We had a great stay after a long ski day at Kicking Horse. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Wendy was easy to communicate with, making the experience even better. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Golden

great simple spot to access many different ski areas, jacuzzi was excellent, Ben was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this spot.

Beautiful property with a pristine kitchen, and really nice amenities like a well taken care of hot tub, and jetted tub in the master bathroom. The property has many KM of beautiful trails and access to the river. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and some pantry, staples, and condiments. The indoor fireplace was really nice. My kids really enjoyed all of the toys and games that she had. Julie, our host, was very kind and very helpful. I really see me and my family returning here and hopefully in the summer sometime.

The cabin is literally surrounded by mountains. Very peaceful. Host was responsive. I would definitely come back.

Great lil cabin for a ski getaway! Had everything we needed. The hot tub was a big bonus and a wood burning fireplace inside was great! Nice and quiet, tucked away in the woods but nice and close to town and the ski hill. 1 queen bed, 1 double bed, 1 single bed. Sherri very communicative and great host they live close by.

It were amazing New year's holidays. The place is peaceful and cozy. Great for a big family like us. Thanks for this great experience.

Absolutely loved our stay, the cabin is beautiful and better than described! We felt spoilt waking up to the mountains every morning. Erica was brilliant with any questions we had. We can’t wait to come back in the summer to experience the cabin again!

The cabin was amazing, exactly has described. Stef was very responsive. The view from the private deck off the bedroom was breathtaking and the private hot tub was perfect after hiking. Golden was very close so it was very easy to get groceries or supper. The access road was very well maintained. I cant say enough good things! Will definitely be back!!

Our stay was exactly as advertised! The location is absolutely amazing, making it a perfect getaway spot. We only booked for one day, but we quickly realized that wasn’t enough to fully enjoy everything it has to offer. Next time, we’ll definitely book for two days to make the most of it. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great experience!

I don't know what else to say except, book it now! We absolutely loved Kristin's place. We are frequent Airbnb guests and I have to say this one is Top 3 favorites. We are also huge animal lovers so the fact that it came with horses, cats and dogs OH MY! It helped us from missing our dogs at home, thank you for sharing them. When you meet Pixie and Burgess- be nice to them and give them ALL the pets and love! The place was very clean, great views and convenient to downtown Golden that had restaurants, grocery store and yes Tim Hortons! The airbnb was our home base while we traveled to Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise and everywhere in between. Would absolutely stay here again and again. Felt like home instantly!

Watson’s cabin is a truly beautiful place to stay near Golden! Being out of town allowed for a peaceful setting and the cabin was incredibly cozy and perfect for a couple. It had all the amenities we needed for a lovely retreat. Thank you Richard and Watson for having us!

This little cabin was perfect for a trip to the Canadian Rockies! Great location near Golden which has some amazing restaurants and attractions. We were able to see the northern lights while at the Airbnb since it was outside the town. Very nice hosts, and great location. If we are ever visiting again I would stay here!!

My wife and I stayed at the The Golden Basecamp for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. So peaceful and quiet, 10 min drive from downtown Golden. We had one incredible night of watching the Aurora borealis dance above us, and not to mention the countless outdoor activities surrounding the area. Thank you for making it truly special!

Frances was super nice and helpful and reached out about a week before our trip. She let us know there was construction which might increase the time it takes to drive in which was helpful to know. She responded almost immediately when we had questions. The cabin was chilly on arrival but has two space heaters and a wood fireplace, with wood and fire starting supplies right out front on the front door on the deck. The cabin is only 10 minutes from town with great pubs and little cafes. The only thing I would be mindful of is if you plan to take trips to Banff or Yoho, which we had planned, the trip is much longer (around three hours) when highway 1 is closed. Not sure how long they plan to have construction there. Often times the highway opens up on the weekends though. So just make sure you plan accordingly!

This is a beautiful modern open concept place. The heated floors and gorgeous wooden furniture pieces stand out.

If you are looking to escape the fast pace of life, this is the place to do it. Limited cell service, no TV - but instead surrounded by natural beauty of trees and mountains. This cabin had everything we needed, and the town of Golden was a short drive away. Our dogs absolutely loved roaming the property and we enjoyed the peaceful scenery. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. I would absolutely book this place again!

We fell in love with that cabin! I felt like home in the first minutes! The host Duane was so sympathic, we could have spent a whole day talking with him and all the stories he had to tell about his native area. I wish I will be back next year! He was so interested by our stories too! I strongly recommand!

This cabin is a dream! It's beautiful inside and out. So serene and peaceful, if you're looking for an escape. We found everything we needed at the cabin - well-stocked kitchen and bathroom, comfy couches and bed, gorgeous outdoor space. The gazebo was perfect to have morning coffee and read a book on the one day that it rained while we were there. Honestly, this is my dream home :-)
