I would definitely stay here again. The space is beautiful and kept nicely. Abdul was very responsive and helpful. I appreciated his flexibility with me needing to extend my stay. The place was amazing, the host was awesome and the view of the stream and hill was fantastic. The place was easily accessible with ample parking. Planning to visit again.

Trizah’s BnB was a gem, conveniently located close to basic amenities and just a 2-minute walk to the beach. The BnB was clean, cozy, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. She went above and beyond by providing thoughtful touches, like essential kitchen supplies, including oil, which saved us from purchasing large quantities we wouldn't use. The extra care and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, Trizah was always quick to respond to any questions we had, which made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Definitely a place we'd love to return to!

I had another great stay at Maria's apartment. It was lovely taking a stroll along the lake shore. It's a great place to work, very quiet, great reliable and fast internet, and with the power inverter, I didn't have to worry about any power cuts interrupting my work. I will definitely be coming back to this lovely escape from the city. Thank you Maria and Sharon for another lovely stay. God bless you!

Brenda and Ire's place is a true home, not an apartment that is only rented out. Lots of quirky decor, very colourful, we loved it (family with two teenage daughters). The girls could just walk around by themselves in town, it is all very friendly. Comfy beds and shower. The rooms were a bit hot in January, but manageable with the extra fans provided. Ire, Omar and Salum were very helpful and kind. Brenda wasn't around, but provided timely and extensive communication ahead of our stay. We have been coming to Stone town since 1994; and even with the mass tourism now firmly established on Unguja, Stone town somehow manages to keep its own spirit and this place reflects that spirit. Great stay, we were very happy to come here.

Our stay was stress free and Jess’s team was very responsive. The property is beautiful as is the view. Would recommend this stay for larger groups since it’s a fairly large house. All in all, we had an amazing time

My visiting brother's family stayed in Kilimandege House while our family took nearby Otter Cottage - this is their review (which I fully endorse). We had a wonderful stay in Kilimandege house. The house and garden were beautifully maintained and very comfortable with lots of books to read, blankets for the evenings and binoculars to use. The garden was gorgeous and sloped down to the lake which you could walk around and spot lots of wildlife. We saw hippos at night - even a mother with her two week old calf! Eric and Jacob, the night guards ensured that we were safe to go from the house to our car after dark. Millie, the housekeep kept the house v clean - beds made, washing up done and fresh water provided and was very helpful with local knowledge. Do prearrange a cook if needed as they get booked up. The bird sanctuary next door was an added bonus to our trip. We had a really restful, peaceful stay.

My wife, I and our three children had a great holiday here. The house is located in a picturesque village surrounded by coconut palms. One of the most beautiful beaches in Kenya is about a 10-minute drive away. We had our own car, so it was not difficult for us to get there, but if you do not have transport, you can always use a tuk-tuk or a motorbike taxi. The beach is beautiful! Next to the house is an ocean bay with mangrove trees. We were very pleased that the house has two excellent SUP boards! At high tide you can ride them through the mangrove forest and it is very, very beautiful! But take shoes with you because there are sharp shells at the bottom. Nice people work in the house. Chef Joseph cooked well and was very kind. Thank him very much! We were lucky with the weather, it was not stuffy at all, so we never used the fans at night. Thanks to the owner of the house Tom and his team for good memories!

This place is a true gem. Hidden away, it's not the typical Zanzibar tourist spot. In fact, we were the only non-local people in the whole neighbourhood. It felt amazing to shop in the local village micro-shop, get fresh fish and calamari straight from the fish market, enjoy the private beach. If you feel like disconnecting, winding down and relaxing to the fullest - this is your place. And then, when you feel like exploring anything Zanzibar has to offer - you have all the options. Ali, the manager, is gonna be your guide, driver, and will arrange anything you please. We went to Stone Town, to Paje, to one of the spice farms, to the Jozani Forrest, to see the turtles, to go kayaking, spent a day on a boat trip (saw dolphins, went snorkelling, visited the famous sand bank, had lobster and fish on a private island). Ali even arrange for Omar, a private chef, to cook for us one evening. We hope to visit again one day. I highly recommend Nick's place! You will not be disappointed!

