modern, sterile rentals one often finds on Airbnb. Tammy was very thoughtful and easy to communicate with throughout the stay — she even made special dog treats for our golden retriever! Our only regret was staying during a particularly cold stretch in the winter, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the beautiful deck or get out on the water as much as we’d hoped. All the more reason to come back in the warmer months for another stay. This is a true gem in Orange County!

A pleasant location next to an excellent cafe with a garden. The cottage is nicely appointed, comfortable, and clean. Pittsboro has many fine qualities worth exploring.

Morenito is a thoughtful host: we had everything we needed, from coffee and condiments in the kitchen, to toiletries in the bathrooms. Beds are memory foam type beds and very comfortable! Good location with stores & restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend this place to others, especially families!

This charming cabin was perfect for a girls’ weekend getaway! Lisa was very accommodating and a great communicator. The pool deck was a lovely place to sit in the sun on a couple of cool fall days.

One of the nicer Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. The details were thoughtful, it had every hospitable touch, and the setting was so peaceful I wished I could stay longer! The host, Mike, is extremely helpful and communicative.

We traveled with our daughter & 4 of our nieces/nephews. They had a great time! Kayaks & life vests provided. Right on the water with a private dock, and we roasted smores at the campfire outback. The place was very clean. Though small, the space was maximized and it fit all 7 of us just fine- even seating at the kitchen table. The furniture/linens were quality and they had all the basics and then some in the kitchen- even spices & condiments. There is no dishwasher, but that was not a problem for us. Terry really included so many thoughtful touches. He communicated proactively and even checked on us when we arrived late on our check in date. He went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. Being it’s a small lake house, the bathrooms were tight, but had everything we needed. My husband said “that’s the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on.” We left a few small items and he even offered to mail them to us. Top notch! Would stay again! Highly recommend!!

What a delightful cottage! It’s in a great location on some beautiful, beautiful land! The inside is decorated so cute. There are so many neat details. You can tell they took a lot of time making this house cozy and functional. The beds were comfortable and the main bathroom very spacious! Check-in was seamless and checking out was easy. We will definitely stay here again when we come to visit family. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area. PS- The fresh eggs from the chickens out back were icing on the cake and such a special treat!

Michael's cottage felt like stepping a little back in time with the louvered interior doors and other interesting features, which reminded me of the days when a whole house fan and no air conditioning was the norm . No need to fret, though, as his central heating and his space heater both worked beautifully. Michael was very professional in his dealings with me and was very helpful. Enjoyed my stay.

I lived in this house ten years ago. it felt like home then and still feels like home. very quaint and homey!

Had a great time with a couple friends just tryna get away for the weekend. Definitely would stay again.

If you need a place in the area, I highly recommend booking Jen’s place. Very clean, decorated well, beautiful dishes and well stocked kitchen. We loved the layout of the home. The two queen beds and separate family room tv area worked out wonderfully for our two family stay while we were visiting friends in the area. There was a child with allergies so we appreciated that the space was clean and pet free. Jen was friendly, proactive and available from booking through the end of our stay.

The place was very comfortable. We loved the fire pit and the dock.
