Cabin holiday rentals in Grand Isle County

My boyfriend Jesse and I are having such a fun time here! . Location and directions easy to follow ! Yuri & Jess we’re really great about getting back to be asap. I mean quick enough that the awkward anxiety I get from wondering how long it’ll take for a response I am definitely in love with the place .. even tough it’ll have to trav 1-2 to come back ! Beautiful private peaceful venue. Gorgeous natural wood, lots of windows and conversation areas in the communal spaces. Loved having the fireplace and jacuzzi tub in our room. Hosts communication was prompt, respectful and professional. Definitely would go back.

Exceeded our expectations. Kristine was super responsive and extremely helpful. The cabin is so spacious and peaceful. Easy drive from Burlington and other surrounding towns. Planning our next stay already!

Robin's cabin was very homey and had a lot of great books and games. The hot tub was lovely and clean. All of Robin's instructions and messages were clear and helpful. I would say you should definitely have 4 wheel drive if you go when it snows.

Our stay at the ZaLo waterfront cabin was nothing short of peaceful and cozy. The space had everything we needed to make the most of our winter stay. We especially enjoyed utilizing the fully stocked kitchen to enjoy homemade meals and braving the cold to warm up in the conveniently located hot tub. Jon and his family were extremely welcoming and communicative. It’s apparent they take pride in their spaces and truly enjoy making experiences memorable for others.

My husband and I stayed here on our anniversary trip and fell in love with this beautiful, magical, cozy lodge. I told him I want to spend every Christmas there for the rest of my life, and bring my family. It was the absolute perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and we’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful location and great house. Hard to beat a private, fenced in yard on the water for dogs and small children.

Absolutely loves staying here! We travel up to this area often to visit family and friends and this was the first place I can sing the highest praises about! Stunning views, overwhelming calm presence, and very responsive team to make sure you're well taken care of through the entire process. I will absolutely be back!

We stayed on the island for a week at the birds nest. I will start with negatives, and follow up with positives. Overall our stay was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it, and would like to come back again. For negatives, there was a slight fly problem in the house, we picked up some fly tape and took care of the problem. The house is rustic, there were bugs, but RUSTIC is the word here, don’t stay somewhere rustic, if you are afraid of bugs and a little dirt. The other negative, is that the house is managed by a property mgmt group called Vacasa. I didn’t realize this, and didn’t get responses for a while, then finally realized, and was able to call/ text them and they provided excellent service, even came over to fix something the next morning upon our arrival. Also, the post doesn’t state that there is a historical house attached the the birds nest house. Jim lives there and his cute dog, Jim was helpful, friendly, and informative, chopped some wood for us and lent us peroxide. However, we barely ever saw him! And the property is large that you do not need to interact at all if you don’t want! You still have a completely private beach, and private house. This place was pure beauty. If you are looking for peace and wholesomeness this is for you. Also, they had a rowboat, canoe, and peddle boat! 5 chairs down by the fire on the beach, a pretty well equipped kitchen! A blue heron lives in the cove. I loved my week on Isle la Motte. I look forward to returning one day. Closest full grocery store is 30 mins away, small shops within 15 mins.

Beautiful spot on the lake. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and very well taken care of. Lots of outdoor spaces to hang out. Deck, several spaces with fire pits and a dock to fish from. We didn’t have the best weather but the one or two days we did have a sunset, it was amazing! House was extremely clean and well appointed. Thanks so much!

We had a very nice, quiet stay in Plattsburgh. Check-in in and out was simple and it was a neat lodge.

Beautiful cabin, would love to stay here outside of the winter season as well, but watching the snow from our room was very peaceful!

I stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and 2 kids. The place was chosen as it is close to the shore where we like doing fishing. That’s not the first time we picked this shore line houses to stay in this area. First of all I want to say very good words to Kristopher for his great communication and best of him instructions about this area. It was really helpful. Secondly, the house where we spent peaceful nights is just a fairytale. It’s so bright and cosy that my kids didn’t want to leave when the time came up. The house is not enormous but it has everything that you need: WiFi, comfortable beds, clean and big enough bathroom, nice kitchen with fully equipped accessories you need for cooking, wide light dining room with table and chairs, binocular is an excellent device to watch outside lying in a comfy chair. Thirdly, we had 2 days of just marvelous fishing, free Tubing with fireworks as it was some kind of festival. Generally, it’s so nice place to stay out of stony cities. Love it

Paul and Jenel’s cottage was so lovely. Accommodations are modest, but full of everything you’d need for a lakeside stay. Everything was clean, cozy and picturesque. I felt like I stepped back in time 35 years with the antique furniture (all in good shape too!). The cottage is set back on the property, but you can still see the water from the porch and front windows. Paul was helpful when I needed to find a late night place to eat, and they even let me borrow a bike to explore the island with. I felt safe and secure as a solo femme traveler needing a place to stay for a wedding nearby. The island itself is beautiful and very quiet, people are friendly. You basically don’t have anything by way or restaurants or bars without having to leave the island, but it’s a great place to relax and reset in nature.

Beautiful location right on Lake Champlain. The cabin was quaint, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. Had a rustic, family-cabin feel.

The comfy, cozy, lakeside cottage was a treat! The cleanliness was noted. Really appreciated the washer and dryer. Being on the lake with a western view was special. Beachcombing for seaglass was a lot of fun. Trips to Stowe and surrounds were easy with our GPS. There was evidence of a number of innovations such as driftwood fixtures, cool stairway to the beach, etc. (beach is all stones, BTW). Nancy and Dave were there to meet us when we arrived and showed us around the place well. They made us feel very comfortable. We recommend this home highly.
