Cabin holiday rentals in Grand County

Rented the unit to participate in an ultra race, which turned out to be ideal since the race start was just down the street (Gemini Bridges Trailhead). This is the start/finish staging for many of the Moab trail races and also central to several of the parks, so it's a perfect choice if you're in town for a race or just for outdoor recreation. 3 people in the cabin was tight, but it appears to be able to accommodate up to 6. If you're just using it as a place to sleep, prepare meals, and have a warm place to hang out in the winter, this is a great spot. I didn't use it, but the small store looked to carry necessities, which is great so you don't have to go into Moab if you forgot something. I would stay again and recommend it as a good option for playing in Moab.

Exactly What I was seeking. Remote privacy with wifi. I was able to blend meditation, relaxing, self-evaluation, long term planning and beautiful views.

Such a beautiful family style cabin that you can tell is well loved and cared for by the owners. Family photos all over the cabin and their story is in a book for guests to read. This cabin is located on the very top of mt La Sal which took us about 30 min to get to from the bottom of the mountain and it is a windy windy road. At the top is the small camp site/private property of the owner with other cabins on site. There is no ATV trails near by and property is covered in snow, windy and very cold during winter months up to atleast April. I checked the weather conditions daily and didn’t see anything about snow up there but I didn’t realized how high we’d actually be. I’m sharing this for you to be prepared and check weather in Mt La Sal area at the top of peak. We spent a few days hanging at the cabin and had an amazing time. There are NO fire pits at the cabin which was a bummer so no s’mores. Then the other days we ventured down the mt to the Moab area and had a blast.

great place to stay!

Whispering pines was a lovely surprise. We had no idea how beautiful the setting for our cabin was. It was private, cozy and fun. We felt like we were in a completely different world than the touristy business of Moab. We spent every Morning and night in the hot tub enjoying the beautiful mountains, the sunsets , the night sky. And the surroundings .The cabin itself was cozy and fun and had everything we needed. Kathy at Whispering Oaks was supper helpful and available . We highly recommend Whispering Pines !!! You will Love it !

If you want to escape the busy tourist area of downtown Moab this is the place! It's a 30 minutes or more dive up into the beautiful mountains. we wish we had more time to explore the scenery. It is a beautiful place with everything as described. It had snowed 6" overnight and the maintenance guy was there first thing in the morning to clear the roads.

Amazing cabn - truly great place to stay if you want to escape from the city. Instructions about the road selection to get to this cabin were super-helpful. The place itself is very nice, better than the pictures! There were 5 of us (1 pair and 3 friends), we were settles very comfortably in separate bedrooms, and enjoyed shared space. The view is amazing, and the fresh air - you will not get enough of it if you go to this place.

This stay was lovely. The unit felt very spacious to us for what it is, and the location off the highway was convenient for our road trip. We particularly appreciated the clear manual in the home and Walt’s clear communication about amenities and information. The manual says they have a DVD collection to check out, which made us feel at home. Great value and can recommend.

Had a great time staying in one of the adventure cabins! The cabin was SO cozy and well done - perfect for a family of 4 or even 5. We especially enjoyed the roof top deck and fire pit! Spent every night up there. Highly recommend this location and cabin for those wanting a great place to stay in Moab!