This house is gorgeous and so well cared for. We were grateful to have such a beautiful, safe retreat during our stay in Watamu for our son’s wedding. Thank you, Lillian!

As always, we had a lovely time at the Lakehouse entertaining a few guests that we had visiting Kenya for the first time. We took in the animals on the property (our visitors were thoroughly awestruck by the end), arranged a night game drive nearby, and toured over to crescent island, among other easily accessible activities from this beautiful property. A big thank you to Jenny for proactively reaching out after we left to flag an item left behind, so we could easily retrieve! Looking forward to our next visit to this property next month.

The Writer's Patch is a labor of love by Elizabeth, every detail is very intricately and intentionally designed. It's a beautiful place (looks just like the pictures and maybe better due to how fresh the air is that you'll be breathing). I traveled as a solo female traveler and Ramadan (the day manager) and the night manager were very helpful and made me feel very safe. Thank you Ramadan! Elizabete is very responsive, proactive and overall helpful. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials (olive oil, coffee, delicious Rwandan teas, salt, milk) and great amenities (pots, pans, kettle, etc). I would 10/10 recommend. For travel/booking considerations: Ruhondo is around 2.5hrs from Kigali and I would recommend getting there during the daylight to appreciate the beautiful lake view. I stayed at the airbnb for 1 week which was a perfect amount of time to reflect, recharge, read some books, go fishing, hike mount bisoke, go gorilla trekking (all within an hour from the airbnb).

Dolphin House is a truly unique place and experience. The position directly on the beach is priceless - I could never get sick of the view! There's a good balance of home comforts and the privacy of the house with still feeling connected with the outside, the community and just generally being in Zanzibar. We spent all of our time in the outside space - rotating between the sofas, the loungers on the beach, the table and the pool. It's incredibly well thought out and comfy! Rudy and his local team were always on hand. The chefs, in particular, are exceptional - while you are handy for plenty of restaurants and bars, we enjoyed every breakfast and most of our dinners at the villa. When you have the best spot on the beach, there was very little reason to leave!

Very quiet, peaceful, private. Pool is shared but very rarely used by just 5(?) other apartments. Ocean with sandy beach just a few meters away. Ocean view from this ground floor apartment is partly blocked by wall but still visible. Kitchen better equipped than most places, Hostess is eager to be helpful.

I hight recommend,if any one wants a peaceful place to chill and relax.

Miguel's apartment is highly recommended! Everything is very appealing and clean. The air conditioners work very well, the bed is very comfortable and the pool is great. An outstanding place to stay for Kenya. Miguel is very pleasant in communication and always responds quickly and helpful. All in all: a super AirBnB!

I absolutely loved my stay! The property is beautiful and the view is lovely! Checking in was very easy and I was greeted upon arrival and my bags taken to my space. I didn’t have any fuss from the monkeys. I would love to stay again in the future!

The staff was the best part of the stay. They were amazing, especially Dan. The property is next to the beach and in the middle of a village. Seeing the African culture and way of living mixed with paradisiac views…was riveting. Several descent restaurants in the area as well. Will definitely book again.

The incredibly friendly and helpful host Franca responds quickly and is highly flexible. She effortlessly accommodates all wishes and needs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Marries place is as it is in the photos! Very clean house, she's always responsive and also calls in to check on you out of the blue despite her busy schedule, she makes you feel at home and like a friend you have known for years despite having never met her in person! I would 1000% recommend her place, it's worth every penny for sure! Shanzu/serena beach is just a stone throw away and also you can go for spa and padel and volleyball at Serena beach hotel or Pride Inn hotel which are next door to Marries place. Had an overall great experience, looking to come back again for the breathtaking view of the ocean from her balcony!
