This house was perfect for our romantic getaway. Everything was perfect. The house was comfortable and homey yet modern and clean feeling. The bed was so comfortable I slept like I was home. It was secluded and quiet. The hot tub worked great as well. We would definitely go here again if we wanted to unplug and get away. The host was helpful and responsive. Ten out of ten for sure.

What an awesome spot for a weekend away! We could not be happier with our stay at this cute little cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed the front porch and coffee in the morning and then hanging out in the back at night enjoying a relaxing fire. Hot tub was great as well! The cabin had everything we needed, was exceptionally clean, and the linens were good quality. The property feels private despite having other airbnbs on the property as they are well spaced. We would happily stay here again!

We had such a great stay! It was unexpectedly freezing so we made use of the fireplace and of course the hot tub, which was great. The cabin was much bigger than we were expecting - the pictures don’t do it justice! It’s all so beautifully decorated as well. Perfect for a couple and our young kid. Had such a cosy time and wish we had longer! Hopefully we’ll get to come back some day

Beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the lovely Pool, Sauna, Hot Tub and general peace of the area in the midst of nature and a short walk to lake n trails.

We had a great couples weekend. The cabin was spacious and cozy. The surroundings were beautiful and quiet. Just what we needed to get away from kids and city life. Peace and quiet.

Everything about this place was great. My family loves the surroundings and privacy. Local restaurants were also great! Only issue I found was during checkout. After booking I was sent a list of things to do prior to checkout. This included cleaning/laundry. But I was charged cleaning fees during booking.

Love this hidden little Hill Country gem of a place! Hosts greeted us & gave clear instructions prior to arrival. Friendly goats & chickens! Lots of variety of birds! Really enjoyed the climb down to the hidden deck at the creek. So grateful Patti & David shares their little slice of Heaven with others!

We couldn't have picked a better place for our getaway. Very clean, well stocked kitchen (spices, oils, condiments, coffee, and other goodies), perfect for us to come in and cook and feel like we had everything we needed and just enjoy being away to recharge without having to go anywhere. We stayed during an extreme cold spell and the cabin was warm and cozy with the indoor fireplace. Perfect place to be in the winter! We loved waking up surrounded by trees and getting to hear the birds (we saw over fifteen species) and the beautiful trees, watching the rabbit from the front porch and we even saw deer! I have scent and pet allergies, and I had no problems at all. Highly recommend this spot. Thank you to the hosts for their thoughtfulness.

Beautiful location. Absolutely serene. Jennifer was very helpful in getting us settled in and provided recommendations. House was very clean, scenery from the porch/patio was absolutely stunning. Our pup loved running off leash and looking/listening to wildlife around including friendly cows.

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Sweet Serengeti. Myra and Colin are gracious hosts sharing their little slice of heaven with guests, providing a tour and guidance on the animals, even lighting a fire for us to enjoy. Our three boys loved interacting with the animals, jumping on the trampoline, fishing, and kayaking/paddle boating on the pond. We took in a beautiful sunset relaxing in the hot tub, and the nighttime stars are breathtaking! Easy to get to Real Ale and restaurants in Blanco or Johnson City. Cabin is stocked with everything you need and is squeaky clean. The boys played hide and seek and didn’t even get dusty hiding behind the furniture! We made many wonderful memories and hope to return someday!💜

I can't say enough about how wonderful this place and its location are. Every modern convenience you could want inside the Cabin. No noise outside, a swift running river down the lane, and a Big Sky full of planets and stars at night. Brigette and Shawn are wonderful people. I hope to come back on an annual basis if not sooner.

This has definitely become a favorite of mine & my fiancé. This is exactly what we are looking for when we want peace & quiet. Super cozy and in a great location!! We would love to come come back :)

Just what I was looking for… quiet and peaceful. Fenced yard for my dog to explore. I’ve stayed here before, and Julie left me a personal note and some flowers! The cabin is simple but cozy, clean, and just enough. Julie was on the main property when we left, and she stopped to say hi and check on our stay. It’s not super close to anything, which is what I wanted, but we could be in Dripping Springs, Johnson City or Pedernales State Park in minutes. Thanks for another great stay!

My family and I absolutely loved our 4 days at your gorgeous place. I would totally give a 10-star rating if I could. We will be back.

William and Debbie are the perfect hosts!! They always responded immediately to my questions!! They made us feel like family! Their place is very cozy and peaceful with a beautiful view of the river in the back of the house. I wish we had had more time to relax on the back deck and maybe use the fire pit!!

We absolutely love staying at John and Marsha’s cabin! It is the perfect location to come and relax, visit local wineries and take in the beautiful Hill County. This was our second visit and cannot wait for our next one! Thank you both for your wonderful hospitality!

Private and peaceful location, clean and neat living space, a generous host and a friendly giant (Denver the farm dog) for outdoor company. What more can you ask for.

Really cool location and would recomend if you wamt to get away to relax. Close to town and the river. We will be back!

I loved my stay! Neighbors have horses and chicken and goats so cute and fun to go walking with my dog. The outdoor shower was luxuriously fun too haha. Jesse and the hosts were very quick to respond and problem solve my questions and concerns, thank you for this stay!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here! It was so peaceful! They put out feed every morning so we would wake up to multiple deer walking around. We only had a weekend away but I am definitely coming back here when we can have more time to appreciate it.
