What a fantastic place. We really didn’t want to leave this morning. We had such a fantastic time that we have recommended this place to both friends and family. We will most definitely be returning. Thank you again

We had an amazing stay here. The cottage is very comfortable and cosy and in a very remote peaceful setting. The hot tub was very relaxing followed by sitting infront of the log fire made for a very relaxing time. The special treats left by the owner for the dogs was a lovely touch and the gingerbread was gorgeous. We would definately stay again.

If ever you wanted a tranquil getaway - with nature on your doorstep but with the modern touch - then this is accommodation is for you. Beautifully modernised and spotlessly clean - and idyllic! Having the hottub under the stars made it perfect Definately be back in the summer for another “reset” of life Thank you

The cottage was cosy and clean with lots of things to keep us entertained- especially the darts board and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and modern and the local host was very helpful and responsive when we needed help as well. Overall I would 100% recommend and well worth the stay :)

We had an absolutely gorgeous and relaxing weekend at the cottage. With the sun shining we enjoyed paddle boarding and swimming in the lake then warming up in the hot tub! The cottage is quirky and cosy, we loved the wood burning stove in the evening. The swing seat in the garden was also perfect for an afternoon snooze in the sun ☀️ Ruth very kindly dropped off a bottle of bubbly as we had some birthdays in the party which was such a sweet extra touch! We will be back.

We had a really lovely long weekend at Rose Barn cottage. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped with everything needed. Towels were provided for the hot tub too. Hot tub was fabulous. Beautiful area. Hosts were so lovely and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely w returning.

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. It was clean snug and warm and had everything we needed to make it a memorable weekend. Diana is very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home straight away I would thoroughly recommend it

Jerry was a very responsive host lots of information. You also get a app to use which is very helpful with clear instructions on how to access the property useful information with apps and gadgets and also local restaurants and shops the cottage itself was beautiful amazing views hot tub was fantastic beautiful surroundings very private would very highly recommend and will most definitely be staying again and a big thank you to Jeff for being an amazing host. I’m very helpful.

We have just spent a couple of wonderful days walking up penyghent. Moira's cottage was wonderful. Really clean and cosy and stocked with everything we needed. The walk up to pen-y-ghent starts literally right outside the doorstep which is very handy and a comfortable bed is exactly what we needed after the long walk. Thank you Mouira for your hospitality.

Fantastic find. We booked this for a Christmas/ new year break and found home from home with Emma decorating cottage to make us feel it was just that. Extremely private in ever changing landscapes with weather conditions but that said had good weather for season. Got out and about on recommendations. Farmers arms a good local and friendly . Ulverston offers great alternatives in wet weather, canal walk, museum and crystal showroom. We ventured out to Buttermere, Wray castle and other surrounding areas. Super cosy and comfortable cottage. All the rooms were clean and refurbished to a high standard. Lovely views and great set-up with a wood burner in the living room and a massive free standing bath in the bathroom. Perfect location to do lots of walks in the close area. Only 30 minutes from Keswick and 20 minutes from Cockermouth. We will definitely visit again!

Great place. warm. surrounded of beautiful places. close to sea, waterfalls, stunning villages. good pubs for food. Steve was available and welcomy. very good and peaceful place

A wonderful cottage in a fabulous location. Fizz, fresh bread and homemade jam to greet us. Lovely warm and surprisingly large cottage with a gorgeous view of the ford. Great walks straight from the door with wildlife aplenty (sadly no red squirrels but our host did point us to a hotel where we managed to see them). All in all, a cracking place to stay.

We had a really lovely stay in Settle! The cottage had everything we needed, and was in a great location for Malham and Skipton. The hosts even left us a bottle of wine and some biscuits which we loved! Thank you so much for having us! Couldn’t recommend this place more if you are staying in Settle 😊

Lovely spacious cottage within easy reach of Cockermouth. Had everything provided could possibly need and even a jar of dog treats. The whole cottage was immaculate and clean. Would certainly recommend and return myself again in the future.

Absolutely loved our anniversary stay at Crumble Cottage. Was everything we needed for relaxation and more On check in, Stewart was on hand and gave us an overview of the place, surroundings and suggested great places to visit and eat. The cottage itself is approx 15min walk into the centre of Cartmel - with great places to eat and drink there We visited the Wolf Predator experience by Grange-over-Sands - it was amazing!! Really enjoyed the comfort of the cottage and the tranquility- Will definitely be back again! Thanks for having us (Heidi & Craig) ☺️

We had a great 2 night stay at the cottage. Really nice inside and comfortable beds. The village is really quiet and nice walks close by, with a local pub which was highly entertaining with the locals full of chat. Would highly recommend a stay here

Catherine is an excellent host, great communication and keen that everything is ok, quick response to queries raised. lovely welcome touch, of milk, cereal, bread, pastries, fruit juice jam, butter and apples and a supply of tea and coffee. Lovely compact cottage with a good kitchen, with a dishwasher and microwave. peaceful and quiet, away from everything but only a short drive in to Kendal

Beautiful cottage in a great location. Lovely to meet Joan for check in and the extra touch of the breakfast basket was very much appreciated. The cottage is amazing and definitely a home from home. We will definitely look to come back sometime in the future.

We really enjoyed staying at April’s cottage. It was a great location for a winter stay as it’s very accessible to both Keswick town and the station.

Bank House Cottage is an exceptional cottage to stay at. Hosts Veronica and Alan were wonderful, giving local recommendations and ensuring that everything was perfect for our stay. The cottage itself is beautiful and has an interesting history. It was sparkling clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. We also availed of the Hot Tub which was luxurious and very relaxing. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at the cottage and hope to return in the future.

This property is part of the lakeland village complex and is a lovely location at the southern tip of Windermere. The staff were all super helpful and very friendly with any questions we had. We would be very happy to stay here again. The property was lovely and clean with a rustic countryside feel to the decor. Although cold in the winter the heating and fireplace make it a very toasty comfortable stay.
