Holiday houses in Glounthaune

Mary's place is one of the most homey, cozy, and accommodating AirBnB's that I've stayed at. My family was greeted by a warm fire upon arrival, and Mary showed up shortly after to make sure that we settled in okay and she gave us a restaurant recommendation that didn't fail us. The home has two bathrooms available, and though the one downstairs is more compact than we're used to, we appreciated them both. The house is well insulated and the beds are comfortable with plenty of extra linens provided. We drove a rental so it was great having a designated parking spot in the driveway. If I find myself heading for Youghal again in the future, I'll absolutely seek out Mary's home first. You can't beat a great AirBnB with a great host.

If you're looking for a clean, safe, spacious, remote home with plenty of bathrooms, natural light, beautiful views, a laundry room and hosts who will call your delivery driver to give him directions so you can get your food, this is the place for you. We used this as a home base for day trips all over Western Ireland - Killarney National Park and Kerry Cliffs, Slea Head Drive, The Burren and the Cliffs of Moher, and Blarney Castle. We weren't close to our destinations, but that was part of the adventure - driving narrow country roads, stopping in villages along the way, and enjoying the scenic landscape. Our hosts responded immediately to our questions and provided a binder of useful information. We recommend you take a walk (go left out of the driveway) for some more gorgeous views.

So peaceful and relaxing. The view was beautiful and the lodge was so clean and cozy…very friendly and their pets that came and said hi were so friendly too amazing place to get away for a couple days

We visited in March and the property surrounds were very peaceful. The host was very responsive and accommodated a late check out without any problem. The property was exactly as per the listing and Veronica send a very detailed welcome message with lots of additional information. We really enjoyed our visit

A lovely little space, very close to Killarney if you're driving. The house was cozy and well decorated, had absolutely incredible views, and even has a cute little walk along a creek out back. The kitchen had everything you needed, but was a little light on some options - but other than that, the house was very well appointed. I'd recommend it for future stays!

This was our final stay in the South of Ireland. We had a lovely time, very good set up and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to come visit again!
