We absolutely loved this place. The hosts were awesome, the area was great and the unit itself was tip top. We are already planning to come again.

From reading some of the many glowing reviews prior to our stay, we were feeling pretty confident that a great Airbnb was ahead. Well, to say that Deb and Carl exceeded our expectations is an understatement. In life, every now and then we are blessed to meet some exceptional folk and these are two of them. Deb and Carl went above and beyond to ensure that our family had the most wonderful, much needed week away. They were always on hand with helpful advice and gave so many fabulous recommendations to enhance our stay. They made sure that we had everything we needed - and then some! The apartment itself is fabulous. Perfect for the four of us. We loved being such a short walk to the beach and so many amenities all within a 5 minute walk. We couldn’t recommend this more highly. Stayed for two nights with my partner. The property is located on a beautiful spot with vineyards, ponds, trees, and views of the surrounding valley. The welcome gift was very much appreciated. Would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you for hosting us!

5 out of 5 stars is not enough for this gorgeous air bnb. The absolute cleanest place l have ever stayed at. The pool was amazing we used it every day with absolute privacy. Tania was a fantastic hostess very friendly and welcoming l felt right at home. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you could need, chocolates and milk on arrival was lovely. Huge tv, hot shower with lovely shampoos and conditioner. Plenty of extra blankets and linen, face washers towels etc. Just loved it xx

Kerry is an amazing host, she was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The cottage was perfect, so dreamy and relaxing and I couldn't have asked for more. If you're looking for a private retreat, with stunning views and a home-y feel, this is the place to be! This is a hidden gem and I would love to stay again in future.

An amazing place that delivers more than is listed on the site, with added extras such as the provision of surf equipment (e.g. boogie boards), thoughtful touches like a cool bag for transporting cold food and drinks, some kitchen basics (cooking oil, fruit juice). The space is large and very well thought-out. The half bathroom on the upper level is nice to have.

Birds of Paradise is a phenomenal property and hosts Doody and Robert have thought through every aspect of a great stay. The listing description was detailed and accurate, but we were still blown away as Doody has architected an oasis incorporating decadent design, functional spaces, sustainability, beautiful outdoor living and garden areas. You feel like you’re renting more than a “Backyard Studio Unit.” There was plenty of space in the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen areas, and everywhere we turned there was exceptional QUALITY: homeowner design not rental basics; high-end branded kitchen appliances and entertainment systems; an abundance of stylish and functional kitchen accessories, bedding, towels (bathroom and beach), and robes, plus so much more. Plenty of useful information on the unit, how-tos on the awesome technology, and tips for a great stay. We also appreciated the labelling that allowed us to navigate the property with ease. Immaculate and great location-thank you!

Absolutely stunning stay! The pool house was so well built and equipped with top of the range everything, I’ve never had such a high quality experience in an Airbnb, I think this will ruin other air bnbs for me going forward haha!! I feel like there was a surprise and a thoughtful addition to the stay at every turn from the delicious teas coffees alternative milks and musli to the fluffy towels and chocolates. Josie was so warm and welcoming and very responsive. The stay felt so private with such gorgeous views from the room. We chilled by the pool reading during the evening after the beach taking in the views and sipped coffee in the morning in the room looking out over the ocean. Thank you so much, we’ve recommended to our friends and we’re already looking forward to returning in the future :)

We loved our stay here. Very clean, comfy beds, full aircon,good shower, well stocked kitchen and very convenient location. We hope to return. Also very convenient to access the bistro for coffee each morning.

From the moment we walked in the door we knew it would be a great holiday. Karen has decorated the space in a lovely way and we instantly felt relaxed. We enjoyed great family time in the pool and were able to take in many of the local activities including the local dolphin cruise. Our daughter was made to feel welcome and enjoyed feeding the chickens and playing with resident dog Zoe. We had a ball and will definitely be back. A great place for both summer and winter.

Great Airbnb in a convenient location

Tammy was very polite and helpful during our stay. The place was inviting clean and Tammy let me know all the 'must knows' before coming such as, last Woolworth or Coles depending on which way I was entering Catherine Hill Bay. Weather was rubbish while I was there but Tammy offered an extended checkout time to try and make up for something that neither of us had any control over. very recommended very friendly and helpful.

Was the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. Terri was amazing - considerate, kind, friendly, very generous in the provision of tasty treats (including gluten free treats), a beautiful breakfast provisions and lots of other additions including a bottle of wine and cheese platter on arrival. All the reviews written before our stay stacked up although the five star rating system doesn’t come close to what I would rate this place and Terri as a host who goes above and beyond - even to the point of texting me when she was at the shops to see if I needed anything and providing a hot water bottle when we needed it. We loved our time there, found it incredibly relaxing and felt very spoilt. I would give the highest recommendation possible. We will definitely be back. Thanks Terri. Linda’s place was lovely. We stayed there to attend a wedding (so not as a tourist) and it was perfect. Clean, comfortable, beautiful gardens and the bed was so comfy! Linda communicated clearly and frequently and was kind and helpful. Great value. Highly recommend

My family and I felt like we were staying at friends place, Megan and Nic made us feel right at home. The highlight was being able to get home after a day of exploring and use the pool and pool area to relax. They were helpful and approachable. The place has everything we needed and was neat and clean. Thank you to Megan and Nic for such a wonderful stay!

More place was in such a great spot, walk to both beaches and the shops, cosy and welcoming.

Very comfortable stay, communicative hosts lovely location.

This is an amazing little gem nestled on the picture. Lake Macquarie. Leah the host is extremely generous and kind and has gone to considerable thought in ensuring that everything is in the property that you will need and a few extras to my partner and I did not want to leave. It was just so lovely and we felt right at home. Leah was extremely responsive and insured that we had everything we needed. It is definitely worth the money to stay here and we will definitely be back. Thank you Leah for providing such a beautiful space.
