Holiday rentals with lake access in Greatstone

Tim was a lovely host, very responsive and made me feel at ease and ready for our weekend in Rye. It’s a great house, a perfect size for us as 2 adults, 2 children + dog. There are lots of games and books provided and there’s a nice big park opposite with a playground. We particularly enjoyed the cat cafe which is just at the end of the street. And everything is in walking distance. A great location. We had a wonderful time.

A superb home with character, design features, and so thoughtfully laid out. I knew that the location was about rest, relaxation and peace but the physical location of the house with direct access to the sand dunes and the beach was epic. My partner and I took out three dogs with us and it was the exact medicine needed for complete rest, relaxation and was an oasis of calm. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning. Sophia was an impeccable host and I could not have asked for me. I have never wanted to book the same place twice but.... I will be booking again.

Live in Canterbury but due to an issue at my house needed a place to stay that night. Lewis was quick to respond and very helpful and friendly . The place was very quiet and I enjoyed the evening chilling cosying up on the sofa / great tv The bed was very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep . Great quiet place especially if you had kids etc as well worth the £. Would highly recommend 👍🏻

We had the most wonderful stay at this stunning Georgian cottage in Rye, Sussex. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property was something truly special. Amazing home, would definitely stay again. clean tidy and perfect. 30 second walk to the nearest sand dune, or 2 minute walk to the main car park/straight onto the beach. local bars/pubs and shops. very near Rye town. Highly recommended

Clean spacious bungalow in great quiet location very close to beach but tucked away from road. Accommodation is very well equipped and beds were comfortable. Easy parking and also enclosed private garden perfect for a dog. Would highly recommend for a relaxed comfortable stay in a unique part of the country. The fish shack at Dungeness is worth a visit.

Great flat, excellent location. Plenty of towelsand spare bedding. Was a perfect stay for us and our dogs, just a short walk to the beach. Would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay with my family! The caravan was super clean and felt just like home—so cozy and comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfy, and we all felt relaxed and at ease. Julie was so easy to get in touch with. By the end of our stay, my kids even asked if we could sell our house and buy a caravan instead! 😅 It was truly a memorable experience, and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you.

My partner and I had a really dreamy weekend in Margate staying at Robbie’s apartment. The location is fantastic with a gorgeous view of the beach from the balcony and loads of excellent restaurants within walking distance, the flat is clean and tidy with everything you could possibly need, and Robbie was super helpful and communicative. We hope to stay again!

We had a lovely stay at this very comfortable, home-from-home apartment. Being a stone’s throw from the beach makes the setting very special - you can hear the waves! - and Simone was a great host. Highly recommend both the apartment and the area.

This was my first time visiting friends in Kent from Liverpool, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Maidstone East station was just a short walk from this lovely accommodation, making it incredibly convenient. Mitchell was kind enough to provide his contact details in case I needed any assistance, though everything was smooth and straightforward upon arrival. The property was spotless, with a clean, fresh scent, and it had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The fast internet was a lifesaver as I had a work meeting to attend before heading out for some shopping at Maidstone Centre with friends. After a long day of travel and socialising, the hot shower and bath were the perfect way to unwind, with lovely smelling soaps provided, and fresh white towels! There’s also a small spa nearby for any last-minute items you might need for a short stay. There’s also a private parking available if you live abit closer than I do. I’ll be looking to book again next year

Our family had a wonderful few days at the gorgeous Oast House property. Stunning setting with views across the fields. Local walks were great and maps available, along with local attractions all close by. Heather prepared an amazing meal for us which was well worth the money and the property had everything we needed for a peaceful and enjoyable few days away from the big smoke. The guest book in the property says it all about what a fantastic place this is. Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

Great few days staying here. Lots of nice touches (milk in the fridge for our arrival, high chair and cot for our baby etc., basics in the cupboards like salt and oil) and Jo was really easy to communicate with. The house is very comfortable and we really enjoyed staying there.

If you are looking for a quiet, homey cottage look no further. Richard is very straight forward about this being his primary home. There are items in the fridge, freezer, and limited closet space. It is lived in and that’s one of the reasons I choose it. I felt like I was visiting family. My eyes never got tired of looking at all the decor. If you are traveling without a car don’t bother with Uber, call a taxi. Nice cafe a short walk down Church street, walking paths behind the cottage. It’s exactly what we needed.

Lovely accomodation! Although we were only able to stay for a short while, we still had a lovely time. We thoroughly enjoyed the woodland walk (and so did our two chihuahuas). The property was immaculate too. Thank you!

I had a lovely stay in this very beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean house. Beautiful views over the marshes- a bit foggy on my visit. Very private and quiet and ideally placed for a walk on the beach. The house is very spacious, comfortable and well appointed: the children loved the playroom. Highly recommended for a lovely stay by the sea.

We had a lovely stay at Georgias property in rye. The cottage was perfect, exactly as described and super clean. It is a short drive into the centre of rye with so many lovely shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also only a short walk to the beach which is perfect for a relaxed weekend away. Georgia was very helpful and we would highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful cottage! had a great stay in a wonderful location next a pond. Really enjoyed the indoor fireplace and bbq'in in the garden. the cottage was tidy and cosy. Henrietta is an amazing and responsive host helping us with all our needs every step of the way. highly recommend!!

Cosy cottage in a very quiet village with a lovely old pub nearby. Only drawbacks were the low cottage doorways (several bumped heads) and the very steep cottage spiral stairs. Altogether a lovely stay.
