I can’t explain how wonderful our stay was at this venue. The venue is even better than the photos and accommodated a group of 18 of us comfortably. The host was very responsive, the place was squeaky clean, great amount of bathrooms, a short walk to the most beautiful waterfall and the kitchen was fabulous (we hired a caterer) Thank you for having us - 10/10 venue for group events.

The place and our stay has been amazing. Just what we were looking for and needed to kick start the new year! The place was so peaceful and love being next to the river; the touches/decor within the cottage is so beautiful as well. It’s complete with its amenities and had all that we needed, even had games to play as well! Lucie has been so responsive and a message away. Would definitely go back again, next time in the summer❤️

My family and I stayed at this space over Christmas and we had an amazing time! Sarah is genuinely just such an amazing host, so friendly and warm! She welcomed us with some drinks and had a beautiful little spread waiting for us on the table. The detail and effort that went into making things festive and cosy was so appreciated, it really felt magical and the kids absolutely loved it! There were quite a few musical instruments which was really fun too :) There were plenty of games for us to play and plenty of space for everyone. All in all, we have a really wonderful time and Sarah was super accommodating throughout our stay. I would highly recommend Sarah’s beautiful listing for anyone/group looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some cosy quality time together. We’re looking forward to staying again in the future :)

Excellent accommodation for our family of 5 adults and our dog. House was spotlessly clean, lovely views and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Comfortable beds, quiet and very warm in January as underfloor heating is lovely. Met the owner who was very helpful. Excellent meal at the local pub and lovely Indian takeaway. Shop owner is extremely friendly. Highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be back another time.

Parrog House is a beautifully situated, large house, virtually on the sea front in Newport. Despite being a large old building, the aga and log fire made it feel very cosy, even in the midst of winter storms. The kitchen and dining room were great for dinner with family and friends but there are also some great pubs close by (walking distance) if you want a night off cooking. With 4 showers and 5 toilets there were also ample facilities for everyone, which is great when your group includes teenagers as ours did. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful setting tucked away in a corner of a very large lawn/field and half in the surrounding trees. Very peaceful with all the household amenities you'd need. Paula and Tom couldn't have been more helpful with lots of suggestions for places of interest and eating.

Great stay and communication throughout. The house was perfect for our needs and exactly as described. Couldn’t ask for more.

The cottage was perfectly located for us to visit family in Pontypridd and a trip to Cardiff. Luke responded really quickly to messages and was really friendly. Everything we needed, a warm and cosy base for our weekend. Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was very comfortable, stylish and well equipped. We could reach nice beaches in about 20 mins on the West Coast and about 30 mins on the South Coast giving the option of waves or a calm bay. Nice places to paddle board kayak or boogie board. Would recommend. Susie replied to any queries very quickly.
