Holiday houses in Graneros Gorge

Being able to walk out the back door for 5 minutes to the river was amazing. And the yard was fenced in so my dog could sniff around off-leash. Mary gave great recommendations for restaurants and hikes. It was a very peaceful stay.

This is an awesome place. I’m not sure if it was because of the time of the year but we got a great rate it was beyond reasonable. The place looks better in person than in picture, this might sound like a fake review but this is actually a diamond in the rough I hope I get the opportunity to stay here again next year.

Our group was 4 adults and 2 small children and this place suited our needs very well! All amenities that were listed in the listing were all there and plenty of things that weren't listed were there as well! All appliances worked well and so did the grill in the back yard. Beds were comfortable and the pack n play and fold up crib were great for the kids. The royal gorge is about 25 minutes away and is a must see! Historic downtown was just a couple minutes away by car with some nice eateries. There is Ortegas restaurant just a minutes walk and we thought it was good. Nice having something that close by! I would taste this rental as excellent and would absolutely book here again!

Great space and location for peaceful family time! The house is just as cozy as the pictures suggest, with comfortable and well taken care of furnishings. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Highlight for families is the upstairs loft with special sleeping and play space for little kids. Our daughter loved the new to her toys and books.

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely look to book again. Perfect for a large group or multiple families. The house is a short drive from town in a newer neighborhood. There are some nice views from the neighborhood!

This was our family's 2nd stay at this property, and we wouldn't hesitate to book it again. The location is very private and secluded, with beautiful views everywhere you look. You're only a few minutes from Great Sand Dunes Nat'l Park, and about a 30-ish minute drive to the hot spring pool. The house is quite large and provided private spaces for each of the 5 of us. The large kitchen has every amenity. There is a "no shoes inside" policy at this property, which is not an issue at all, and the carpet and flooring stay clean. The roads in the neighborhood are not paved, and are perfect for taking long walks where you might spot deer, rabbits and dozens of hummingbirds.
