Cabin holiday rentals in Glendale Lake

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! Large living space, great showers, every bedroom has its own bathroom, technology like tv and wifi all worked perfectly. The hot tub was lovely, the location is beautiful nestled in the hills. We cooked several meals and the kitchen was more stocked than most airbnbs. Jamie was a great communicator, very responsive and kind. Would absolutely love to stay here again!

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. Everything was clean and fresh, including the hot tub. There are many small decorative touches that made it feel cozy. The view of the landscape from the living room was amazing. There was plenty of room that we could all be together, and also have our own space if desired. We did not use the deck, but it is also large and has a great view. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, cozy getaway from it all!

This is the second time I have stayed at Kim’s cabin! My friends and I absolutely love this Airbnb! Clean, Quiet, Spacious, Hot Tub, and much more! I recommend it highly!

We had an absolutely AMAZING time at this home! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool table and the Hot Tub. The beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of places to sit and relax. Joshua was also very responsive with any questions I had. I would definitely plan another getaway here!

Tylere was a fantastic host. He was very responsive and addressed all of our concerns in a very timely fashion. There was a lot of snow while we were there and he had the driveway cleared twice so we were able to get out. Thanks!

Great getaway for a girls’ weekend- big sofa by the fire for all of us to talk, love seat and a couple chairs upstairs for smaller chats, spacious and well-outfitted kitchen and adjoining dining area. Really perfect for reconnecting and nonstop eating!

Had a fantastic stay. The place was beautiful and the cabin was well kept. Thomas was an amazing host and was very accommodating. Ran into some problems with the weather and the roads surrounding the area so be weary of weather conditions. Regardless, it was a great experience!!

Location, ambience inside and out, roominess, cleanliness, decor, and price are outstanding for this Blue Knob house. All 7 of us had plenty of space and the laundry, deck, parking, street quietness were all above and beyond. Modern appliances combined with the colors and pictures and furnishings to give that ski mountain getaway, yet elegant feel. Don't hesitate to check it out. Thanks!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin! Incredible historic architecture with it being built in 1828, and renovated in a way that keeps the charm while making it comfortable and with all the amenities. Very responsive and thoughtful hosts. We look forward to returning!

Urban Saddle Ranch is so very unique. If you like quirky, rustic and off the beaten path quarters than this is the right place for you. The cabins are located in a private wooded setting. The only sounds you will hear are from the roosters, pigs and geese. There are several beautiful Clydesdale horses along with ponies, dogs, ca, pigs and a famous turkey by the name of Walter. I cannot say enough good things about the owners. Our son is attending a college nearby and we have been coming here for the past 4 years. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

This is our second stay at the cabin and it was great. We come to the area to visit family and this is the perfect place to stay with our dogs and kids. The dogs love the adjacent field and the kids love all the games and movies. I love that my dogs, kids and husband are happy and I can relax!

Richard was very responsive and flexible when I came to booking. I had to change the dates and check in earlier than expected and he was very accommodating. Richard also recommended a hike for us that was nearby that was nice and easy for our dogs

We enjoyed the peace and quiet that the cabin offered. It was fairly close to the places of interest. Perfect place for 2 people. We would stay there again.

we were looking for a small cabin to escape to for a few days and this one couldn't have been more perfect. everything was hand crafted and beautifully detailed, built by the owner and his son's with so much love!! we had such a peaceful time at sassafras hollow. Our first night we spent the evening roasting marshmallows by the lake nearby. the second day I was lucky enough to participate in a workshop hosted in the owner's woodshop right on the property! I chose to turn a wood bowl and it was a very tactile experience! the cabin is stocked nicely with records and books and movies. Do keep in mind, most establishments are at least 30 minutes away, so it may be worth preparing and bringing enough food for your stay. that's what we did and it was so nice to have everything we needed on hand. the kitchenette is a bit small, but had everything we needed to prepare a lovely dinner. I cannot recommend this gorgeous cabin enough! such crisp air and stunning views!

We got a snow and Ice stone the night before our stay. When we arrived he was there adding pavers on top of the ice so that we wouldn’t fall waking up the walk way from the drive way. This was so very thoughtful!

The cabin in Saxton was a great home away from home for our family to meet for Thanksgiving this year. The place was comfortable and warm with all of the wood and coordinating decor, and the small touches by the hostess (recommendations, toiletries, etc.) showed her attention to detail and ensuring we were comfortable during our stay. When we had to reach out to Kacie for something, she was quick to respond (even on Thanksgiving day) and willing to help if needed.

Elizabeth was an amazing host. From the moment I entered the home, I knew that the cabin was special to their family. There are many photos dating back decades that made me think of all the love and memories this place held for their family. I was honored to be able to be part of that and make memories there with our family. I look forward to returning every chance we get! This cabin was just what we needed, surrounded by nature, and quiet, but also 15 mins from a Walmart and grocery store! The kids loved the big yard and exploring in the woods. Thank you for the amazing memories!

Nina was extremely helpful with arrival instructions on how to get to the cottage. Her response time was very quick. Rooms matched the pictures and had a instruction manual/recommendations book

While the cabin by the creek is described as rustic, (and it feels that way) there are some important up grades done. One that stands out is plenty of hot water quickly. Their system for hot water is excellent making morning showers easy and fast for both of us. Edward was a proactive host, meeting us on arrival and available by phone when needed or questions arose. The location near the Coolspring Power Museum was super convenient for us and the cabin setting was still private and peaceful. The outdoor gazebo with barbeque was very nice for having friends for a cook-out as well. Both indoor and outdoor type fire wood was provided as well as a spare propane tank should we run out in the middle of a barbeque. We will be booking this cabin yearly.

Came with a group of 14 and everyone was able to comfortably fit. The host was extremely kind and made sure that we had all the information we needed to feel safe and comfortable. The place was clean and very homey. The property was absolutely beautiful. The highlight of the trip was being able to go outside at night and see all the stars. It is in the middle of nowhere so make sure you bring everything you need and maybe extras in case. But we would recommend the place as a MUST visit.
