Cabin holiday rentals in Gooseberry Falls

Me and my husband were very impressed with this place. It was beautiful, so relaxing and private but not too far from town! The host was awesome, the filter system on the hot tub stopped working the day we arrived and she had it fixed, refilled and up to temp by the time we got there! We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to others!

This home was absolutely gorgeous! The photos listed were great but it was even more immaculate in person. Such a cozy spot with great views of Lake Superior. We will be coming back for sure :)

Laura's cabin is beautiful! The location is private with beautiful woods all around. The cabin is decorated tastefully and is very comfortable. We were delighted to find the kitchen had lots of pots and pans and utensils and all the staple are there too - which was very helpful for cooking at the cabin. The hot tub is easy to care for and was a true highlight! The cabin gets great light. As three friends traveling, the only issue was there are no doors to bedrooms, so being comfortable sharing one big open space is a consideration for your group! We had a wonderful time!

The photos don’t do this location justice! The accommodations were top notch, and Jeanne makes you feel like family! Worth every penny! Will be back again to show more friends and family this amazing place!

Absolutely loved Harvest Moon Cabin! How peaceful it was, just a comfy place to be. We saw lots of wildlife too! Bears, deer, it was so fun! The northern lights even came out for a while. I would love to come back someday! Thanks for a great stay.

This place is an instant yes. 100% worth the money. The hot tub is huge and the house is so spacious and nice, our group of 6 was more than comfortable all weekend. David was a responsive, flexible and friendly host. They left us with a full kitchen and recipes if we needed inspiration! It truly felt like a slice of paradise. Even in the winter, the lake was breathtaking. The ice was crystal clear! Our group will most definitely be back. Thanks again for sharing such a sweet space with us!!!

Jeff was very accommodating with any of our needs/requests, and the location was perfect for our trip requirements. The kitchen is well stocked for any cooking you may wish to do during your stay as well, removing the need to go out to eat if you wish to. My familey and I look forward to another stay here everytime we will be visiting in the area in the future!

Absolutely loved our stay, such a cozy cottage and we were blessed with some magically weather also. Kristin is very responsive and accommodating. Always glad to find out place we can bring our pups with!

We had a great stay at Elizabeth and Mike’s place!!! We love that it is right on the Birkie trails and you can ski right from the cabin. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and Mike and Elizabeth are so great to work with. Still our favorite Airbnb place to stay.

We always feel so incredibly fortunate to get to stay at Brandi’s cabin on the flowage. It is a peace we look forward to enjoying a few times a year. The blue jays filled the lines and the swans kept in search of open water. It was perfection! Peaceful even amidst the hurry of the holidays. Cannot wait to return ♥️🌲

Had a fantastic time here, very relaxing and peaceful place to stay! The guest book, polaroid pictures, and s'mores left for us to enjoy were all fun as well! We were lucky enough to have fresh snowfall the first night, so the views were incredible! Very cozy place to stay, will definitely be coming back in the warmer months to enjoy the lake! Kirk's cabin was beautiful and very inviting and comfy also well kept and very clean. Everything we needed to make our winter weekend get away comfy was provided. We spent some time snowshoeing on the many trails on the property during the day and spent our evening relaxing inside watching movies and playing the provided board games. If we were every in the area for a weekend again we would definitely check availability of this cabin.

This was such a comfortable and cozy place to stay. It can get cold at night on the north shore in October, but a nice fire in the fireplace kept the cabin warm. The cabin is right off the road but perfectly secluded and private. There were a lot of nice extras like books, games, etc. I will most likely stay there again in the future. It was perfect!

We loved staying at Samantha's property. Communication was great, the cabin was clean and super cozy and had everything that we needed. This is a little gem up north and we would love to stay here again. The lake is beautiful and the rental comes with kayaks and other water toys. We kayaked to the local restaurant which was easy to get to and a very pretty, short paddle away. We loved sitting by the fire and they had ample firewood provided. Can't say enough about the experience!

This was our 4th staying at the cabin and we were so glad we came back! We love that they allow dogs! It’s very cozy with everything you need to make meals and is a great home base for Nordic ski adventuring since it’s in between Lutsen and gunflint and right next to pinchushion. It’s also nice to be so close to grand marais if you end up needing to go out for anything.

Great little spot for exploring Ely and the boundary waters area. Will definitely stay again! Small, clean and great view of lake vermillion

The cabin was organized and cozy. It had a lot of amenities for such a small place. It was exactly what we needed. The bathroom was clean and very nice if being compared to a "camp" bathroom. We had the added surprise of finding lake jellyfish in Lake Armstrong. The host had never seen them before and it was one of the highlights of our trip. (Per Google they usually only appear in late summer) We would definitely stay here again.

Kevin's place was perfect in every way! The Homestead cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable and the perfect size for us. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family!
